Knew of a few guys at my college that reapplied to college for their second year to nursing and got in. In my country you don't automatically lose your original place when you gain a new one. They had no intention of switching to nursing. They just wanted to go to the start of college two weeks of parties with a class of almost only girls. Which they got, then they went right back their second year of engineering. Of course I first thought: bloody geniuses. But some cooler heads told me they wer…

with useless bios or hopeless/tryhard photos I've borrowed my (women) friends phones to look at other guys profiles and there is deluge of guys with crap photos, but what do you mean tryhard? I read an article analyzing the top Tinder guys profiles in an area and they all had model level photos. Do you mean swing and miss photos? Because actual tryhard photos (where you have been working out, have on nice clothes, a good pose, an impressive location and good lighting) get results.

It is a synonym for "you idiot!" and also a Lord of the Rings reference. https://youtu.be/0HPeNPOOamw?t=162

Ah yeah, that height is an important modifier. It makes things really easy with some girls. Good for you!

Girl here...there are a lot of women out there who actually aren’t that into the muscular look. When girls say this, in my experience they are more often than not talking about guys who roid or are at least close to their genetic potential for lean muscle mass. Most of us can lift hard 3-4 times a week (which is a lot compared to people who don't in terms of time and effort) and constantly watch what we eat, without ever getting close to that level in years. "But we do like when he looks like he…

I was working with lottery ticket level genetics Are you talking about your face? Because if it is that beautiful you might have been considered 10/10 by many girls even without gains. Or are you talking about muscle building potential? Because then other men can attain this with roids I guess. Or body/muscle shape?

I think this only works because it's like reading someone their horoscope or (even vaguer) cold reading. He is being super general and making everything sound like she is slightly awesome or unique. It might work for a lot of women, and especially if she thinks you are cute. I loathe bullshit personally, and if a woman loves horoscopes that is almost a dealbreaker for me. If I did The Cube on a girl and she was impressed, that would be a turn off to me. If she hated it that would be pretty attra…

I used to think that stuff was a little overstated. Like every guy in this club is wearing an untucked shirt, with the top two buttons open, and jeans. If I wear anything more out there I will only stand out in a bad way, as most of the girls here are ready to go home with a guy in a shirt and jeans. Then I dropped by a student club in my town on the way to a hat party where everyone should come in some sort of wacky hat. I was wearing what comes up if you google 'captain hat' for the party an…

To the people in this thread wondering what good Tinder pics look like, this is the best example I have found https://www.tinderseduction.com/best-tinder-pictures-for-more-profile-matches/ Basically work out, dress, and take photos as if you were a model. Sure you might not look as good as the guys in that link anyway, but you will still looks way better than most guys on Tinder. I say this as someone who has borrowed my female friends phones to swipe and see what other guys profiles look like…

Indeed! I am from Norway so it was big news here for weeks. Not sure about calling her a gold digger though, she was writing a report about the murderer (and how he built the sub and was planning on building a rocket or something) and had a boyfriend at the time.

WAATGM with private jet flight dates Losing 200k was stupid, but getting on that jet was insane. Getting on a private jet with someone is a huge risk even if you know them pretty well. They can land that plane anywhere. "Welcome to my cult 'Rape and murder city', nearest populated area if you try to escape is 1300km that way.". Small planes can take you to such remote places that it's really creepy unless you have some measure of control over where the plane will land. Some rando in Tinder wan…

Well then you have to come up with some better dialogue. At least it wasn't "I hate sand", amirite? Also it's all in the delivery.

For all the hate it gets (deservedly!) The Big Bang Theory of all things taught me how this works back when I was in middle school. In one episode not long after Penny has rejected Leonard for "being to smart" she starts dating one his colleagues who happens to be taller, better looking and also has way better conversational skills than Leonard. I remember the episode as showing how Leonard would talk to Penny about his passion for physics by going into long boring anecdotes about theory, but …
