Extremely high libido Don’t mind that one in particular, but Aggressive, assumptive behavior Competitiveness Being placed in a hierarchy I don’t want this behavior directed towards me, correct. He can find some other way to get that energy out like playing a sport.

Really because it didn’t save mine. Men in and below my league still expected too much from me and made the idea of being in a relationship with them too much of a hassle. It would’ve made sense if you were right and I was picking guys who are hot or obviously have good money, but that wasn’t the case. I kinda just gave up on dating and pretty much just said if the right guy shows up I might give it a shot again. If not oh well. It’s not worth it to continue trying.

True and I see your point, but it’s more out of necessity than design. If my future husband prefers that I stay home than work, then he has to pay my bills so I don’t starve. I could just continue going to work and paying my bills if that’s the preferred option, but there’s usually a good reason the opposite is preferred (you have a baby you have to watch over 24/7 for example)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/24 05:46 PM

Yeah but the terms aren’t “pay $X per date/hour.” That’s what sets it apart. I don’t expect my future husband to give me cash for sex. I’m pretty sure most marriages don’t either.

But I don’t want to open up my dating pool to passive men. I like confident and masculine men that go after what they want. It’s really hot.

The terms of prostitution are explicitly set always.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/24 01:04 AM

The sugar baby sets the terms before intimacy and the wife doesn’t. You need money to survive but that doesn’t mean there’s a set amount the husband needs to get intimacy from his wife.

But men aren’t a reliable source because it’s often difficult to pinpoint the exact reason a woman went for a guy because it’s usually a combination of factors. One guy might tell you that his girlfriend loved him for money when that was just one factor and she loved the way he treated her all the time, so the friend makes money and finds that it’s not helping him like he was told because it was too simplified. On the other hand if you have an honest woman in your life, she could give you more i…

Instead they get together because they want each other. That’s the better alternative. Love ideally wouldn’t involve necessity and instead desire.

Yes so men who want to use those services should just move to those locations instead of trying to ruin more locations.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 04:25 AM

Not at first glance no. But after getting to know him yes. I can’t really fall for someone off glance alone. I think I’m too anxious around strangers for that to be a possibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 01:43 AM

Yes but it’ll illegal at this point so the ball is in your park to convince people why that should change. You could always move to a place where it’s legal and work and pay taxes there.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/24 01:22 AM
1

Because we live in, work hard for society and pay the taxes so we get a say in what that society should and shouldn’t be like. I’m not living in and paying taxes for a place that allows prostitution. Period.

Yes and prostitution being a crime is what you get. You’re relying on enough people to vote to change that if that’s not what you want.

1)it’s exploitive 2) it commodifies sex. Instead of being about love and pleasure, it becomes a transaction for one side. 3)it increases the transmission of STIs that remain dormant for long periods of time. 4) It actively harms the local economy since nobody who wants to live normal life or one with young children is going to live in a locations where a bunch of drunk and high perverts are roaming constantly. Well an accident could junk your car anytime. If you know it’s reliable and you don’t care to keep up appearances, why not buy another like it? I think it lines up with the analogy well. You could get something much more expensive but more high maintenance or be grateful that a good quality car is available that you could use your money to improve.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 10:44 PM
2

Some rich people are content with a car that’s built to last. Just give it a nice coat of paint and swap out some parts for better ones and you have a good car on your hands. Even if I had money I wouldn’t give up my car. That thing is pretty great.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 08:17 PM

Why though? What if they’re attracted to her or like the way she treats them? Not everything is so black and white. I knew a couple where the guy married an average looking woman much older than him and he said she was much nicer to him than anybody else and loved him a lot so he fell for her. I don’t see what the problem is.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 08:07 PM

Frankly as a woman I don’t feel insulted by it. I take that as a compliment as long as they don’t say something inappropriate.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 08:04 PM

Another way to look at it is they swipe left on you because they don’t want to waste their time trying to get into a relationship with someone they most likely don’t have a realistic shot with. When I was doing OLD I would only talk to guys I thought I could actually get a date with even if there was guys who were much hotter messaging me.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 08:00 PM

They might seem that when they don’t know and trust you. People put on a mask in public and try to blend in.

Negativity can be amplified by online communities. Most people start out having reasonable levels of distrust and negative thoughts and then people find other people that seem to confirm their fears to an extreme level and they fall into a pit of constant negativity and anxiety. It happened to me too at one point.

Primarily if the guy is hot, but his behaviors and the way he talks about women are a giveaway. I don’t really care if he did that stuff but I need to know he’s actually ready to be exclusive and doesn’t just feel like he has to. I want a guy who feels very strongly about me and vice versa.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/24 01:34 AM

It is crazy, but it’s the same if a woman is married to a hot or super rich guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:23 PM

I only engage one at a time at least for relationship purposes. But he has to initiate the first time. I’ll take a more active role in a relationship but not while I’m single.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 11:20 PM

No it makes sense because a lot of marriages and kids in the old days would never have happened if the woman and her family weren’t worried about her financial future. I would even go as far as to say the majority wouldn’t have happened. Women by nature are super picky because of the effect of pregnancy and child raising on our lives. That’s nature and this level of pickiness exists in just about every species where the female sacrifices a lot to reproduce. It doesn’t make sense to say that we’r…

This! I don’t need grand gestures, I need someone who doesn’t make me feel like being with him is a job. It’s the little everyday things that are much more important.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/24 08:36 PM

Just being thoughtful in general. It makes a big difference when a guy tries not to make people around him uncomfortable.

I think the point of having them is that you don’t know because they won’t communicate their feelings to you. I don’t think I have any because any male friends I have are ones I made when I was a child. I quickly became aware of that possibility at puberty, so I didn’t really make any close guy friends after.

It correlates with having a lot of money or the potential to make a lot. This is less important when women make money, but it still hasn’t dropped entirely.

Prenups work when 1) you spend a lot of money on lawyers and accountants to make them as long, detailed and airtight as possible and 2) they cover assets that already exist So make getting married as expensive as humanely possible and make it a headache for the other person who’s also going to need to read all those documents when you could just not marry someone you don’t trust.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 07:24 PM

Depends on what for. I’d let my future spouse use my phone but if he’s taking time away from me using it because of a lack of trust, that’s going to lead to problems. Plus that’s an unreliable way of seeing if someone is doing something bad because they could just erase it all.

No, they’re specifically designed to keep you on there so they make good advertising 💸💸💸. Tinder and similar sites are the worst offenders since they require swiping to talk to someone. At least on different OLD sites you just message someone directly so it’s less of a waste of everyone’s time. But even then they purposely don’t give you good matches so you continue searching and they get their checks.

If someone is only showing you the best parts of their personality and self then it’s most likely a surface level view of who they are. Whether it’s romantic or otherwise, I get much more comfortable with someone if I can see what’s beneath the surface. However I would recommend not saying too much too soon as that could be seen as ‘trauma dumping’. If you’ve known/dated for a long time, it can help to slowly bring that stuff out and if she inquires for more you can tell her however much you’re …

If you want the answer to this question, ask yourself what an ugly or average woman can do to get a LTR with a man who looks like he’s been on steroids for years? There’s your answer.

I didn’t claim to have a thyroid condition. I just don’t think it’s a coincidence when even the healthiest women I know become overweight suddenly out of nowhere. Could be medication, too. Doctors don’t warn you about the weight gain and the pharmacy will list it as a possibility if they list it at all. But good on your uncle for having his thyroid problem under control.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 07:06 PM

Then go find a gf in a country where women are starving and malnourished. Big corporations in the US are allowed to put chemicals that prevent us from feeling full after eating so you can hardly blame the average women for being overweight. The only women I know who have an easy time staying skinny have hyperthyroidism or are part of a sport.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 05:45 PM
2

You said a lot to describe an incredibly rare woman. The first few are common sure but that on top of being beautiful and intelligent? Those two things are already rare on their own, not to mention together. Very rare so hypocritical. That’s like a woman saying she wants a hunk who’s over 6 feet and a millionaire.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 05:39 PM

Women don’t want to own property at the same rate as men? The other two examples I have don’t need a large number of women but would still benefit the wider population.

Men wearing makeup has nothing to do with how feminist a country is. Feminism is about female liberation, so a better metric would be rate of home ownership among women of the country, percentage of politicians that are women and whether women have been able to lead the country in its recent history.

This is why there should be equal amount of maternity and paternity leave to prevent stuff like this. Adding only maternity leave causes stuff like this to happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 01:55 AM

I don’t downvote or upvote anything, I’m just saying that you likely got downvoted a lot because you basically created an unrealistic list for the women. It’s hypocritical when men complain about 20/80 when yours is basically 1/1,000.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 01:49 AM
4

Because frankly you’re asking for a woman who’s less than 1% of the population. That’s a big list of stuff for one woman to have. I know plenty of women who meet maybe 60% of the list but all of them is too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/24 01:43 AM

Could be any number of things, could be securing a relationship, getting his money somehow, clout, etc. Point is it’s not always about enjoyment for many women who do take part and the stats show that women are less likely to get pleasure from casual than LTR or marriage, so that makes sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 06:07 AM
17

No sorry, my desire to have sex is not as strong and spontaneous as the average guy I’m afraid. Plus there’s other ways to scratch that itch that don’t put you at risk so what’s the point of casual for the average woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/24 05:46 AM
1

I’m sure there’s some who like casual for the sake of casual but from what I’ve seen, women who take part usually have some goal in mind and a way to get there. But otherwise, no the majority of women don’t want to partake in casual relationships.

The real difference is you can’t see a personality behind a screen so you filter for only physical appearance, but personality makes a big difference so OLD is not a good representation of what women like. Even if I’m attracted to you I have to like how you behave towards me and around me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/24 07:32 PM
1

No because that’s not how genetics work and it’s not all about appearances, the man needs to have a lot of patience, a strong sense of responsibility, be faithful, etc.

And a lot of them women would have found attractive if they had met and spoke to them in person. So why don’t they just try speaking with those women? Don’t get me wrong, if you find love in a different country then go for it. But I don’t think anything is going to change radically for the average guy to make it worth it to spend all the money and deal with the complexity of dating internationally just for the possibility of finding their ideal woman elsewhere. That only makes sense if your coun…

I agree but I think the entire society is going to have to restructure on the end if that’s the goal. Plenty of countries and cities have tried financial incentives and ones related to work-life balance, but those barely move the needle while making the locations overly expensive to live and work in. I live in LA county and we’ve seen plenty of incentives put in place to encourage people to build families, but realistically it barely moved the needle on the number of births happening. Bc and the…

A world where teenagers and women as a whole aren’t having kids when they don’t want to is better for everyone. If that means we might have to adapt to living conditions that went from baby boom (pre bc and women’s freedom) to a baby bust then so be it. Birth control doesn’t stop women from having kids, it just gives them the ability to decide when they start having them which is better for survival of the mother and her children. But that’s besides the point because it’s used as medication for hormonal disorders most of the time anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 06:56 PM

Probably. I’ve had very attractive men try to initiate hookups before while I was just walking or at the gym or just minding my own business in general. It doesn’t even matter what you wear and how you behave.

There is no "thinking" your way out of lacking leverage. Sometimes you will be left or betrayed solely because you lack it, and not because of tactical issues on your side. Sad that this is accurate. A relationship should be about working as a team not competitors.

Women who’ve made it to the 1%? Yes obviously by the very title alone it’s a rare portion of the population, but there are plenty of women out there who’ve earned a good middle class or slightly upper middle class lifestyle by making smart decisions and sacrificing when necessary. It’s not rare at all or statistically insignificant in the slightest.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 11:14 PM

Hell no I don’t want to be at a spot that many people are at. That sounds like a nightmare for anybody with really bad acid reflux or any food sensitivity.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 05:42 PM

Just because they’re a part of the 1% now doesn’t mean they always were. I know women who are smart and hardworking and are frugal or were frugal when they had to be. If you just meet women who just clean out the men they date to finance unnecessary purchases, you might want to expand your view a little bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 11:25 PM

I’ve observed this too. It’s like they think because she approached initially that she has no zero standards for his conduct or anything on his part. I think they just lose respect even if subconsciously.

Finding out I’m infertile. The pregnancy risk from sex is the primary reason. But even then I would have to have already developed a connection to the man, because I just don’t have a desire to be the one approaching/pursuing. It doesn’t feel natural. And that has nothing to do with whether I like a man.

Being able to directly communicate in your relationship is one of the most important things to make it work. Otherwise problems just never get solved and just get worse as time goes on.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 02:16 AM

No not really. I’ll have a kid if my future husband wants kids but to me it’s just too much cost for something that doesn’t really matter. Looking at the total mortality rate of malaria as an example, its a coin toss on who would survive once antibiotics stop working.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/24 02:11 AM

In some places if you’ve been living together or raising kids together for X number of years, you relationship is legally recognized by the jurisdiction you reside in. Civil unions are usually adopted in states or countries when there’s a bottleneck in the legal system because there are too many court battles between people who share property but didn’t get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 03:38 AM

Getting married is not petite Bourgeoisie. You’re not required to have a big extravagant wedding or any wedding for that matter. Most young people I know getting married have a courthouse marriage ceremony and that’s the end of it.

Because I love someone and want to spend my life with them so tying the knot just seems like the right thing to do. I’m also saving myself for marriage so I definitely want to get that out of the way soon. women who get married lose job opportunities, lose years of their life expectantcy, can potentially lose years of working experience, become extremely stressed from being overworked and drained, and more. It’s easy to say you’d take the advantages of dating as a women when you don’t have to live through to disadvantages that led to those benefits to begin with. If you had to worry about getting pregnant, it’d be a different story.

I’ve been a woman in her early 20s before so I can tell you that’s bullshit. Men only found a small number of women attractive. Let’s say you’re right though. That’s still a small percentage of the population of women that’s dwindling with time since there are less kids being born.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 11:15 PM

What percentage of the population are women who are in their early 20s, attractive and have the features men want (big boobs, big butt while being thin) and have pleasant personalities?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 05:51 PM

Women are honest about our preferences, men just choose not to listen to us and listen to the few women who say what they want to hear.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 05:48 PM

I’ve heard of women from older generations who deeply suffered and even outright died from health issues because her husband didn’t think it was important enough to pay for treatment or surgery. Even if you want to be a tradwife it’s important to have your own money in savings because you never know what emergency comes up that your husband can’t afford. Being able to get a job and pay for your own stuff helps you in so many ways even if you have a man you love and trust.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 12:15 AM

Because even if you support women making their own choices, some choices are objectively worse or riskier than others. They may feel like the decision is bad in general or know enough about the specific guy to know it likely won’t work well.

That’s a pretty good argument. I changed my mind about there being less wars then. When you’re hungry you’re very ruthless regardless of your gender. That applies in other ways too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/24 10:55 PM

Exactly, plus women who get with you out of financial desperation will act out on it too. That might not look too good in the long term.

Huh maybe. But I’m imagine a world like a beehive where the Queen has her female cohorts to influence her decisions. I don’t know if that would make a difference or if I’m just underestimating how ruthless women with power would be.

We’d probably have a cure for a lot of diseases and conditions that affect women more. We’d have less wars but the ones we do have would be more intense and last forever. Would tampons be free everywhere? Would there be toilets in public accessible everywhere? Would rape be punished harder? Would giving birth be safer? Yes. And women’s pants would have deep pockets.

Most lawmakers are men. When men want their own spaces they keep and maintain them. If women are able to infiltrate it’s because the majority of men in that space don’t care or even welcome it.

Nothing every advances and gets better when people can’t interact with who they want and need to. Plus people not interacting with the opposite gender is how we end up with entire communities of people complaining about not being able to get into a relationship.

I’m still pretty new myself, but a helpful tip I read is to try to imagine an object in your head and try to stay focused on that object. It could be something really simple you have lying around the house. It’s much easier to keep your head clear and to clear out any rogue thoughts since they make it difficult to focus on the object.

Because so many people need a good, licensed therapist. The difficult part is figuring out which kind you need. Some people will do fine just speaking with one, some people need medication and would be better off finding an experienced psychiatrist, etc.

Most women don't have rewarding "careers" that they're super-passionate about. Like the average man, the average woman has a shitty job. A below-average woman has an even shittier dead-end job (or no job at all). Honestly. Men think we’re all working in a high rise building for some mega corp making top salaries (lol salary) for our market. Hell those jobs are on the chopping block with the way AI is accelerating, so that reality is dying out entirely.

Having economic freedom doesn’t mean jackshit when you want kids. Marriage is a guy’s way of telling a woman that he really loves and trusts her and it’s better for women to have a kid for a guy who’s made a big commitment. Women with option and good self esteem don’t feel they should take that big risk without a marriage certificate. For women who don’t want kids, again it’s that statement of love and trust and the status that comes from being a woman married to a good man.

I agree as a person who’s never really like drinking but nearly everyone has some unhealthy tendencies including myself, so I don’t mind others drinking as long as they’re not putting others in danger. I don’t really like the idea of living somewhere that controls what people do without a good reason to.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 03:35 AM

Women want dominant men but don't want to be dominated. That seems pretty accurate. Women want someone who brings good energy home not a bad attitude.

Depends on what it is. Gaining a lot muscle definitely will. Getting a lot of money while not being attractive will bring a bunch of attractive women who will pretend to like you to use you for your money and a few will go way too far to do that like using the law in nefarious ways. Getting money as self improvement works if you’re at least somewhat attractive or average looking and aren’t aiming too high.

Would she even be able to? They’re all pretty much married. But assuming he’s actually single somehow and nice enough that someone working under him would want to tolerate him after their work is over, I don’t think she’d want the shift dynamic at home. There’s a reason an employer has to pay their workers to deal with their behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 02:15 AM

Well a large number of women are working exhausting jobs now. They’re imagining themselves going from their 8-12 hour shifts to their next shift at home instead of relaxing and trying to enjoy the rest of the day. Women aren’t exactly excited to just be working machines in every aspect of their lives and still being expected to be passionate and in the mood for sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 06:28 AM

This is something I really had to think about because the answer to everything else except for the life risking has always been a yes. But whether I’d be able to control my survival instincts is not something I can say for certain. I am willing to making sacrifices to better my life and those around me if needed though.

The first one. My preferences actually did change as I got older. I think that stems from experience in the adult world more than just wanting to get married. My preferences just shifting more based on which guys treated me better and were more easy going with me.

It kinda is but it’s more of those cases of “how in the world did you fall for that? Did you forget your glasses?” Lots of women enjoy how much better they’re treated by everyone when wearing makeup. It’s up to each guy whether he wants the artificial beauty or just find a naturally pretty woman.

I and a lot of people wish you’re right but unfortunately that’s just an ideal of the world we live in. The honest end up under a bridge and the corrupt end up in multimillion dollar mansions all the time. It’s why everything went terribly wrong in the entire world so quickly.

I mean yeah it’s nature, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of women who ask out men, especially now that we have ways of preventing pregnancy. I think their aim is to capitalize on that market. Nature wouldn’t apply as much unless your aim is to have a family with someone, the laws of nature would apply much more then since pregnancy hasn’t really changed much since the beginning of civilization.

This is a big problem in LA right now. A large amount of the highly skilled labor is retiring so they’re scrambling to train new people. They had someone young in the room for training when I went to the doctor recently. This is something I’ve never experienced in my area before. It shows just how bad the problem is becoming where they need replacements for those experienced specialists that want to retire but feel like they can’t.

I was sitting was a friends group where all our moms were complaining how boring we are and agreeing aggressively. /r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 06:14 PM

There’s also a large percentage of men who’ve never approached a woman before so that’s probably related. And honestly who cares? Dating in the teen years sucks. It’s so rare for those relationships to actually last that I’m glad I focused on my education annd friendships instead of wasting my time on something that was going to get me nowhere in life.

There is a reason that the marriage stats remained mostly unchanged for the rich despite seeing a sharp decline for the working class and those in poverty. And rich people don’t make decisions they don’t see as financially beneficial. The reality is that marriage helps. It helps the individual and it helps the family. I don’t mind going out to event with guys in the group but usually it’s them who complain about getting tired quickly while the rest of us are just starting to enjoy ourselves or the opposite where they walk much faster than the group tiring the rest of us too quickly. It’s often little things like that that make the night out less enjoyable, but at the end of the day most guys would rather hang out with their guy groups regardless.

Frankly I’ve had to put a lot of effort to not come across as flirty when I was younger because a lot of men see the signs of anxiety or nervousness as flirting. Do women just sort of go through life and instinctively know that eventually, a man will ask them out? Well “know” wouldn’t be the correct word since there’s no guarantee of that when you’re not that attractive. But I do live my life until a guy sweeps me off my feet. If it doesn’t happen oh well I’ll live the best life I can solo. Women do put a lot more effort than men on their appearance though as a whole so it’s not completely passive.

Because we don’t want the cost of everything to go up just so our taxes pay for the bad decisions other people make. When I make an expensive mistake I pay for it in full. Nobody gives me a break because I was young and stupid and not fully aware of the long term consequences of my actions.

Younger and more fertile women and men give off visual cues both from their body and behaviors as a natural signal. Scent doesn’t affect whether I’m attracted to a guy (except with cologne but that’s just from finding it pleasant). What influences that are cues from his appearance like a head full of hair, muscles, etc. and that goes the other way around too.

Obviously this is a bad idea in general, but something you’re not taking into account is that most men don’t want to get married young. I would know because I didn’t mind the idea of getting married young but men just didn’t want to until much later. That makes sense but there’s no way I’m having kids at all without getting married, so getting a college degree just seemed like the best option at the time since it improves your standing in the job market.

Most women I know prefer #1. He’s more humble and relatable which is pretty important in your day-to-day life. If anything UMC women are more likely to prefer #2 since they’re used to the personalities UMC men have and want the guy to help her maintain the lifestyle she got used to. This also doesn't match with the history of sexual revolution or modernity. The whole point of women having more sexual freedom was that you could engage in sexually liberated activities, like men do. The point of this change was to give women who want to take part in this lifestyle the option to do so, not to force it on the women who want no part in this modernization of relationships. Liberation also means that if you’re more comfortable being more old school, then you can continue. So please…

Being a good person with morals just gets you fucked over by society as a whole. The days when being a good person afforded you a decent life while the bad people had to reflect on their actions has long passed. There’s a good reason why society has been on a downward trajectory. Men are the ones who gatekeep marriage not women. From what I’ve experienced, the men women marry aren’t any happier in the beginning than the unmarried ones as a whole. They do gain a sense of purpose after getting married and usually having kids though, which might help improve happiness.

Certain careers deserve it though because they do help lift people out of poverty. Engineering degrees and the careers that follow have done that for so many. I agree that the average job sucks though and does nothing to distinguish itself from feudalism these days.

That really depends on how things started. If she just takes time to get comfortable then it’s probably true. If she expected to get nice things and dates from the beginning (not by the guy’s insistence but her own) then you’re probably right. The guy just needs to really think about what kind of woman he’s dating to figure that out.

That really depends. With strangers I take everything with a grain of salt and just leave that to the courts and the people they know. If I know the woman, it depends on the kind of person she is. If she’s someone who’s lied with malicious intent in the past or is a walking red flag again I take what she says with a grain of salt. Otherwise it’s a pretty high chance I believe it or at least wonder if I’m safe living in the same area as the guy.

The alpha male is just the father of the younger pups in the pack. Wolf packs are family units and it turns out parents create the house rules. It was never about a pecking order with strangers with the only exception being when a new male wolf enters the territory eyeing one of the daughters, but that’s just mainly how new packs are formed.

The feeling is mutual. I find people whose lives revolve around being active pretty boring.

A guy who doesn’t require self respect from the women he dates. I just can’t respect a guy like this and respecting him is a part of what makes me like a guy and want to date him.

It doesn’t make sense because you’re asking your committed spouse whom you chose to marry to be ok with taking this big risk without anything in return. What is he risking while she is risking getting a permanent STD and having to be entangled with a man who has another child outside of her family that she never agreed to, which has legal consequences. If she’s ok with this and if she’s ok having another woman’s kid in the mix then that’s on her to deal with, but if she didn’t agree to it, then …

Absolutely not. There would have to be chemistry between us for me to even entertain the thought (and if there is I already have lol)

20 years old. Old guy dating a teen would ring major alarm bells but anything after that is on her. If she prefers old guys for whatever reason, well it’s her choice to contend with.

That’s a good one. I can understand it in some situations such as with kids or property ties between them, but most of the time it’s just them being afraid of being alone. So they just spend all the time complaining about it instead of taking any sort of action. It’s exhausting to watch honestly.

Regardless they’re clearly bad parents. Raising a girl or boy isn’t that difficult in terms of difficulty. Something is very wrong if they think boys are easier to raise. Unfortunately I know that from experience.

Not communicating well. raising boys is slightly easier than raising girls. One mother put forth the argument that this is so because "boys are easier to understand. Ew. The only reason anyone could think that raising a boy is easier is if they’re not raising him right and just letting video games and social media do the work.

There needs to be more “problems”. I like having some eye candy around. Plus seeing guys rage after complaining that there’s no hot women around us pretty great lol

I think it’s a practical decision. That’s the reason I made that decision at least. If I’m going to bare myself and be in the most vulnerable state I could be in, it has to be with the most special person to me. I can’t see myself having sex in other situation.

That being said if you’re gonna beat the equality drum she should be accountable for cheating which she was not, as immunity from accountability seems to be a female privilege. Unfortunately cheating isn’t a crime in the US so nobody is truly held accountable for it.

Yeah I can’t imagine why he can’t attract the kind of quality woman he’d want to marry. What a stand up guy.

My future husband could get away with way more appearance wise than a stranger. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t try, but at that point the love I have for him would be enough.

Good as long as it’s not about building more of those towering dorm style buildings to cram as many people as legally possible in. Nobody wants to raise a family in one of those. People only really have kids if they live in a decent home with a yard with a good fence for the kids to play in. Sure some people are ok raising a family while living in squalor, but most people won’t have kids in such a stressful environment unless they’re one of those self-isolated religious communities who’ve never …

The best way to address the problem is to make it easier for your average everyday people to purchase single family homes with a lot of space to raise a family in. Nothing else will really be effective. Most of the solutions listed have already been implemented by many Northern European countries and they didn’t make a dent in the birth rate.

That’s really unfortunate because the point of these programs is to teach children responsibility and important life skills that they might not get any other opportunity to learn at an age where their brain is best adapted to learning them. It’s sad that they essentially eliminate a boys space instead of just expanding what they offer to the girls that join.

This decision was stupid, they should just change the Girl Scouts activities to all the ones the Boy Scouts do or create a mixed group or something. But there’s nothing wrong with there being a Boy Scouts.

No because wasting your time on men who aren’t right for you will make it more difficult to connect with the one who is. It’s better to work on improving yourself for when you meet the right guy.

Then don’t date women like this. At some point you have to ask yourself why you find women who are the opposite of what you said unappealing and what can be done about it. Because there are so many women who are nothing like this that it doesn’t make sense for you to never meet them.

I don’t really care, but I’m the kind of person who just wants a boring married life in the suburbs. Your mileage will vary depending on what you’re aiming for when dating.

California does promote joint custody so that seems like less of a problem here, hopefully at least I don’t have any personal experience to speak from since most people I know stick together and the few who don’t stick together divorce when the kids are adults. But the kid should spend time with both parents when they split imo.

if a ring, cake and a minister really changes how you treat me that much I'd honestly be kind of worried about the relationship. In a marriage I’d be fully invested in my husband’s future. If I did this without getting married first, I’d be taking a big risk and putting a lot of investment into someone without any sort of protections for me if anything goes wrong. Think about something like having a kid or quitting your job to take care of the household. Those are both big risks. I’d need to kno…

Honestly it’s mainly because women are seen as desperate when they approach. People view it as you not being attractive enough to get guys to approach you so you have to do the approaching yourself. I’m sure there’s places where it’s the norm, but where I live people see you as easy, masculine and desperate when they learn that you approached your boyfriend, especially if you come from a very traditional culture where the guy does all the approaches even after marriage (not that I’d take it that…

For people in western countries having kids has become opt in more rather than opt out. The primary reason is individualism combined with the ridiculous COL, however the invention of birth control and the legalization and ease of access to abortion helped too. Even if a woman chooses to have kids, the circumstances are going to look very different than a couple generations ago.

This entire discussion shows how insulated people are from nature. A better question would be would you rather be in the woods with a well known narcissist and convicted violent criminal or go camping in the woods during the end of hibernation season (I’ll spare the details of how that has gone for some people in recent times). But that would actually require some thinking.
