3	The Case Against Women on the Front Lines I can toss out all kinds of logistical reasons and practical reasons why women shouldn't be in the military, but the real one is that I simply will not allow my girlfriend to be in a dangerous situation. After this debate about women being drafted, I've never been more glad that my girlfriend would be prevented from going for other health reasons.
