| 1 | Will having kids without marrying each other be a more viable path in the future?True, one person can still receive something similar to alimony known as palimony despite not being married, but that requires setting the expectation that one partner will completely financially support the other. Like one partner becoming a homemaker for instance. This can easily be avoided by having both people work though.
