This needs to get talked about as well. I don't believe the media is inherently sexist towards men, I think it tends to cling onto the relevant subject at hand, and only that, without seeing any other side of the story. In this case, that would be the mistreatment of women in Afghanistan. Like I said, the media tends to pick one subject and not dare to engage in discussing a new matter as that wouldn't make as much revenue. Men's rights are important too. Equal rights means men's rights as well as women's. I'm just being equal and balanced in my views; something this sub lacks. If I browse r/feminism to then I have to browse r/MensRights as well, vice versa, in order to not become indoctrinated into either one's biases and skewed views. Both have them. This is one of them in my opinion. The women and little girls held captive by the Taliban and are treated as second class citizens compared to male ones.
