If you feel like you won after 5 years on some petty shit with a girl, I'd advise consulting therapy for trauma and harboring resentment. Like I'm happy you are feeling better? But you may have just developed coping strategies. Like you finding this onlyfans to justify yourself feeling better, this behavior is the definition of coping. You're not less of a man for working on your mental health, you'll be more of a man for doing so.

Men dont release fucktons of oxytocin when their baby is born, unlike mothers where the body not only uses jt for bonding but uterus contractions. So i assume dads would form more of their relationship from social bonding with the child.

The amount of people in this sub who bitch about shitty dating dynamics while also contributing to the bullshit astounds me. Seem like the types that dont want to take responsibility for their actions or own the repercussions of their behavior. If you are hiding a side chick from your 'main'(this is a gross concept) then that makes you a liar. Liars are shitty people. No woman or man wants to be with a liar. So my assumption is when people think and act like this its because they themselves are …

Seriously, the amount of nuanced detail people here think needs put into some parts of relationships are fucking rediculous. Id be exhausted by a partner if they constantly went over everything like this.

Does anyone in the subreddit actually date and have relationship experience, or does everyone just spin hypothetical scenarios of what they think dating is like? This isnt something you calculate. You dont need a spread sheet to assess work load. Keeping score in a relationship is by far one of the most toxic traits two can adopt. If you have the energy to do the dishes you do them. If you are working less help around the house more. Just throw that laundry basket in the washer, it takes 20 seco…

Go out and have fun with no intention of meeting women. Thats how you meet women. If you try to inject all these preconceived notions about how you should communicate with women then you are going to have a bad time. If you are having a bad time on a night out people subconsciously pick up on that. Couple that energy with trying to pick up girls and it comes off as creepy. Go out to see your favorite music, dance, have a few drinks, meet people(yes, some of them will be women), and let it happen…

Because casual sex doesnt explicitly leave people feeling empty. Most people love it, despite what you read on Reddit. Considering most of my friends from high school have only had 2-3 partners(this seems to be a norm everywhere) I dont believe most people will have the sexual experience necessary to make such a statement. If anything, its the relationships that are becoming hollow and empty. Interactions between people are summed up as memes and emojis. People are happy with instant gratificati…

Im not going to try to convice you that my way of living is correct. I definetly understand the flaws in my own logic. At the end of the day - Is a child better off in an orphanage where they will neglected or with a couple who genuinely cares for them, will provide for them, and give them opportunities they most likely wouldn't have otherwise and may be doomed to become a statistic if left in their circumstances? Circumstances will never be ideal to take on a child. Your own or otherwise. If i …

First off I love kids, I hate babies. The time investment that having a literal baby is too much to bare. I dont want to wake up multiple times a night to change shitty diapers and live a miserable, sexless life that leads to my health declining because i have no time for myself. My partner feels the same way. We have seen babies ruin all of our friends relationships with a pattern of things settling or friends finding new partners when their children are 5-8. Babies are off the table Now, in a …

This is me and my partner. We admit we are both selfish, have bouts of laziness, and would probably argue about who's turn it is to take care of the baby rather than just be good parents. If given the opportunity with the right circumstances, I'll adopt and give a kid a better life.

Not a single fucking thing in the world could convince me this was real. But i would go for it. You only live once. Might as well have crazy sex in the process. Especially if her relationship is cleared.

From my little study of anthroplogy, most indigenous cultures practiced monogamy. Its when pillaging tyrants get involved that 'polyamory' is introduced. But it isnt about love at that point and more about raping and pillaging.

Just enjoy your time with someone who you are mutually attracted to. That's it. I was homeschooled and had no problem with dating when I started working and such at age 17. Everyone I have dated between then and now has had a significantly higher body count than me. But that only matters if you let it. It's not like there is some secret technique you learn or your body count is an EXP bar in a video game - You treat women with respect, act in a way that also demands respect, and if it works out …

8-9. I am about to transfer to my 4 year majoring in neurosciences and molecular biology with minors in psychology and philosophy with a promising future in research ahead of me. I have never been happier. Lack of fulfillment. My view - Men derive pleasure from their success or fill the void with video games, drugs, or other bullshit to pass the time. The world is full of opportunity, but most men lack the drive and willpower to push themselves to their fullest potential and connect with their d…

She should be your wife or girlfriend, not your mom. Though I appreciate when the laundry would get done I don't think women should be responsible for their mans mess.

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with being self-serving as long as you do not hurt anyone. It isn't about fuckboy vs serious boyfriend, it's about doing what your divine inner self desires and following through with it. If it feels good, keep doing it. If it feels bad, time to end it. This applies to more than relationships. Just happens to be the topic of discussion. I really cannot stress this enough, no matter how much of a handle on the life you have it can be all be taken from you in an ins…

I've forgiven everyone at this point. Lots of therapy. In the process, I realized that I am not wasting my time with arbitrary rules of dating or in any aspect of our lives. Setting weird standards or pandering behavior that doesn't fall in line with what our divine selves desire. Life is too short to not enjoy yourself. Having lost and regained my health really showed me this.

Was sick for about a 2 years that stemmed from prostatitis I got from my partner who had an asymptomatic infection. This gave me a sort of trauma to wanting to have sex again. Then my Lyme disease got bad. Couple all of this with being molested as a child and sex isn't exactly a priority for me. I was dumped about a month ago with the whole 'I need space' routine. Said my lack of sex drive and stress of me being sick was part of it. She was the type to want sex all day if possible. When in the p…

The desire to have a partner is a natural instinct. How you go about it is a personal choice. General conventions of a relationship are the social construct. Marriage, dating, courting, etc. I don't believe polyamory is an instinct. If it were, a majority of people wouldn't feel guilt when considering sleeping with others and the act of polyamory would be more widespread. Most people I know who practice polyamory aren't in love with their multiple partners, they have a primary partner and sleep …
