Hahaha Ursula was based on a fat obnoxious cross dressing dude who was famous as a drag queen at the time. Go figure she'd clutch onto a disgusting masculine caricature of femininity like a drowning rat to a piece of driftwood.

Jack Donovan. He characterizes it as 'androphilia.' He criticizes effeminacy a great deal. His book, The Way of Men, is a must read.

What if male architecture students moved "boldly" and "creatively" in the direction of resurrecting past styles and building traditions? How cool would that be? The Renaissance was just a rediscovery and re-interpretation of past styles after all.

"Raising a family." If you look at the stats for how kids of single moms turn out, it seems that they're dismal even at that.

I would actually agree with this. The function of architecture should be to create spaces for human beings which are pleasant to inhabit and point towards the true, the good, and the beautiful. New urbanism, return to tradition, etc.

I'm not a fan of her. She's crass and not that funny. Her dog is annoying. Why should I care if she says the same things I've read elsewhere just because she has tits? Acknowledging red pill truths does not equal being attractive.

I don't think we could possibly learn anything from this woman that we haven't already heard from other self-entitled skanks.

If you have brothers and sisters, set the example by dropping everything when your dad asks you to do something. Spend more time with your dad. You'll be out of the house soon so it's a good idea anyways. Re-paint rooms, mow the lawn, work on cars together. Make it clear that you've moved out of childhood and you're occupying your father's male sphere. Back it up by being responsibe and dependable. Treat your mom like a woman i.e. be affectionate not confrontational. If she's being unreasonable,…

No it doesn't lead to a warlike government. Time magazine did a front page profile last year on the growing civilian-military gap. One problem is that so few members of congress have served, so they tend to give the pentagon everything they ask for. It's those politicians who are veterans who can exercise oversight over the military because they know it inside out. Also, they know the cost of war on a deeper level than any soft bodied politician in a pantsuit.

I think the real problem is women in the workplace. By doubling the labor pool, they make it possible for employers to pay lower wages; as the standard becomes the dual-income home, the living wage becomes a thing of the past. It makes it incredibly easy for women to price themselves (in their own heads) out of the dating market, contributing to hypergamous tendencies. It contributes towards economic inequality, because now the finite pool of high earners, instead of marrying down from time to t…

I've had that offer too. Reminds me of Heinlein's Farnham's Freehold. The main character's son ends up a "kept man" in a futuristic totalitarian society. Guess what happens to him? They remove his balls.

Okay yeah. You're right. Getting your ass grabbed is sexual assault, if you're a hair splitting bean counter. Is it really though? Are we really going to lump it in there with rape and use it a a statistical bludgeon? Let's apply out critical thinking a little more broadly and see if these standards themselves aren't completely ridiculous.

I thought you were taking issue with the religious aspect. Some RPers to tend bristle at any mention of religion and end up derailing threads. My mistake. Why not involve politics? The left in the United States is generally behind efforts which incentivize single motherhood, or prioritize college aid for women at the expense of men. Obviously when he says "evil incarnate" he's hyperbolizing in the same style as a women's magazine, but it couldn't be clearer that politics and public policy have a…

I didn't post the article. We also discuss the implication and application of those facts. Actually, most manosphere content is generated from writers' personal experience. Some of the manosphere is Christian. You can deal with it, or be butthurt about it. The second option is funnier for me.

It's not a statement of fact- it's tongue in cheek.

Honor is an exclusively martial, male virtue. It's also relational: it doesn't make sense out of the context of a group of peers who can hold each other accountable. It's only by extension that it applies to anything other than warfare.

You are a chump for tying yourself to just one woman who could take half your shit at any time because you married her. The only reason to risk/bear that arrangement is for the sake of kids.

No matter how alpha you are, inevitably, your wife's gaze is going to stray. It's going to happen. Now imagine if there was an imaginary, unreachable Alpha male, the biggest Alpha male in the entire universe actually. His representatives on earth are celibate and probably gay and your wife can go go spill her deepest secrets in the confessional to them and treat them like emotional tampons. Moreover, there's an entire community of people who would think pretty poorly of either of you for frivolo…

This is true. If your frame is strong enough, she's inevitably going to conform to some degree. Morality is a male construct.

Honor is something men owe only to each other. If I was fucking her with no intention of marrying her, I'd be dishonoring her father, because I've lowered the SMV of his daughter who he's spent a lifetime investing in. But I'm not fucking her, and I wouldn't even try unless we were committed, which I'm also not. With most guys I wouldn't care, because they're weak fucks who raised slutty daughters, but hey call me crazy I admire what this guy's built so I'm not going to be an ass. I've also made…

I'm really trying to stay cautious here, both in expectation management and in not wrecking things. I've had it with crazies, junior feminists, and even worse, the decently nice girls who are also high powered careerists. The M word doesn't even cross my lips until I've been dating for two years. Anyone who says good women aren't out there don't know where to look, or don't care to. "But if she's Christian she won't give you anal!" Who cares? If she'll cook and clean, smile at me after a hard da…

That's certainly true of pushing for sex before marriage with certain girls. Some girls are just prudes. For most guys it's just not worth the time. However, if she really is a virgin, she'll learn at a fast pace if taken to the marriage bed. Also, today's Catholics and some Evangelicals have a very open attitude towards sex within marriage, see for example Theology of the Body, which is kind of a guiding document for lots of young couples. If we continue, it will be worth it to push boundaries:…

I'm hoping to spark discussion and see if anyone has any similar experiences or thoughts related to not banging a woman (at least not immediately) with the idea of marrying her, whether positive or negative.
