You've got to remember that holding on to god and jesus is probably what got him through 24 years of wrongful imprisonment and how he came out of prison with such a clear mind. You have to find something to hang on to in prison and religion is one of the better choices.

Slightly funny, but it isn't appropriate for this sub reddit.

I'm still irritated that someone can get a harsher sentence for rape that for murder.

You don't have to go into trade to be useful. My mother got a degree in Landscape Architecture and my Grandmother got one in, well I don't remember the exact name for it but it was so she could teach music to kids. Those both sound a lot like the typical "womanly" things to do and are a ton more useful than a major in Women's studies. edit: conjugation error

then go on OKC and bag one of the thousands of under-sexed, not very attractive females that exist out there. I'm sorry what? The women in OKC can be HOT!!! I mean sure some are ugly but it is terrible to just generalize a whole city like that. I've been there plent....... I've been watching so much Basketball in the last few days I guess I didn't realize you meant OK cupid and not Oklahoma City. My bad.

We need that system. This is a rare case where ours would have been helpful but it is just that, a rare case.

Why do I read that? I stopped at about 5 tweets in because I just couldn't deal with the stupidity of it. It made me kind of depressed to see the boundless ignorance.

If you asked me would I rather be raped numerous times over the course of a week by my own father before it ended, or spend 5-10 years in jail and have a felony on my record, give me the week every single time.

as Hart_Les points out where he is, cunt is used and not thought to be THAT bad. Where I am, yes, yes it is just about as bad as the n word. It very much depends on where you live I guess...

Agreed, and then they should pay 1.5 million to the guy in damages.

There is a difference between war and crime. In war bombs are dropped. Innocents are killed. Entire cities are burned to the ground or wiped off the face of the earth but all in the name of a greater good/defense. In comparison a group of soldiers in a war zone, constantly paranoid that the enemy could be anywhere, snapping and killing a village of innocents, while atrocious and is to be condemned, is insignificant. This is not the same logic as real rapes/bigger problems happen so false accusat…

If I was given the option right now I wouldn't use it. Despite being a 17 year old boy girls don't seem to distract me that much. Sure I have the occasional thought but never enough to impair any other part of my life. However I wouldn't be opposed to using it if my libido started becoming a problem for me. It sounds like a great idea for a good portion of the population.

That's because it is the job of the writer to make the story, or rather the diction, dramatic.

No man in his right mind would commit rape. He must have had some psychological problems. What a poor guy. What sane, well adjusted man do you know that goes out and rapes two women? Only men do that? There is no man in his right mind that commits rape.

I think you suck it up. Other men have actual problems.

I agree hole heatedly. If I found out for instance that a major company was discriminating against women or men to the point where it was blatant hatred for whichever gender. I would just never buy their products and they'd never get the best workers.

A guy that likes to watch My Little Pony. It's quite freaky how many of them there are. I hear its a good show though so I'm not going to judge... not gonna judge.... not gonna judge...

The point they were making is that because the girl wanted to be initiated into the gang and/or fears for her life if she says it wasn't consensual they can't call it rape. Later in the article it goes on to say that they can get those guys on other charges anyway.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
