But she isn't trying to use the fact that she is a woman to get away with it either time? More of a r/Karens

Yeah totally possible! Everyone's situation is different, some have two parents with lots family support, and others raise kids all by themself!

I feel this completely. I'm honestly more libertarian right, but I like to broaden my opinions by considering both sides, and this sub does share incredibly valuable stories/opinions/resources. Men's rights advocacy is NOT a left/right specific topic.

I kinda read it like she hasn't 'stress' aged like a lot of parents (male and female) as raising kids is presented as stressful (not a parent here so idk). The 'indeed' looks to be op confirming the opinion of the og post that she looks young. Not saying you're wrong, but for me it read completely diffently and before ya call them out should consider different perspectives.

Here in Aus, the base model Samsung s21 is $1,099 and base model iPhone 12 is $1,349. What are you even referring to?

Not at all, it's the advocating for women's rights on a basis of equality, coming from the past where women didn't have some of the rights they have today. The Oxford definition is as follows: "the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes."

Out of curiosity, why do you choose the feminist label over egalitarian? From my understanding the main difference (in definition, not practice) is that a feminist specifically advocates for the rights and issues of women (similarly, MRA for men), while egalitarian advocates for both. I'm of the opinion that men face disproportionately more prevalent and critical issues than women in current western societies, yet I still identify as egalitarian because ideally I would like help with issues rega…

This is something I think she should have talked more about in her talk, she sort of mentions it but doesn't talk of the extent. I mean I'm glad that some people are at least acknowledging that men have serious issues that should be brought into the conversation, but still 3 years on the only people that can talk about mens issues and be taken somewhat seriously are women because of how feminists and the media treat men's rights activists.

You should also check the definition for 'Manosphere'. It says people from men's rights movements are "associated with hostility towards women, online harassment, mass shootings, and radicalising men into commiting violence against women". Absolutely disgusting that Wikipedia protects this blatant sexism.

I'm not the most articulate, so I didn't mean to come across as mad. I guess it's a personal preference that if the other party is looking for me to show why I deverve their presence, I loose interest. I get that it's a joke, but it's a joke that Insinuates this. I know my worth and understand the thought process, but the joke comes across as overly conceited. Especially when it's the first contact.

I think you miss the point though... Coming into the conversation putting herself above him.

Personally I'd be more concerned about her inflated ego, having 'application requirements'.

I would ask for sources, but even given benefit of the doubt, without context neither of these show that the sub is full of either?

Show me either? It doesn't allow either and Ive been in it a while and haven't seen any?

Notice how I referred to groups I've seen and not my own personal opinion? You are quick to accuse me without first even considering what my opinion may be. I agree with you that sexual power imbalance is definitely one of the many issues men face. But you should be more careful with your aggressive accusations. I don't think you have the constitution to even imagine, let alone go through what it takes in order to implement the second And you know me well enough to make a judgement on my constit…

Most men's rights groups I've seen don't tolerate any restriction/oppression of either gender and focus on speaking up about the many issues men face. /MensRights mods here on Reddit don't tolerate any form of toxicity and posts that contain any are removed quickly.

Except multiple of his exes testified that he was always gentle and never abused them, and that in times of conflict he prefered to walk away than get physical. You are right that we can't 'know' for sure. But there is a lot of evidence to suggest he isn't an abuser.

Hey! Don't know much about you to compliment on! But from your post it seems like you are studying engineering! Getting into engineering is an achievement and a lot more than a lot of people achieve! So good job! Also happy cake day!
