Being stolen from can absolutely be traumatising and emotional. I remember watching a documentary of a guy who had been burgled while he was in the house and for a while afterwards he was terrified to answer the door or even go outside because he was worried it would happen again. If I find it, I’ll post the link. Being raped would be horrifically traumatising, but so too being stolen from can be extremely upsetting and leave people with psychological problems and trust issues

I really don’t like my sister. She’s extremely manipulative and narcissistic and I’ve often thought she might even have psychopathic traits. Once my mother was choking on her food, so badly she was crying and had a terrible look of “I can’t breathe” on her face. I was a few seconds away from getting up and doing a Heimlich manoeuvre, while my sister sat there laughing at how “stupid” my mum’s face looked. Yeah, she’s a bitch alright.

I know women are favoured in employment and education. I still don’t see any of the “many studies” you claim to have that support the idea that there is now more racism towards white people than there is blacks, a few links would be nice. If black individuals are more likely to find themselves in poverty than whites, then that would seem to suggest that societal institutions are still biased to be in favour of whites. Black people being forced to commit crime because they live in a society that forces them to turn to such alternatives is still racial inequality. I’d be interested to read the studies you mention though

I’d take future economic security over being able to change a few laws I don’t like. Though the truth is, even outside of the EU people like me and you are going to have very minimal effect on the laws in place in this country, but again I don’t see that as holding as much importance as ensuring our country doesn’t completely collapse anyway

I’m voting liberal Democrat which is basically the UK’s centrist party. I hate the “straight white males are the scourge of the Earth” narrative that comes along with the lefties, but I also hate the bootlicking sentiment of the right, where they seem to think it’s okay that so many people suffer in poverty while a tiny proportion of people live in mass excess. I suppose the issue here is some people may feel as though they are unable to say no or walk away from the situation because of mental health issues or other problems.
