I don't have any books, but as a guy that was raised by the 50s generation, I at one point for myself in much the same place as yourself in terms of not knowing how to take care of a house. I was single for a long time and didn't do things properly. Through experience, you will learn more than anything. Things like cooking and cleaning come as part of the habits you start making. I'm not a wife but rather a boyfriend, but I do know of another great book that I really like. It's called 8 Dates. You should check it out. Can definitely help rekindle that flame and does wonder at spearheading good communication

I see. Yeah, from a guys perspective, if you aren't undermining him and are kind of following his lead (at least at times and when he is being a good leader) the. I'd say you're doing the right kind of things. From my own experiences and from what I understand, we as men have to kind of lay down the gauntlet in terms of earning that respect or that attraction and dynamic won't happen. Well, first thing is first, if he is more codependent, the answer is more self-love. This might involve therapy. That will make him more "alpha" to some extent. More self-confidence, etc, but he'll have to do the work. But chances are he'll never be some kind of person he's not. Personality can change over time, but it's not like he's going to have a completely different one one day.
