as a mom, are you willing to let go of the control and let your husband do these things, even if they are done differently than you would do them? if they aren't done "perfectly" or how you would do them, are you willing to overlook it and not hold it against your husband? Many women cannot.

If both work and make around the same amount, is it reasonable to split the bills and housework 50/50, or do you feel the man should be doing more? I hear complaints from women about “50/50 men.” Whatever that means

Until The Left addresses mens problems, we’ll continue losing young men to right wing grifters and social media influencers like Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, and Fresh and Fit. They’ll be gone forever, and they actually won’t benefit.

Let me remind people that porn is made by consenting women, especially with the rise of OnlyFans. For many they make a living doing it and love it. That’s your fellow women. And there is a whole movement by women to normalize and encourage sex work. Where is the hate towards these women?

I wonder if many women don't give out compliments to men because many men misunderstand this as sexual interest. Women are better at supporting each other and give each other compliments. I think it is a type of mirroring-- because women seek compliments from other women, they assume that men lift each other up (they don't). Furthermore, many women may think that complimenting men gives off "pick me" vibes. And lets be real, many men view compliments with skepticism. "What does this person want …

Well this is a hot take Half of American workers make $35,000 or less. Do you suggest that women only seek the top earning men, and the rest of the women remain single when the top earning men run out? Are you suggesting that a large group of your fellow women simply remain in poverty, or should rich men take on 2-3-4 or more women to support? Your math doesn't check out.

I think most relationships start with a natural flow of getting to know each other and that leads to sex. I don't think promiscuous sex is as frequent as some men think it is-- as has been said here, there are too many risks for women. The women who do have sex without dating, many knew the guy anyways and possibly end up together afterwards. Certainly happens that way in reverse in college where you all live in the same building. I am not so sure its a game of 3D chess where women deliberately …

Yes! Once the motherly instinct kicks in, the sexual attraction leaves.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:34 AM

You are right. The default position should be to keep it to yourself or find another outlet. Women say they want a man who expresses their feelings but their actions say otherwise. The sexual attraction will go right away.

An increasing number of people in the US believe sex work should be legalized, but it’s not driving a culture where you would be shamed for not dating one.

Women are more social than men and confide in their friends more. So you have the good and the bad, bad being gossip. Women are also more sexually liberated than previous generations so there is more sex talk as well. Be prepared as a man because it’s likely your mate will talk about your relationship and sex life

i've read articles, written by women of course, saying men need to pay for dates because of this as well as the sexual violence, men are serial killers, and risk of pregnancy https://www.michigandaily.com/opinion/columns/heres-why-men-should-still-pay-for-the-first-date/
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 06:28 AM

Dudes just need to accept that paying for the first one or two dates is the cost of doing business so to speak. I mean, if you have to justify it in your head the woman has to pay to get her nails done, new outfit, time to get ready, etc. But women also need to know that constantly getting used as an ATM is really tedious and tiresome. Once you are exclusive both parties should be ready to pay at least proportionate to income and have outings within your budget.

If everyone just pursued their looksmatch from Day One of dating, the world would be a much better place. Everyone would be getting laid, depression would be at an all time low, and this subreddit wouldn’t even need to exist. We might even solve the housing crisis.

If you’re willing to provide and already planning to cover the bill, why do you want women to offer? because it is a kind thing to do. Like I said I am prepared to pay for everything. But if a woman just expects that, and doesn't even offer to pay for the tip or parking or the one of your drinks, doesn't that speak to a sense of entitlement? Say a friend asks you out for dinner. Aren't you going to at least offer something like that? you also said "a true provider doesn't require women to pay fo…

Can’t speak for other women but I prefer low effort dates, nobody wants their date stressed out or having to splash out to impress you. Granted what I said was pretty anecdotal, but look at ANY men's magazines, women's magazines, articles about dating, shitty PUA stuff, dating coaches, etc etc and they ALL recommend short initial meetings. From the shitty "red pill" perspective, which occasionally presents some helpful advice, a short date creates a "manufactured time constraint" where you get i…

you can do a "pricey long date" for date 2, 3, or 4. I think "going out for dinner" is pretty low effort and it's a cliche. It demonstrates zero creativity. Women get asked for dinner all the time. If the initial meeting goes well, you can extend the date right there on the spot. You can set up the second date at the end of the first one. I think the details matter more. Like driving TO her instead of making her drive. Doing a little bit of research on unique places to meet. Giving options. I th…

1 or 2 hours tops. They either need a second date to find out more about you, or you leave them wanting more. Also cheaper. Neither of you are trapped into a long date. No one wants to be locked into a 4 hour date with someone they don’t like. You don’t need to talk about everything under the sun. It doesn’t become a job interview. If the date flops, it would have flopped anyways on a longer date. Planning an expensive first date indicates you are trying to win them over with money. Leaves a sen…

This is how it should be. You pay proportional to income. The higher earner still has more disposable income. If you split things 50/50, one partner could be paycheck to paycheck and the other hoarding money. This is how it ended up with my wife. We are headed for divorce. Funny thing is, I supported her when she was buried in student debt. Me supporting her career financially led to her being a higher earner. I am getting completely hosed financially. And the idiots in here want it that way. Cl…

Masculinity isn’t incompatible with leftism. I mean… in the progressive media space alone we have good role models like Cenk from the young Turks, hasan piker, Kyle kulinaki… there are a lot of traditionally masculine men on the Left. Politically there are guys like John Fetterman and Richard Ojeda (not progressive on all issues). Shouldn’t pigeonhole ourselves, there are plenty of masculine Leftist men.

There is also that "alpha fucks beta bucks" mythology that they've created for themselves. I think that comes from a fear that they will be used by the single mom for their wallet and "resources" as they say, like a roof over her and her children's heads. There is also the fear that their sex life will be crap from the get-go because the single mom will be too stressed out to give them sex. Then they generalize it to all women. There are certainly dynamics where these things can be true for *som…

Many single moms who are dating have a policy of "my kids come first," and the men dating them feel like they will always be on the back burner, and never be a priority in the woman's life. They think that they will basically get the scraps. This is almost identical to how some married men feel like after their wives have children. The priorities become kids, their family, job, their extended family, pet, and THEN finally the husband. They are also afraid that the single mom will be with them ju…

No, when we say "thin" it is shorthand for "not overweight or obese" lol upwards of 65-70% of Americans are statistically overweight. I agree with your definition of a "normal" weight woman. Let’s be real here, being tall is an advantage in the dating market as a whole, all other things being equal. I can see why shorter fellows get down in themselves. I’m 5’10” and relatively secure about my height. But women as a whole will reject a shorter dude right at the onset as compared to a taller dude. Exact same thing with dick size. And yes I know “not all women are like that” but let’s be real, taller height will get you farther in the dating market.

2, maybe 3 kids, with none on the way. I know her and she would actually be datable if it wasn't for the kids. She's a cool girl personally--- she's not insufferable like many. She's one of those women that has a really strong reaction after a breakup but levels out after awhile, and repeats the same cycle.

Some women refer to stretch marks as "tiger stripes"-- as in earning your stripes after having a child. Large women and those who have had kids... ehh there is such thing as a pregnancy fetish! Never met someone who had one though

"I'm fat and I have stretch marks" is she underselling and she'll over deliver?

It is just astonishing to me how a woman will try to get out and date when she's carrying a child. She's on the rebound, she can't keep her baby daddy around (or made a poor choice of a baby daddy), and is fucking around with OLD when she should be focusing on the well-being of the child. So many layers of problems here... Not to mention. She's setting herself up for getting plowed by a dude while another dudes spawn is moving around inside her. That's just weird for all involved.

If she's a single mom who drops money on boudoir pregnancy photos ($1,000 plus) you are goddamn right she is going to spend your money!

I used to live in Scranton. A six in NY is actually a 9.5 in Scranton. They are giving Scranton too much credit!

"I'm not looking for anyone to fix me" = I am very much broken and I'm not motivated to change that. Accept me as the broken person I am!!

"some people aren't attracted to smaller girls" she's being all too kind. I think it is pretty well known that the general populace of men are not attracted to "bigger" girls.

my wife has two masters in education and takes on so much at work that she is hardly home-- kids get put on the back burner, I get put on the back burner, she's wiped out and doesn't even feel like putting away her own laundry, and she's temperamental. Long story short, if you are with someone who is constantly striving, it comes with a cost.

If everything is on the up-and-up when you see each other face to face, it is probably all good. I wouldn't play any games, but maybe try to reel it in a bit. I do think one person in a relationship does more of the work and maybe you are in that position. She might think the relationship is going well, so she is just secure about it and is going about her way?

anymore I don't think it matters to most men, especially younger men. I think they are numb to it. Most college age men and older know that most women who are at least somewhat attractive will build up a huge body count and do the OnlyFans or Instagram slut thing. In today's economy a ton have done Seeking Arrangements and other sugar daddy websites. The men know whats up and either turn a blind eye or carry that resentment towards the woman. But if they want to have a relationship they have to …

Only 14.5% of American men are over 6 feet tall. Consider that most of these men are out of her league, married, or not in her age group, she might as well make a trip to the SPCA now.

only 10% of American men are over 6 feet tall. only 1% of men are over 6' 3" She is off to a terrible start. With those requirements, she literally is shooting for 1% of men. AND MOST OF THEM ARE MARRIED

you're not wrong, but it is refreshing to see men who do well at their jobs in the nursing, teaching, and human services fields-- jobs seen traditionally as woman dominated fields

9% of the US population makes at least $100,000 a year, and let's assume 5% of them are men. So we are at 5% of men already, and we haven't even TALKED about marital status, sexual preference, age, dick size, height, if they live in their area, etc. And attraction is a two-way street- the man or woman has to find the other attractive as well. Maybe they want an equal who makes six figures as well? Not a lot of people make 6 figures in the United States.

I think the guy should pay for the first 2 or 3 dates and after that the woman should be asking to see the man again-- if she isn't asking, she's probably not very interested. at this point I think dates should be split, or alternate who pays. I do think the guy should be prepared to pay at any time, but if he can't, choose dates that are cheap or don't cost anything. If she's interested she should be asking by the 3rd or 4th date, and if she's invested enough she should at least offer to pay. I…

A ton of women on FDS have been burned hard by men and many abused. But they are in the wrong sub for that. In my view, they are going to have a very hard time dating until she somewhat resolves those issues. Their Handbook has some good sections that a man can read and apply to "worse case scenarios" in dating. I did like the section on "what makes a high value male?" because it outlined traits a woman in the dating scene looks for. What bothers me most about the sub is that they do not take th…
