In my experience, my close male friend group got infiltrated by one female that my best friend was attracted to and hard simped over. The solution ended up being all of us ignoring those two until eventually my best friend got his head out from so far deep into his ass when he finally realized she had negative interest in him and was just attention whoring like most "e-girl" do. There are no female gamers, and I mean gamers in the 4chan sense ;)

From a Christian perspective: He shouldn't expect a perfect wife, his past clearly indicates he is not perfect you're right that a subsection of men will hold a double-standard when it comes to repentance for promiscuity and hope for a reward due to such repentance (usually in the form of a faithful, virginal spouse) said subsection of men who hold such double-standards are almost invariably always non-Christians or lukewarm Christians trying to hijack the LORD for their own lustful or hateful p…

I think you need to open up Scripture and reflect on this answer brother. I understand the frustration of the duality of many of today's modern women (not all mind you, but certainly a vast majority), including those in the Church, but this answer reeks of a horrific, secular mindset regarding sex. That's all, I don't want to nor can I debate in this subreddit.

It is wrong. It is fornication. Neither the "worker" nor the "customer" should be glorified.

An inch or two sure. a foot over me I've only ever seen like once or twice in my life and I probably wouldn't be attracted it. It's really not something I care that much about. I care more about women taking care of themselves physically more than something they can't really control and which usually doesn't mean much to me. I'm 5'9 for what that's worth.

What is being emotional without being passive and feminine? I can only think of rage. Unless someone a man loves is dying or something, there's no need for a man to allow himself to break down.

Yeah the overall population is increasing too. The next logical question is what is the time scale you're using for % increase in male population with degree. You wanna go ignore and misrepresent while claiming others do the same? At least provide a source.

Yes, how can there be a breadwinner if the two don't share a house and break bread? It's a foundation of lies and they may as well be two strangers that maybe occasionally talk or have sex if at all. If there is animosity between the two (which is likely the cause for separation in the first place), then it's probable that neither has any desire to spend money on the other. Therefore, it is impossible for either to win bread for the whole.

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a rad…

That's obviously not your fault and moreso the fault of cultural acceptance of separation and the limited amount of data collection we have here in the States about this stuff.

IDK, in my college the incoming freshman class is over 60% female. Granted a lot of women go into shit-useless major paths compared to the ever-shrinking number of men, but still it's getting lopsided.

Sure, a lot of people separate before actually getting divorced. Hence why I was curious as to where the stat came from. And the Census can be answered as the recipient practically pleases, so a scorned male or female that's still married but not living together can answer accordingly.

I met a girl like this. Her past was a revolving door of boyfriends, and she would basically just affirm anything I say. She was somewhat attractive but I couldn't go near her with a 10 foot pole. Maybe that's just me.

Yeah but it's arnie and she looks like a potato. If scales matter to people, how does that happen. And class too, the class difference in that case is also obvious.

Why did Arnold have an affair with his maid? And if the idea is to play the game of using a scale, I doubt she weighed heavier than a feather on it.

Maybe, but my mother is a saint and I love her such that I'd rather the world burn before harm come upon her. I think she ensured at the very least I won't do half what my dad did. Granted this is a thread about male figures so enough of that.

Nope. Just wasted money. We already have plenty of studies that showcase the more freedom given, the more men and women gravitate towards fundamentally different career options. We see it in the Scandinavian countries, and now they're implementing bat-shit retarded policies like demanding certain positions be some arbitrary percentage of women. There are some polls and general studies IIRC to suggest that women have been getting unhappier from the 70s onwards at the same time that they've been…

Again, to reduce the premise being discussed to simply marital rape is STUPID.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 07:33 PM

I think a large thing to factor is that in more communal arrangements, pressure is applied from throughout the community to keep marriages together through tough times. It's incredibly easy to get divorced today than it was back then. When you couple that with the fact that men tend to lose hard on divorce settlements, you also get a lot of men opting out. This completely removes kids from factoring in divorce or staying together. Whereas in communal settings, communities with an obligation towa…

Oh yes I'm sure. Before the late 20th century, it was all just rape and pillage. Yeah I'll take that seriously. There are so many confounding variables that to reduce it to that is downright stupid.

> they just might not be as high value as when they were 20s. And the problem comes when they still have standards as though they were in their 20s. I don't think the wall means that women become completely and utterly hopeless. The wall, at least to my understanding, deals primarily with older women who refuse to recognize that they need to lower their standards to some degree because they chose to wait so long to settle down. The problem is these women sometimes upwards in their 40s complain…

Well now we're on the same page. I have no need for the nuclear family which is a uniquely modern institution. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. should all have a stake in bringing a child up. As for that sketch, I haven't seen it, but I wouldn't give a sketch less than a few grains of salt.

It's a statistical reality that women took on the majority of childcare and household tasks for nearly all of human history and people were still getting it on enough for many families to have 10+ kids when everything was all said and done. If we want to talk about the failings of modern marriages, I'm totally fine with that, and I think a lot of that stems from uniquely modern developments not related to simply household division of labor.

And why would a guy stick around for nearly 2 decades to be genetically cucked to some other guy's kids? See my comments with another user further below in this same thread. We hashed out serial monogamy and polygamy in hunter-gatherer tribes.

Eh. I learned from my father by understanding what I SHOULD NOT do in a healthy marriage. Given the state of modern families and the stupid amounts of for example single motherhood and abusive relationships, my assumption is that many of my young peers are in the same camp.

Always hard to define. Generally I think a good male figure for boys (I don't care to answer for girls, the women here are probably better suited for that) is anyone that possesses great strength mentally and physically but understands how to use it for good and not tyrannically. An economically successful man that doesn't pray upon others financially. A physically strong man that doesn't bully others. etc. Basically, a potentially dangerous being that understands how to channel themselves posit…

Have you read the comment I was replying to? They're talking about a potential biological issue of hormones post partum. I understand you seem to have some kind of hatred towards men. I don't really give a shit.

Where did you get that statistic? We do know that everyone on earth has about twice as many female ancestors than male, but that's nowhere near 17:1 And no serial monogamy does not support your point. I don't mean to sound rude, but it sounds like you have a skewed definition of serial monogamy. serial monogamy common in hunter gatherers seems to look something like this: a couple pair bonds, they have children, they raise the children together and in a monogamous relation for WELL OVER A DECADE…

You have to actually read it. Pair bonding and breaking up when the kids are sufficiently grown (keep in mind that's younger than 18 in these societies, way younger) IS SERIAL MONOGAMY. SERIAL MONOGAMY =/= POLYGAMY. The study explicitly states that polygamy is RARE.

In the short term, but something is wrong with a woman if having one kid shuts them down permanently. Humanity didn't get to where it is today by women having just one or two kids, but rather, by them having quite a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 03:44 PM

If women have children with different men, they're also less likely to have any of those men stick around to raise kids they obviously know are not theirs. Where's the incentive for a man to raise that which isn't his? You're looking at this from solely a female perspective as if men are just OK not passing down their own genes but being a cuck for some other man that didn't even stick around to raise his. From what little we have, no hunter gatherers are not promiscuous. https://royalsocietyp…

She could also get more genetic diversity by just having more kids with the same man... Genetic pass-down is highly randomized between a couple, hence kids look different, grow up different, etc. Mothers and children do better with stability. Otherwise hunter-gatherer populations that we've studied would have everyone being promiscuous and polyamorous which ISN'T what we've seen.

>In culture where... Yes, bring back extended family culture and the Bible. Modern society will only leave the majority of women single mothers to the detriment of themselves (in all ways, not just sexually) but more important than them to the detriment of the children. The nuclear family is a lie: aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. should be in a kid's life.

Male, just turned 22, single, devout Christian. Unabashedly redpilled (kind of goes with being a Christian). My favorite thing about PPD is just seeing the different opinions here and the extremes of degeneracy that some posters state with presumably a straight face. It's kind of weird, because I've been approached by a few girls before, and as a young guy with a lot of testosterone it's really hard to resist with how girls can be these days (one girl gave me her number and when we hung out once…
