The human psyche can not form strong bonds with people they never meet. A videogame tribe is not really a tribe for the vast majority of humans. The Native American tribes functioned where every member was a valuable and relied upon individual. Ex military men have a high rate of suicide and depression because they lose their tribe once they leave the military.

Great points. I guess I just see a few too many "play videogames by yourself" posts on these subs so I thought a core tenet of MGTOW was one of isolation. This doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for the thoughtful response.

I don't think MGTOW is barbaric. I don't even disagree with most of your points, but I do see a certain amount of endorsed behavior that I think is unhealthy for the vast majority of people out there. Specific philosophies are nouns too going by your definition.

I love this response but I disagree with many of your points. I see numerous posts on MGTOW propping up this idea of staying home by themselves, playing videogames, saving money on a Friday night. This isn't a recipe for happiness in my opinion but it's one the MGTOW community endorses for some reason. You question that we've evolved to rely on one another?
