I get that it’s so much easier, but I have had to end convos / reject a lot of people in the past 2 years or so (in person and virtual), and it is SO much better to give them an honest response. When someone gets ghosted, their mind goes wild. If you simply explain “hey, I loved our convo, but I do not see this going anywhere. I just don’t have that spark I’m looking for”.
