Possibly because different voices are using the terms currently. Athol Kay uses alpha and beta as traits associated with attraction and comfort building and tours then to biochemical markers. So you don't have an alpha male, you leave a make displaying alpha characteristics. Vox Day has a fat more complicated social hierarchy that primarily is used to describe makes as relate to one another. Many RP blogs just stick to Alpha (winners), Beta (runners up), and Omega (losers). And don't get me star…

You might want to contact a doctor familiar with NaPro technology. They don't do invite but they have a very good record of dealing with fertility to achieve conception naturally in many situations. Also, one of our moderators, RedPillWifey, has talked on her blog about PCOS which she has. So far they have 3 children. Depending on the actual condition, it may be treatable with drug or dietary intervention, at least to achieve a few pregnancies. If it's structural, that is obviously different, bu…

Margery, my thoughts exactly on her reaction. Perhaps she's not viewing this with the same degree of finality? Or doesn't have the sense of "deal breaker"? Her apparent complacency may be either that she figures she will just need to bear them soon (as opposed to "I may never have kids, ever...sob.") or she isn't clear that this is in fact relationship ending. It would seem strange if neither is the case.

I second hateCaptchas on a second opinion. Particularly on fertility issues. The existence of the pill has made treating "female issues" very one size fits all and treatment and research have been neglected because of this. NaPro technology has done wonders with conditions like endometriosis that get ignored by other professionals. And I've heard of "incurable" conditions like PCOS responding very well to dietary intervention. If this woman is such a good fit otherwise, it would seem rash to not…

It's worth keeping in mind that these reddits tend to be self-selecting, not random samples of the population. A lot of men find the red pill after they've been burned by women, and that does shade their experience. The quick answer is that all women are hypergamous, but not all women act on that instinct in the same way. Only a percentage of them will cheat physically, another percentage well be emotionally unfaithful but not act on it, and another portion will turn into nags...but all if this …

The weight gain is a feature, not a bug. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/11528356/ For women who have always been lean, moderate weight gain postmenopause is protective for some diseases.

I'm 5'4". My husband is 5'7". Hasn't been a problem for us. Some girls have stupid requirements. You don't want them anyway because if it's not height it's some other defect on their 463 point check list. "Non-threatening"? That sounds like an attitude thing, not s size thing. Have you considered doing a martial art? It might change the way you carry yourself.

I believe Donal called out Sis and I because he knows we are professing Christians and thus have no excuse for promoting deception, even by omission. Which is why I have bothered to make this public. It's an attempt at restitution, and to get the conversation rolling. The hive mind is a risk of forums, and endemic to women's forums.

If he says no, he says no. Do the task as cheerfully as you can. Pick your battles. The most unpleasant thing you can be is a nag. But see if you can find a way to present it that makes it mutually beneficial. For example, the shoes. Are you at home, or do you both work? Is he coming home before you if the latter is the case? If you're home first, make a routine where his coming in includes helping him with his shoes and doing whatever else v is necessary or helpful to settle in to being home. I…

I have reassessed my initial advice. Do not lie. And give anyone you may be considering the option to know. Make it clear that you are not a virgin, have had a number of relationships, that you are willing to give him as much detail and numbers as he wants to know. That may mean that you lose someone good. But the truth is that if you gained them through deception, you never had them to begin with. It is not fair to any man to have a false impression of your past. He should know what he is getti…

Headship is related to decision making authority. Make a good meal for your husband, set the table nicely, do what you can to make him comfortable, and then let him know that you want to make his home as pleasant for him as possible. Ask him what his expectations are for you as a housekeeper. And let him know what things he could do that would make your job easier. Don't tell him to take his shoes off. Instead, set up a place to put shoes, along with a basket of slippers, and let him know that y…

I will not speak for Donal on that point. If I recall correctly, he is a Catholic, and within that hierarchy women have leadership within religious communities of women, but not over men. I have no personal dispute with this set-up but not for reasons of personal foibles endemic to one sex or the other. But they are a religious matter and not pertinent to this forum.

Please do read the post. Yes, we are supposed to look out for our interests. But they should not be gained at the expense of the other. It is a false dichotomy to choose "my happiness" over "his happiness". If we're talking marriage the two are interlinked. And if you are dating to find a husband, this applies as well.

Good post, that. I was going to augue that mushy and obsessed as Edward is, he is also a gentleman, which is a challenge for modern readers to see as masculine. We have been caught in a dichotomy of wimps (betas) and barbarians (alphas) and have difficulty seeing that there is cure to both extremes. Edward is rich, powerful, athletic, strong, and gifted. He can afford to be mushy. Rather like all those alpha rock stars singing blue pill ballads. They can afford it.

This. I've been arguing for years to my friends that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is not a strong woman. She is a broken one who can't connect with men except on the physical plane by the time the series ends. Women don't need to be badasses to be strong. Real strength is strength of character. That is the kind that a man actual wants in a woman. She needs to be on the one hand vulnerable, to encourage his protective instincts. It's a dynamic that works well for both parties. But there needs to be t…

I'm a monarchist. This voting stuff is for the birds. And by that I mean the winged kind. In all seriousness, I would gladly let go of women's suffrage. If I can dig it up, I'll find a copy of Florence King's argument for repealing the 19th Amendment. She was (is?) a feminist, but of a very peculiar kind that I have a teeny bit of sympathy with. Her Misanthrope's Corner was a treasure of a column.

I'd think it's more like a business deal. We want a win-win scenario at the end of day. Relationships where one side is consistently screwed aren't satisfying or long lasting.

As far as I know, we are speaking about the same "red pill" in the sense that we are speaking about the essential differences between the sexes, their complementarity, what aspects men and women find attractive in each other, what factors are comfort building but don't initially attract, etc. frequently use the language of evolutionary psychology, but it is not essential, because the data remains the same whether you explain it through evo psych or intelligent design or alien mind control. Yes. And if cohabitation is sold as "trying out marriage", there is no guarantee that it will ever get to the marriage part. So you commit time and resources, comingle funds, invest emotionally, but have no legal recourse or incentive to make it work. Granted, no fault divorce has made even marriage a form of cohabitation, but with disastrous financial consequences for men.

Good question. My own case really doesn't apply, since the answer for me was too darn long. (We'd been dating 4 years the day we married.) And we were classmates as well as working colleagues at my college. So, nearly round the clock exposure. I would say that within 4 to 5 dates, you ought to know if there is relationship chemistry. Marriage is the only relationship where sex is a given, so it must be there even if you don't give it a great drive before purchase. And you can tell pretty easily …

I come in on the side of no, but that is based on the idea that you should reserve sex to marriage as well. I may put together a solid defense of that in a different post, but suffice it to say, cohabitation would be awkward if you were roommates but had a romantic, but not yet sexual, relationship. I think.most character flaws that you would discover living together you should know already anyway. Is he a slob? You didn't need to move in to figure that out. Most things can be learned through a …

Word. The bitterness is that we were lied to. It's that we wasted time. Even when we did things right (waited until marriage, stated at home to give the kids a better start) we screwed up the order of the house by trying to run the show. We believed the lie that externals don't matter. They do. They're not the only thing that matters, but they matter all the same. I wonder at the irony that I spent my college years designing theatrical costumes, working on the premise that physical appearance si…

Yes, but is it the same? When the red is veering into purple, does it have the same visceral effect? Minute color differences can have profound psychological effects.

I avoid red like the plague, for the reasons margerym noted. I can wear garnet, and wine, but not true red. But honestly, based on this, I'd continue to avoid red. The bulk of my life my husband is at work and I don't like sending availability signals to the general public. Finding a nightgown in a red that I can wear...that's another story entirely.

Don't forget, you can work to improve your physical health. Self-control is an excellent virtue to develop. But it is made easier by having fewer internal storms to quell. I have found that my moods have become more stable and easy to control the more I have become careful about eating a healthy diet.

Anarcho-monarchist Catholic here. Pretty much what SoftHarem said. It's harder to be RP and liberal if being liberal means trying to create equality where there is essential difference. But that doesn't mean you can't be. I think the important thing to keep in mind is that it's about accepting reality for what it is. I may come from a standpoint that says Grace can perfect Nature, but acknowledge that Nature for what it is. We can have different ideas on what may be the political consequences of…

My own hair is very long. About hip length. I.usually keep it up in a knot, but my husband prefers double braids or crowns. I.do know a few men who preferred their wives hair to be short. Notably, they were all military men. Not sure what that says, just my anecdotal evidence.

Develop areas of interest through reading. Have a life. Have something to talk about. Then read through "How to Win Friends and Influence People" to get a handle on how to talk.and listen in a non-combative way. You should have a mind and an opinion, but you should be a sounding board, not a battering ram. If you are talking with a guy who is into sports, learn about the games he likes. If you really don't care, that will come across. Maybe he's into military history. Find out what his area of s…

It depends on what you are trying to attract. There are many men that wish women would wear more dresses. Truly, rather than worrying about a more sexy or younger style, keep in mind that attraction is about how approachable you seem. Is your hair long? Then wear it down, or in braids or a soft up-do rather than something severe like a bun. Dresses can look frumpy or older if they don't fit or look out-dated. Look to fashion magazines to find current silhouettes and then choose then according to…

You just described how my husband and I worked in our courtship. Respect is a two way street. If sex isn't on the table outside of long-term commitment (in my case, marriage was the only option), fine, but I had to respect his personal integrity as well.

Depends on context. Chokers highlight a slender, feminine neck, and have the appearance of a collar, for those who are into that kind of thing, nudge, nudge. Multiple reasons that a man might find that attractive, and it only looks cheap if paired with cheap clothing, or in the wrong setting. Always worth remembering that men have tastes, same as women. Some attractors are universal, others are highly personal. Some guys like high heels. He likes chokers.

Yes, but what they consider acceptable will differ. Some will only desire virgins or possibly 1 other partner (youthful indiscretion allowance). Some may not have as great an objection provided they are assured of your devotion and loyalty. What no man wants is to believe that he is a meal ticket or a lesser option. High partner counts ups the risk that you will be pining for a more alpha partner from your past and comparing your spouse unfavorably. It also sends the signal that you were having …

On first blush, I'd say that there are implicit value judgements on traditional marriage roles that are assumed (in the negative) through out the article. The other glaring omission is the complete lack of talk about children as the natural consequence of marriage. Questions of permanence and prevalence of marriage matter to the stability of society, but especially as far as the stability of child- goes. I did not see one mention of the good of children mentioned, only a nod to costs of childcar…

Imagine your at the rehearsal dinner and everyone is on their third glass of wine. What information do you want your future spouse to discover under those conditions? If you aren't going to reveal the total, be upfront that you have some experience. Don't give a number that can be contradicted by hard evidence. Withholding makes you reticent. Giving a lowball that is discovered to be false makes you a liar.
/r/RedPillWomen18/06/13 03:31 PM

The truth has a way of outing itself. Unless a large portion of that number are very short term or in a foreign country and not known to the wider circle of friends, saying 7 and then discovering #8 or 9 makes one wonder where it stops. Don't lie. Reveal on a need to know basis, but don't give a hard number unless it is the real number.

My point was less that intellect was a requirement than that it was a retention quality, not an attraction quality. Thus the keeper line. Among girls of equal attractiveness, the one that can hold an intelligent conversation, be genuinely interested in your work, even possibly to the point of collaboration, while having humility and restraint in her interactions, is the "keeper". But it's parts of a complex alchemy of beta traits. Something else may weigh more, like cooking skill, or forthrightn…

That's why I note the point about it being in service to his mission. A man of above average intelligence will have a different requirement and definition of intelligence than someone in the middle of the distribution. But, yes, that intelligence is in the service of something greater than her own solipsism. So, to restate, a man who places intellectual partnership highly in his hierarchy of value will value a woman of above average intellect, but only so long as she meets his minimum threshold …

I think you're on to something, but not wholly there. There are men for whom intellectual capacity and compatibility matter. They matter as an aspect of a woman being supportive of her man's "mission". So where for some men smarts is a nice but nonessential add-on, for others it's a hard requirement. Two examples come to mind. The intellectual partnership of Dietrich von Hildebrand and his wife Alice, and the scientific partnership of the Curies. In both cases, a deep love and respect was there.…

The talk about children is two-fold. First, for most of human history, marriage was about the begetting and rearing of children. The only other long-term relationship that existed was concubinage, which doesn't offer the same same legal safeguards on permanence. The other reason there is so much talk of children is that it attraction factors, which are hardwired into is, assume mating ends in babies. So the features we find attractive are features that make them good fathers or mothers. Whether …

Attraction= Alpha= Girl Game Retention = Beta = building the Wife Goggles The Red Pill for women is the knowledge that long term commitment must be secured early. Learning to build attraction qualities improves the chances of finding a man who is equally attractive to the woman.
