So sad she can only arrive at this conclusion that maybe not all men are inherently terrible after having a son, and not when you decided to spend the rest of your life with one. I feel for that husband.

Totally agree! It’s definitely a big problem! All these other fascist dictatorships that have selective/universal compulsory service like Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, etc.

That’s true I guess? You did have the option to commit a felony, go to jail for 5 years, and be fined $250,000 for not signing up. But at least it wasn’t automatic!

My mother has worked at our towns public library for 25 years now which just so happens to be next door to the elementary school me and my older sister attended.
