Same here, but I think that's because my friends don't think anything like I do so it's difficult to have a conversation around them without them saying something absolutely stupid. I just might hate my friends.

Well, play pc games and learn from the people I meet about their cultures, cook, write, read a ton, backpacking (mostly wilderness survival training, I like to be resourceful), learning how to sing clean vocals and scream harsh ones, shooting, and teaching people whatever I can. These things are just what I like to do, if I had a stable job besides being a handy man for the past year an a half I'd probably do much more.

Think of how jealous it'll make the other dudes, instead of wondering if they'll sit their and make fun of you in their minds. Icelandic is closer to English than you think man. So you should be golden allmost all the time speaking it. fb in my expirence removes a lot of the accountability, so the quicker you get their number to start calling/texting to set up dates is going to bring you much greater success. But that is after all, just in my expirence, as I've never lived in Iceland I can't say how it all plays out but I'd be inclined to believe the psychology of it remains somewhat the same.

Drop communication. Also as a rule I stay away from groups of friends that bring FUGs with em to clubs/bars etc. I could be just shallow but I don't stick to groups like that. My advice don't drink like that if you are looking to play the game proficiently. Get a buzz, pregame and have one maybe two drinks at the club.
