I get where you're coming from but since op clearly needs professional help, I'm going to point out that no professional will ever put that so bluntly. Teaching to appreciate what you do have? Sure. Hell I've even seen someone take that part the wrong way as if it's gloating. But when you put it the way you have, all it does is minimise what's going on internally. This is clearly only one facet of what's going on here, and I don't mean this as an attack but I guarantee it's nothing the damaged p…

Alright, so in my history I've been extensively gaslit, and emotionally abused. Is it ok if I'm wary of all women, or are people gonna cry incel and misogyny?

Nobody in that comment section really 'win' here. That said, speaking from experience there's a point in basic levels of therapy/counselling etc where you can push everything you learn to their extremes and still be struggling. Accessing higher levels of care is a bitch (NHS) and let's face it, nobody genuinely suicidal is in need of a basic level of care.

Kinda lost me with that last sentence, not gonna lie. That entire ideology revolves around refusing to improve and dragging down as many people as you can, with you. And don't twist what I'm saying, I'm not telling you JuSt HiT tHe GyM bRo (Jesus I've heard that enough) but my view is that your own personal evolution is all that should matter when you're in our shoes. I reached a point where (admittedly I'm dancing back and forth) for the most part I don't make a ton of effort in chasing romance…

I think on both sides - and this seems to be a little empathy that could help op - people are as picky as their past has made them. Personally I can tell you my entire list is "mutual attraction with no head games" and I know after past experience I'm going to be ready to bolt the second it even looks like a woman wants to play games. To them that's gonna look like I'm being a lot more "picky" than I actually ever get close to. But I have plenty of reason to have my guard up that much. Similarly…

Women get away with much cooler hairstyles than men. Ngl even if mine wasn't shit I still don't think I could pull off half the styles they do.

Any time looking into incels will back this theory perfectly. The types that think like that aren't interested in improvement or change, they just wanna see everyone around them as miserable as they are.

Honestly never. Took sociology as a 16 year old and heard the accurate description of egalitarianism and it stuck with me, cause it fit me more accurately.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
