I see your point, I could have steered it that way. I still don't think a slight amount of evading from me warranted the bitchy (that was bitchy for her) response.

Thank you, my error was breaking the silence, not trying to evade/joke around the question, that's what I figured. Shit, at least I can avoid that mistake in the future.

I didn't blow her off I just didn't respond exactly what she was asking immediately. I was just trying to joke around with her a bit.

Ok so I should just answer every question she asks immediately without teasing a little or joking around at all?

The "Alright Fine. Nevermind. Goodnight." Was completely out of character and polar opposite of usual attitude towards me, she doesn't talk to me like that in general, I wanted to call her out on shitty behavior.

I understand that, however, I have a lot of male and female friends that stop by and see me when my kid is there as well, so although they were close for a while, she isn't the only adult friend that is around us. I do completely respect your point and if she was the only other adult around I would make sure to cut them off until a HEALTHY RP LTR was established.

Her attention whore ways mean that if I plate her she will play the perfect girlfriend. I am not at a place to resist it. I agree with the no contact. Thank you.

Great advice. Seeing clearly for the first time in years. Thank you.

I suppose it isn't a total 180. I have been scaling back my investment in her the last couple days because. Stopped using anything but her name, stopped calling, texting as much.

I have consistently and constantly been a "nice" and forgiving guy to her. And every time that has happened, it never takes long for her to take me for granted. Thus the on and off issues. When she has her attention actually set on me, it is amazing, the problem is that once she feels I am won over, she starts drifting. I made this play to drift further than she is and kick start her hamster, and make myself the center of the world. Hate/anger still = feelings.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
