What does this have to do with feminism. What’s the point? To just antagonize people. There is enough of that going on already. Women are not your enemy. This is a serious problem that’s being derailed by making it about feminism. Think forward not backward. I am certain no woman thinks this is ok.

Yeah I unfollowed that sub long before it got banned. It wasn’t all bad but I got sick of the incels and constant whining. Also lots of just straight woman hating happened there unchecked.

I’ve been following this page for a long time. While I don’t characterize the page as misogynistic, there are a good chunk of incel type people here. And sometimes an overall me vs them mentality which isn’t helpful. For instance, there was a post earlier about Megan Markle wanted men to speak up. She got thrashed in the comments because the guys were offended she was calling for it. For me, that’s a ton better than “no uterus, no opinion.” And she’s right. We should stick up for what’s right. B…

I'd rather be encouraged to help them than be told I don't have an opinion or voice because I have a dick.

I think her points are fair. I noticed the us vs them tone as well before I saw that she wrote it.

Yeah but I didn’t read anything that makes her this demon the comments are suggesting.

Am I missing something? I read the article and it she says she didn't do that on purpose and is grieved by the injustice that happened. Victims of rape go through some pretty terrible and confusing times. This is on the investigators more than her.

How about, “I don’t want your money, (cashed the checks though), I just want you gone. “ Bleeds me dry in court fees because her family has money. I was 19. I didn’t have shit, but I worked my ass off. Lost over 18 years of bonding. She calls me her dad and I see her five or six times a year. My heart will always be crippled because of it.

You guys come on. I refuse to believe that this is a mainstream feminist view. I think feminism is whack as much as the next guy, but this is an extremist view. It’s paranoid and meant to separate us. It makes us look stupid and hysterical. This shit should not be allowed here. I think we should be talking about men’s issues and inequality, not fringe clickbait bullshit like this.

I’m really sorry to read that. I grew up in shit too. Single mother. Father ghosted me at birth. Mother was mentally ill and I got shipped off to live with other people every time she had a break down. I too have seen the displacement of my friends in divorce or single homes, however, my experience is that your environment is not necessarily the average one. I’m much older now and have heard the stories of many parents and kids because I used to counsel them. I think that most single mothers are…

That is not the average single mom. That’s an idiot. I think you should get out of the bubble your in. There are crappy ones like this, but this is not the average single mom.

On the inverse. I was told not to pay child support because the mom wanted me gone. I refused because I wanted to have a relationship with my daughter. I set up child support payments and paid for 18 years of her life. I spent all 18 years fighting for visitation rights that were always awarded to me, but never enforced. Every Christmas at a Denny’s 2 hours away from me. Didn’t get to see her without her mom there until she was 18 and made the choice for herself to meet me alone. I probably saw …

If you really think this is PPD, you’d be better off hanging with other incels. They’d love it.

Had a professor in college teaching "Writing and Rhetoric" who assigned only gay feminist literature and asked for critiques. Most of my writing in that regard was complimentary, as most of the content wasn’t particularly inflammatory for me. However, every single book attacked the male sex, some even going to far as to suggest forced government take-over to a smarter and "Less aggressive gender. I picked these ideas apart as assigned in the writing. Ended up with a C. All feedback was directed …

Sadly, in America, this still doesn't prove consent. She could have written those while drunk.

I wore one to my wedding. Both of our families did. We made the mistake of putting disposable cameras on each table (Yes, this shows how old I am). We saw the nutsacks of every one of our family members I would guess. Couldn't even tell you how many woman asked what I or they were wearing under the kilt. I have only maybe a few times asked a woman what she was wearing under her dress. Anyways, we all flashed them at the end because we were piss drunk, so my argument becomes moot, and I'm back to…

Did you read the article I linked? I can post dozens just like it. Sweeping generalizations and accusations against “men” with no distinction between an assaulter or a normal run of the mill good guy.

Isn’t that what’s happening with men now? Some guys assault women or other men, and all are being demonized. Case in point, read this rubbish. https://johnpavlovitz.com/2017/10/16/men-side-metoo/

Depends on the union I guess. I'm in the nurses union and am provided a great work environment with really safe negotiated nurse to patient ratios.
