It's a very obviously male name and I did the interview in person and I'm white. I feel like the office manager must have complained on Tuesday when I wasn't in because I left on Monday thinking I did well and then Wednesday found out I didn't

You're right. I was just so confused. I went in and brought a full days worth of food and everything expecting to be there 9 to 5 and then got sent home immediately. Was sitting at home by 9 45 wondering what just happened

They didn't even try to make it seem like they considered me. They could have had the system wait a day or two and then reject me

I'm from Canada but I applied for my dream job in the UK (strength and conditioning coach for a professional sports team). The application asked my gender, race, religion, and sexual orientation (male, white, Christian, straight). Within 3 minutes of clicking submit (maybe 2m45s or so) I received an email informing me that there were stronger applicants and I was not being considered. I guarantee no human read that application and the system auto rejected me. I have an MSc and 8 years of experie…

Also from Ontario, Canada. A month ago or so my ex broke up with me but still sends me messages like this on various social media and through text to make sure I haven't found someone new (I have and I've blocked my ex now). You're not alone in this!

This is the best advice. Do things that you enjoy and make you better and know what you want. Be prepared for failure. You will meet plenty of women who simply aren't good for you and that's fine. Same way we don't all want to be blamed for bad things men have done, we can't start to hate women because some of them treat us badly. Sure there's lots of bad ones out there but work on you and you'll find a good one along the way.

I went on a few dates with this really nice girl. We got along great. On one of our dates she said "I've always wanted to get into baseball but I need to learn all the rules". I've played baseball my entire life so I said "I can teach you". And then she accused me of mansplaining...

It drives me kind of crazy that people who support this ad act like there is the option to have a perfect world where everyone behaves themselves. People still bully. People still rape. I don't think demonizing boys is going to stop that. Men aren't a problem. Shitty people without empathy are the problem. Just because there's some people out there who are scum bags doesn't mean that all men are just like them They need to stop trying to alienate men. 99% of us agree that sexual assault and bull…

Judging people based on who they are rather than by what category they fall into. Would be nice if more people thought like this

Fair point. That's probably true too. They look for something that will validate their ideas

Exactly. Theres screwed up men out there who make feminists think men are horrible. We don't want to fall into the same trap of thinking women are horrible because their are insane feminists out there

I'm glad you said this and I'm glad people make posts like this. I dont want this to become a female hating sub. Some people like to use it as one and its important to remember that this isn't about hate

This is the most important one I think. Take gender out of the equation entirely. Everyone has problems, everyone needs to be helped, nobody should be treated differently than anybody else. Treat everyone with respect regardless of their gender and help them if you can

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
