if you feel like grieving and just feeling emotional hahaha you should listen to Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreaks. Some songs also up the mood after a break up, like "Robocop"

were you born in the US? what made you decide to be so invested in the Japanese culture? was it pure interest? i also have a friend who's white but loves asian cultures.

give it to her straight. ask her what she really feels, and tell her if she's not 100% on board with you, then you have better things to do with your time (like find someone who is), and that yeah, you'd like to just be friends too if that's the case.

great story. be in charge of yourself. if some outing isn't being planned well, either plan it well yourself or just don't go. there's a hundred other productive things you could be doing rather than wait a few hours to hang out with some people. i've been in this kind of situation before, and i think the best thing to do is just ask yourself what would make you happy right now, and go ahead and do it. 'don't ask permission, just ask forgiveness'

this is great advice, more than just advice on how to be attractive to the other sex, this is advice for life. I've realized some of this as well, but like everything else, I'm not perfect, so it's great to read these points written by someone else and be reminded of them.

I've been wondering this too. I have cologne, but I'd prefer a body wash that has a long lasting scent. I used old spice but i don't think that the scent lasted that long unless there's a certain technique to it...

maybe you should put yourselves in situations that don't require a lot of reflecting on the past. for example, just take her out on a couple dates and do some fun things where she probably won't have to think about her ex. and when she does bring her ex up again (at the appropriate time), maybe tell her how now that she's with you, she won't have to put up with all that bs, and she can relax more and just enjoy what's happening. sounds like you're in a good situation though, gl!

I'd say that reply was pretty clutch haha, but let us know how it turns out.

just find out when she's free, and if you want to go do something with her, rather than ask her if she's free and if she wants to, just tell her what you want. "meet me at 6 for dinner" or something, just be more decisive for her.

tell her it's all good but if her date goes awkward and she wants a good time, she'll know where to find you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
