I very much respect and appreciate this reply. I too hate the current left’s kowtowing to the radical side and denying common sense. I grew up w a family of Reagan republicans who saw the light and realize MAGA doesn’t remotely resemble true conservative values. My comment comes from frustration at the complete abandonment of values that align with human decency. Despite the crazies on the left, on the whole they don’t dictate important policy and I have more faith in the left getting that in co…

Oh yeah? The right thinks for themselves and doesn’t cower to every single idiotic and dumbass impulse of Dump’s? The right lost credibility from 2016 onwards. Now? I pray this streak of dipshittery continues so NO ONE will ever take the idea of “republicans” seriously again. You all deserve everything you get. Signed- an independent who votes left strictly out of a respect for a modicum of decency and morality

You seem to have strong self awareness and that’s one of the most undervalued traits out there. I’d say center left is the right place to be for the US and the more people regain sanity we should recognize that center left is where the best work gets done in this country. Sadly don’t know if that’s possible in the near future, but it’ll get back there

And I equally hate that when you say you’re not for the woke nonsense, you’re immediately attacked from the left even harder than the right would for calling you a woke lefty. Progressive/leftist intolerance for any different viewpoint is a huge part of the shitstorm we find ourselves in, despite being on the “right” side of history

People like this are the biggest harm to feminism out there. Absolutely no room for nuance or a productive conversation, and speaking entirely from emotion with no data to back up her claims. This is beyond over the top and harmful to the overall cause

This is a summary of any progressive company in corporate America. It’s fucking exhausting pretending like we “deserve” the treatment

Totally agreed, but with this election it’s a no brainer. The MAGA version of “conservatism” is awful for men as well

You’re not alone at all. I feel similarly working in a female dominated industry and hear the misandry far too often and the term “men” used almost exclusively in a pejorative sense. My fear is that the whole man hating culture has been widely embraced and gone too far and any attempt at a rebuttal to the nonsense just puts you and your career/personal life at risk. What do you do when it feels like sticking up for yourself and all the great men in your life is pointless because it will just cau…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
