Yes - Please do. I also went through this as well and came out just this year finally. I have come to realize that the the problem I have gone through is more widespread then many realize, especially among youth.

That would have only enabled more abuse - a higher amount next time. It was only this guy going to the police about the blackmail that saved him from facing prison.

You nailed that one, good post. I think this fear is a root cause of so many young men committing suicide, trapped in a relationship you don't want to be in because you know prison is the alternative would drive many people mad.

This is Canada for you, you can be accused and arrested, jailed and publicly shamed with 0 evidence other than the accuser making a statement to the police. Teenagers especially don't realize the peril they are in going to parties, sleep overs, youth functions, even school and college. Intimacy can happen conceptually then afterwards regret/jealousy/insert any reason here/ can happen and the kid is facing very serious charges that can earn him double digit jail sentences, lifetime sex offender l…
