They’re the kind of guy they think women have to settle for, or that they’re no one’s choice. They’re telling on themselves

I’ve used it once, to warn people about an ex friend who was an Asian fetishist who was creepy to another friend, and was racist toward me and my other friend. I think there is a utility for them, especially because of genuinely creepy and shitty men, many of whom hide that they’re married and cheating. But they’ve turned into “I’m gonna blast off at this guy just because he was a boring date and I felt he wasted my time” which totally defeats the purpose of the groups.

I’m an ADHD haver and I think what really helped is getting a better idea of what love looks like and what works for me so I can focus better on who would actually be a good partner for me. One of the two people I loved as much also had ADHD

There are high quality men- if you know what you’re looking for and how to find them. Selection strategy is as important as knowing what you’re after. It’s hard to find what you’re looking for if you’re going about it in the wrong way

It isn’t even grown women too, it’s happening them as little girls who are actually defenseless and too young and innocent to advocate for themselves. The lack of agency of the victims is why pedophillia is considered so reprehensible. It seems like a sizeable majority of women in this thread have had to deal with pedophillic men, which is a big problem even there are few pedophillic men.

It isn’t meant to be, its illustrative. My point is that regardless of how few men act like creepy pedos, it’s that so many women have had pedos creeping on them.

Even if it’s only 10% of men that do this, the problem is that 90% of women experience it.

Bi with a male preference. I like skinny and lean guys. Some body hair can be hot, and I prefer pubes being there. I like the stubble, and sharp features. There is plenty erotic about men, including their voices, hands, legs.

Yeah, this doesn’t add up. If women are supposedly gonna go hard trad, wouldn’t this mean marrying as young as possible, and popping them out by the dozen to fruit the plague depopulated earth? I have a feeling this is based on some pretty sus logic to begin with even.

I think it’s more important to consider someone who has similar views on exclusivity and a similar experience level. I’m 26 and I’ve had a few exclusive relationships (4) so I’d like someone with a comparable level of experience. I’m not too hardline on it, but it would be nice. Overall the idea of “some women are for sex only and others for love only” is a shitty oversimplification of the world that has led to many a dead bedroom.

I have a healthcare profession and have a secondary career in finance, business and investment. I want someone with similar potential to me and similar interests, as that’ll be more relatable to me. I want someone who gets the struggle of the grind. My most recent person had ambition but he was young and hasn’t really seen the grind yet. I need someone who’s been in it a few years and is on the same page as me. I mean, I wish i could have the artsy himbos or airy writers or a guy who doesn’t hav…

I don’t really select for height explicitly(like I don’t put a limit on my profiles), but all four of mine have been 5’11-6’1. I guess it’s because I prefer skinnier men and I feel it may show better on taller guys, the ectomorph build. There’s pros and cons, pros include being able to be kissed even when being hit from behind and on top positions feeling more pressure, cons are that I’m 5’1” so 69 is not doable.

Truly HVW don’t go around telling themselves they’re high value. They just date and marry HVM because it’s their station in life and their experiences match as opposed to being used as a quick fling by HVM and then having to settle for commitment from LVM or MVM, and using the fling they had as proof of being HV .

No, not at all. It’s not better or worse than not waiting. Just so long as you’re honest and your partner is ok with it. I think the reason why it’s not common anymore is because people aren’t marrying before 21 as often anymore. It’s a hell of a lot easier to wait if you’re getting married at 18 vs 28.

I think the majority of women seeking marriage or LTRs are Bethanies, and a lot of them are on PPD. For super trad marriage a minority of Stefanies. Suzies wouldn’t touch marriage with a ten foot pole, and aren’t designed for it. Bethanies however strive to be good bets for marriage. Suzies strive to be fits for ONS, FwBs, STRs or open relationships

A woman who starts gunning for marriage anytime between 22 and 26 (potentially as late as 27 or 28 if she is exceptionally fit, attractive, well heeled and high SMV, in general the higher quality the woman the more leeway she gets) is usually in good position to lock down a decent quality man before 30 hits, though they May marry him after 30 as usually relationships take time to progress to marriage. But if you don’t start until 28-30, you risk missing out on the best prospects. 30 is when you …

Women’s pecking order among themselves is based on the maximum quality of man who they can get to commit. It doesn’t matter if a pig bangs a new beautiful Chad every night in the bathroom of a dark bar. If to them she’s never more than a hole and a night, other women will assess her as low SMV, much like an incel man would be seen. But a attractive woman who marries a kindly Chad who is well heeled in life would be assessed as high SMV. A man has failed in the SM if he cannot get any sex. A woma…

Sometimes when something feels off, you have to actually go through the breakup to process the reason why (ie you ended up diverging in what you wanted out of the relationship, it ran its course and you can’t go any further, there was something about them that bugs you, you’re too differnet wrt to where you are in life and you can’t relate to each other well or anymore )

TRP is helpful, but it’s best for a cheap ONS. If you actually want more than that it’s practically useless and even counterproductive

The reason why all these older guys who date super young women are usually losers is because the younger women are easily impressed and not ready to commit. The same age peers of those guys have established jobs and are likely marriage ready, and the women of that age are established too and ready to vet if the men are marriage ready. The loser men who aren’t established know that their same age women are likely to vet them for marriage, and they have no chance but failure with them. Instead the…

The problem is that doesn’t track to reality very well. Like 90-95% of people will marry at least once, still most people will marry once only, and the lowest divorce risk is found in 25-34 years old, with the highest risk found below 21. That shows that there are some people both men and women who are the marrying kind, and they have to be ready at some point in time, usually after age 25. If what you suggest was true, almost no one would ever get married ever, and almost everyone would divorce…

It comes across as wanting to have it both ways. They want 18 year old untouched virgins to settle down with, but those 18 year old virgins are likely no where near mature enough to know what they want or to have a stable, balanced life where they can be realistic about their expectations. Plenty of people get married and stay married these days, and the sweet spot with lowest divorce risk is 25-34 ish. Ergo, there are some people suited to marriage and most of them reach that point somewhere in…

That could also be because it’s rare to be stable in your self image or career by then. Most people graduate college by 22, but aren’t decided on their path until about 25. You aren’t really mature enough until then neither. This isn’t even a gender linked thing, this applies to most everyone.

Some people also have extremely picky or nosey families (ask a bazillion questions about wedding and kids and won’t approve of them unless they fit a very narrow set of criteria, typical in arranged/forced marriage cultures) and want privacy from them. Some people have narcissistic family members they are LC or NC with and don’t want it circling back so the Narc doesn’t try to get involved. I used to enjoy this sub, but lately I feel it has gone to the Incels. It isn’t nearly as fun anymore for that reason. I feel like since most of Reddit’s Incel hives are quarantined or banned, they’re starting to infiltrate here in disguise. I hate censoring topics but I worry that if we don’t keep our guards up we’ll end up going the same way as formerly neutral subs that got overrun by Incels and taken over.

I think the problem is clairity of messaging. Making sure people who want ONS only get people who want the same by honestly communicating intention, making the people who want to date find each other, making early marriage minded people meet up, helping polyamorous people find each other

Misogyny really, surprisingly, as like penises is considered a feminine trait. When you are more open about giving men sex appeal it allows women more room to be open and express their own needs, leaving them less pliable.

Hinge limits the number of likes per day if you don’t get premium. That forced me to prioritize quality over quantity and it yielded results to say the least. I’m going to play contrarian (especially in this age of Corona) and say that the problem is not OLD in and of itself. OLD can produce as good results as IRL if people use it right. But most people don’t. For one thing, most people use the wrong site or app for what they’re after. If you want something long term Tinder is a bad choice as ev…

Why wouldn’t she be a Virgin with a history of being a “cock tease” as it’s called? In a lot of religious communities, a lot of virgin women use their virginity to encourage rich men to marry them, and then they live off his avails. I’m not sure of your experiences, but this still is more personality based.

Personally, I don’t think it matters terribly much either. A lot of redder people see it as a solid indication, but like any parameter it cannot tell the whole story of a person’s level or experience or ability to be faithful. N count says less about experience proper than we think. I would be considered on the lower end of average with 3 partners at 25 years old. But my partners were of different races, one was kinky, and one was LDR, so I had to adapt to a wider variety of situations than some…

By this guy’s definition, yes. You are no longer promiscuous. It’s not a question of sex drive, it’s a question of quantity.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 09:54 PM

How so? Inexperienced women can still play the game by using virginity to keep you on the hook. What do you think about former sluts who are honest about their past, have no history of cheating, don’t feel guilty over it and don’t think they need to repent, they just are bored of it/tired of it and want to switch paths and get a fresh start upfront?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 09:48 PM

I was going by what OP seemed to define it as is large number of partners (>10-15) that were by and large hookups and flings with maybe a few LTRs thrown in there. Promiscuity in the strictest sense, more or less.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 09:41 PM

That’s fair, though I don’t know why you specifically singled out more promiscuous women here when it would be as bad on a more chaste one too.

Then your problem is with the pretentiousness, not really anything to do with being slutty or not. A stuck up prissy virgin who thinks she’s holier than thou because she’s waiting for marriage is probably not going to score too many points with you either.

An honest former slut, one who owns her past and is clear about why she is not doing it anymore, whose slutty days are long past her and is socially fluent and has no history of infidelity (you can have many hookups without being a cheater) is a better choice than a haltingly socially awkward virgin, or someone who has low n but a history of cheating. The epiphany phase is less of a risk if she stopped being slutty before age 28-30, or had any kids. There is a peak of slut reformation at 22-24 b…

As much as I hate to admit it, this is the cold, hard truth no matter how you slice it. This is why I cannot get behind not having kids for the environment- if the decent conscious people don’t have kids, the polluters who don’t give a shit will and that’s who will inherit the Earth. Other people don’t give a shit, nature won’t give a shit, and time won’t give a shit either and you’ll risk ending up in the dust bin of history. Think about it this way too: maybe that Chad who fucked her when she was 20 had her tightest ass, but he had to sit through her exhausting and childish whining, whims and drama. But the Billy Beta who can have her when she’s older and maybe not in as full bloom any more can have her when she’s sane, stable, and no drama. I’m 25 years old, I wasn’t 20 all that long ago and my sister is 18. If I could press a button and reverse the polarity so that women went for Billy Beta in their prime and Chad…

I think if you were forced to go with a “looksmatch”, the people deemed ugly may just get discouraged and drop out entirely instead of trying to improve for the people they want. I’ve seen cases where someone goes a bit about their pay grade and they start to improve to keep up with the partner.

I still think a 35 year old with a 60 year old is weird as fuck and gross too. Half your ago plus seven gives more leeway as you get older too. Regardless of the genders, if your 18 date whatever age you want but it can still be weird and creepy. Weird and creepy yes, but not pedophillic.

Unless your face is really fucked up or your a complete bitch, chances are you will have no problem finding a boyfriend if you are at a healthy weight because so much of your competition has fattened up. Fat girls can maybe get hookups, but commitment is another story. In fact, I’d say putting on the years is less harmful to attractiveness than putting on the pounds. Most guys even those who are younger would be more ok with a 35+ woman in good shape than a fat 22 year old.

I would also add that when time is on your side, you have more opportunity to wait and see. A 22 year old can afford to wait a few years for someone to develop, they can take a work in progress. At 32, you don’t have time to wait, you need the finished product now or you risk missing the boat.

I think a lot of it comes from some men being duplicitous or unclear as to what they want. If a woman is at least moderately hot and not hook up minded, there is a good chance that some guys will ask her out on the guise of a relationship but actually only intend to have sex with her. The woman would want to be sure that his words match his actions, so he’d be willing to wait if he truly intends for something serious as opposed to just saying he does. If the woman is hookup minded though, it doe…

When you're 18 you hardly know who you are as a person, so how can you know what you bring to a relationship? Back when earlier marriage was the norm, divorce was less of an option, and when it did become an option, a lot of those early married couples did end up divorcing later in life.

Ironically enough, I find hypergamy is rarer in financially Independent career women, and gets rarer in women of higher education and class. Masculinity is something that has to be used in moderation, in a therapeutic range. Below the minimum effective level, you get soyboys and manginas who repulse women. Above the minimum toxic level, you get violent wife beaters and incels. It depends on why they had more sex with the ex. There are reasons other than enjoyability that may be the case, so I wouldn't be so quick to assume it's because sex is a chore on their part. A man doesn't need to announce he's "woke", he needs to show it in his actions that he's not a sexist, racist, homophobes and what not. He just needs to be a respectful person. So many guys pretend to be feminists, go full SJW, and denounce their own masculinity in an effort to get laid with feminist chicks, and we can see right through it. If women find so called "soyboys" repellent, that would be the reason why, because they seem fake and performative, not because they are "woke".

Some men have a need to feel necessary, and that their self worth comes from having someone to be dependent on them and having someone to look after. "If she can be independent, that what purpose would I serve in this relationship?" they'd ask. A lot of men today feel useless and superfluous, and that no one would miss them if they were gone, and it's usually those types that want a kept woman because then someone would miss them if they were gone. Sure there are the usual reasons of sexism and …

Don't ever think you are too broken to love. What you need to do is heal yourself. Surround yourself with people who will uplift you, and you'll stop thinking the worst of people and thus women. If you see the worst of people you will think that's all there is. You're so young, you've got plenty of time to pick yourself up. If you believe you can get through this, you will.

If this guy really doesn't want to divorce, but can't have an open relationship, he could consider the services of prostitutes. Then, it's a business relationship as opposed to a romantic relationship like an open marriage would be, and the sex would be a service he's purchasing.

Divorce also is good for the dating market, and it allows a second chance for people who were left out of the first round of marriages if they are willing to make some concessions/be ok with being a stepparent. The dating market is an open one. An analogy would be the open job market of the United States. If you don't like your first job, you can quit, and while you may be unemployed for a bit, someone else probably just quit or got fired from the job you will end up being hired for next if you …

I think that RPers tend to assume childfree women are worn out sluts that are worthless for commitment (if over 30) or are in their alpha fux stage and will change their tune if it gets them beta bux (if under 30). BPers place less emphasis on N, but RPers still care about N in women even if they are childfree. It's not suitability for motherhood they ar…

Inflation has been higher than interest, which limits real wages and savings. Either one must lower inflation (much harder to do a very few periods of deflation have occured and they are short lived), or raise interest rates (more doable). Deflation is generally bad news as it means there is less capital to go around, but what we really need is a hike in interest rates. It depends. If you’re a guy with little or no chin, than growing a beard can help give your jawline some shape. But if you have a good jawline, you should stay clean shaven as you’d want to show it, and a beard can actually conceal that and be counterproductive. If you grow a huge beard and go for the tats/hipster/lumber look, you may end up attracting more gay guys than women. If that’s what you want, so be it, but it can be an issue if you only want a woman.

Do you actually think Trump is committed to Melania? Their “marriage” is practically a business deal. High status is not just money, but also the prestige of your profession. Men care more for status when it comes to marriage. A well off man would be ok with pumping and dumping a high school dropout hot bimbo, but most certainly not marrying her. When it comes to commitment, men are more likely to commit to an equal, maybe only slightly lower. This is why I disagree that having a lot of credentials is necessarily bad for women’s romantic success, if the end goal is commitment to a high value man. A high status man would be more willing to commit to a high value woman…

In a lot of Indigenous American and polynesian traditions, women were actually considered more sacred and powerful than men because they held the power to create life. The reason they weren't allowed around these things, particularily when menstruating, is that they would be strong enough to override the forces of nature, and bring harm to the men if they were in bad moods. I'd like to add that beta men and beta women are more at odds in terms of strategy and experience than alpha men and women and omega men and women. Alpha men have their pick of alpha and beta women, but ultimately, if they are looking to LTR eventually, they'd do it with an alpha woman with low N. If Omega men can manage to ascend out of incel, they typically don't have access to anything other than omega women, who are so desperate they will take anything and are also low N. If we are discussing why male polygamy isn't considered equally as harmful as hypergamy to maintaining monogamy and thus social stability in a Western society (in Western cultures, social stability is linked to monogamy), that first paragraph a fair enough question, especially if we are using RP to help Betas optimize their strengths instead of turning them into alphas or applying RP to LTR situations. I think incentivizing monogamy has a great deal of positive externalities. With stable families, kids grow up to be psychologically well adjusted, peace is kept since everyone keeps to their own, and people tend to feel more comfortable having kids, all of which are important to preserving the future of society. The benefit to society outweighs the cost to individuals. That said, the best approach is not to disincentivize the behavior you do not want but to incentivize the behavior you want. I t…

Every society has some kind of system regulating how relationships work, and some socially governed instrument supporting relationships. While there are different sets of rules in different societies since the different societies have different values, there is always a set of rules and a system enshrining them. This is not always a bad thing, in fact, it's a good thing. With no institution at all, it'd go to complete Bedlam. People will be too busy quarreling over lovers to do anything producti…

Monogamy has an advantage because it enforces social cohesion- with competition for mates minimized, genetic diversity increases and social conflict over mates decreases, so the society can focus on other things. The cost of there being fewer babies is that those babies are more likely to survive, in polygamous society some babies would get more care than others and some will be killed by rivals. The increased social cohesion and infant survival offsets the costs, especially in a species that’s …

It wouldn’t be any better or worse than male dominated societies as one gender is still subjugated. The women would create and maintain a social fabric just fine, with no restrictions as they historically have had they’d be as inventive and politically motivated as men are in sharia societies. But men would be seen as perpetual mental boys, could even be trafficked. They would be forced to stay young and weak forever, possibly by drugs or by social sanction against physical strength, in an analo…

Culture matters too. Some cultures are very strictly monogamous, with arranged marriages very young, enforced virginity and marriage and divorce and remarriage of widows not permitted. Other cultures don’t even have a concept of monogamy at all, and some allow one to have more than one spouse.

It’s ok to be trans. If you are transgendered and you feel transition is the best option, go for it. If you feel you want to feel comfortable in your birth gender and that’s what you want, go for it too. Being trans is not a disease but the dysphoria is, the dysphoria is what causes distress. I do think non binary genders do exist, nature tends to be more fond of spectra than binaries, and since many cultures have understandings of gender beyond male and female there has to be some room in the m…

Women don’t really focus on that they are getting sex, but with whom. Women who want casual sex don’t have any interest in a flowers and chocolates beta Billy, but more LTR or marriage minded women see even so called Chads as disgusting creeps who only want their bodies. I don’t think N count is the sole measure of experience. If you had only a few partners but you were with them for a long time, you could have as much experience with sex and relationships as someone with many partners. You could have a wider range too if they were very different from one another.

Regarding race and attraction: my thesis was on stereotypes of Asian men in media, and I found a lot of media influences one to think Asian men Are unattractive. However, when it comes to why Asian women may avoid Asian men, I think that isn’t the whole story. I think you could be on to something with the more child abuse thing though, as the kind of man who would use such technology as opposed to finding a partner is more likely to be someone of poor character like an incel. It's not an absolute, just a higher risk, so perhaps this could be overcome with vetting the men allowed access to the technology much like we vet access for adoption. I think one should be careful of seeing this as a hierarchy because different people have different goals. Some cads only want ONS with no commitments, and some KHHV incels would be happy to just have a woman look in their direction. Some people would love a relationship, but don't ever want to get married or do not feel ready for marriage. Marriage isn't the only end goal here.

Ok, I'll explain how this is not possible. Definition of hypergamy is an individual who seeks a partner of higher RMV (the umbrella term for SMV and MMV) than they are. Men's RMV is proportionate to wealth and status. Women's is inversely proportionate to age. These of course are far from the only variables, so we will simplify this model by saying all things considered equal. Both are not obese, not totally hideous, etc A woman who is younger has higher RMV. A man with wealth has higher RMV too…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/18 03:34 AM

What I mean is, you can't both say that men are not hypergamous, and say that they can't go for women half their age without being of equal value through having some wealth to offer, given women's SMP worth is inversely proportionate to age.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/18 03:20 AM

I agree with you. >Men are not hypergamous in the TRP sense of asking for partners of higher value. > It is reasonable for men with nothing to offer to demand women half their age, if women's SMP/MMV value is inversely proportionate to age Pick one.

There isn't but it's hardly universal. You're gonna be fine. There's nothing wrong about feeling frustrated either, but the incel movement is only going to keep you trapped. Look, you seem at least willing to listen to advice, and you sound like a decent person frustrated for a reasonable thing. That puts you above incels already. IT isnt out to get you, they have threads where you can ask about overcoming this way of thinking. You can do better than incels, you can be better.

They tend often to be depressed, and while it's a nice ideal that they just focus on themselves, that's a bit of wishful thinking that all of them would do that. Cultural change in spotting hoes It’s worth noting that that is already a big component of PUA and TRP as is; teaching which women will be more amenable to a night of easy sex as opposed to wasting your time trying to get it from ones that will not give it, or conversely, finding a woman that is amenable to a long term relationship as opposed to a fling. I'd say everyone should try at least one casual thing once. Regardless of gender, if you find you're more of an LTR person, you'll stay off the CC and know you're not missing much. You've had your fill with that little dipping your toe in the pool, and you know it isn't for you so you got it out of your system and you won't have to wonder. The slutty sluts/players will stay on, and in that sense it's a good filtering mechanism to keep them occupied so you don't one end up trying to settle down w…

That 40 year old has had enough time that the first partner could have been like first high school bf that lasted 2 years from age 16, then was single for 2 years, then another serious bf that lasted 4 years, then single one year, now another partner for a year and a half, then single 6-8 months and then last partner she has been with 13 years and has been married to for the last 11. That's a long enough span of time I would necessarily call it hopping from one person to another, the turnover ra…

Being beta is not bad, it's merely a different strategy. It's not lesser than alpha, it's just different and in fact it confers some advantages. Beta Game should be about enhancing the beta's traits, not eliminating them.

I think it's also important to consider the age of the person and length of the relationship. For a 20 year old, I can buy n=4 being high. For a 40 year old, it may not really be.

In your opinion, what should be done to re-incentivize it? Are you talking about financial or social incentives?

I don't think that being more LTR focused, only looking for serious =/= tradcon necessarily. All tradcons fall under that, but not everyone who falls under that has to be a tradcon.

I don't think it's limited to just women, people are usually reluctant to "downgrade" once they've had better experiences. It's called negative contrast.

I think a lot of RP suffers from a selection bias. PUA/RP game is designed to game women for casual sex. Obviously, such a thing would be wasted on women who wouldn't give it to you no matter what. PUAs/RPers would thus only ever deal with sluts on a regular basis and would erroneously conclude AWALT, when the reality is in fact a lot more nuanced and they're missing out on the women who are not receptive to casual sex. In reality it could be that only a fraction of women are promiscuous, but th…

Autistic. A sexist by definition doesn't respect women. Autistics are perfectly capable of doing so.

If she really doesn't want kids I don't get why she doesn't get her tubes tied.

She's pre-wall, and easily a 7. I can see maybe an older gentleman overlooking her having a kid since she would at least be more attractive than the childless 40 year olds they'd have as an alternative and since girls with kids are usually more amendable to older men. Guys her age probably won't see her as being worth much more than a PnD or ONS though.

Being asexual is totally normal, if not rarer. Just because something is rare doesn't mean it's not normal, only that it's not common. For instance, blonde hair is rarer than brown hair, but it's still considered normal.
