That's not sad, what's sad is attacks on men aren't talked about We need talk about both, not neither

Don't. Not because it wouldn't be entertaining, but simply because it's against their rules If we want to be respected, we need to respect others too. That includes staying on topic in other subs

I can kinda see your point now, thanks for elaborating :) Tho I still think it would've been better said by "the woman replaced a professional", but yeah

If a woman who is actually better qualified for the position got it, I'd be fine with it What you're saying with the "replaced a man" part is the default should be a man, I honestly can't agree with that Let's get someone there no matter the gender

My point was that it's common enough that we can't say it's not an issue

I say this a an mra from the bottom of my heart: What the fuck did I just read? Firstly, if you see someone of any gender with a flat tire, help them Second, if anyone weaker than you needs help, help them Third, if there's anyone walking behind, hold the door for them Fourth, marriage is ones personal choice, and if you find someone you're truly happy living your life with (and you both want to be married) the go for it The solution to gender issues is not to start the apartheid system against …

I would have no issue with forcing every able bodied man to fight What I have an issue with is not making women do the same You're at war with one of the biggest countries in the bloody world, you need all the manpower you can find! Organize children to the west side of the country to be taken care of primarily by older people, and people with disabilities, poor eyesight, etc Every able bodied person should be making an active effort in the war. In a defensive war, the entire country should figh…

Your second point is irrelevant imo, people are allowed to have preferences But the part about men being sexualised too is so true. The amount of big strong guys is popular media is a lot

We're not necessarily fighting feminists Not all of them. I heard a guy make a distinction between: Feminist: men = women "Feminist" men < women And it really made me rethink things. A lot of the time the feminists have no interest in cooperation with us, because we seem to hate them, even tho it's the "feminists" we're talking about

your side? We're all in this boat together, and offending helf the population won't help. We are here to discuss our rights, im particular the ones we don't have Not to insult "the other side" Your point is correct, but this is not an us vs them. There are bloody hell women here who want to help us, but that's never gonna happen if you view them as an enemy

Nah I don't support either of those (15yo boy myself) I feel like having to interact with people your age of both genders is absolutely vital Also, I just don't see how it could not cause any issues with non binary people for example (Can you imagine the amount of bullying that would happen to a trans boy surrounded by cis boys) And for the restricting internet: that's just plain discrimination. No two ways about it

Actually a hebephile If we wish for our movement to make any sense, we must use the correct terminology, even when others completely disregard any factually correct information We need to prove we're better than them, we need to prove our arguments are rooted in facts

They should have a say. Anyone should have a say. That's how democracy works There's a reason there are men protesting against abortion bans. Those are good damm human rights, and so are these The issue is not with a woman having a say, its with a woman having a misinformed or ignorant say

That's actually the perfect way Subtly just having male victims be recognised, without explicitly mentioning their gender --, because it doesn't need to be Specifically making the fact that the victim is male a big deal is imo worse than simply letting people instinctively pick up on the fact that men can be abused

None of the words in that sentence I agree with, except the "Too many muslims commit terror attacks" That's true. You sub muslim for man, woman, human, person, adult, kid, anything It's still gonna be true. That does not mean that other people who fit in that group should suffer because of it I hate the wording "too many men". It feels like it targets me in particular (I don't know why it feels that way, it doesn't actually do that) But I cannot deny that it's true (I mean, too many women is als…

I tried and it got deleted for the faq rule Tho simply searching "women or females" leads into a bunch of questions, where the vast majority of responses are critical of the term female as a noun

Go to r/askwomen and post the question there Also, why would you be arrested? Don't pressure anybody into answering, just move on if they give a weird look (To be clear, don't go bother people on street, if you want to ask someone in person, ask friends/family members)

A) Go ask random women whether they prefer to be referred to as a woman or a female. Also, I can safely say that as a man I don't like being referred to as a male either (Fe)male is fine as a descriptor but not as a noun referring to a person. It's dehumanizing and degrading. And even if it wasn't, still respecting someone's wishes to be called something is always a good thing to do, and I've never heard anyone prefer "a female", but I've heard the opposite plenty of times B) Saying women can be…

A) I know that women hate the usage of the word "female" in a context like this + you make it even worse by using "man" in the same sentence Let's just stay polite please. This sort of usage of language is one the most aggravating things, and the worst thing you can do in an argument is to annoy or anger the other party -- they'll never listen to you Arguments need to be polite and calm. B) Your comment is relevant to the post as a whole, I'll give you that. But it's not relevant to what I have …

How is that relevant to the conversation? The only point I was arguing was that it's not something all women can do, and if you can't sewm to form a single argument against that point, this conversation is over ig

Couple corrections: not white men, just men. Also, saying all women can make their living with no effort is a massive generalization. Some can, most can't If we want to have any ground in standing up for our rights, we need to make sure to only provide arguments that a) are factually correct b) don't offend people unnecessarily

I've noticed that myself too. I was having a conversation with my friend and his cousin a couple hours ago The cousin has been taken advantage of by older girls and was really happy for what it means for current and future male victims. My friend on the other hand is straight up misogynistic (he also verbally abused a woman on our valorant team despite us telling him to stop)

I just commented on a very reasonable post about most men supporting depp for the wrong reasons It acknowledged how the case is important for male victims of SA, but mentioned how there also exist misogynistic men who only cared because a man won against a woman

How? How can a father say "I want nothing to do with this baby" without having to pay child support If a mother can abort, a father should be able to on the first trimester say "I'm not paying"

If there are 1000 feminists, of which 999 are radical woman supremacists and one is a sensible person fighting for equality, then I'll focus on that one person, I'll co-operate with that one person, and I'll accept that the entire movement isn't corrupt, only the majority and the leaders. Sure, that means that nobody hears about the non radical ones. That's true. But they exist. Few and far between the radicals, there exist a few sensible persons, and this generalization of "feminists bad" is de…

Some do. I have an Irl friend who follows both sides of the coin (as do I) We often have conversations about trending issues on both sides, and are generally of the belief that both MRAs and feminists are viewing (Wrongfully!) this as an us vs. them, instead of co-operating

as I said, the current generation feminists are a bunch of dog crap I don't have time rn (sorry, I understand no proper examples is a bad thing) look into history instead: feminists are who got women voting rights, the right to make agreements and own property, etc. those are the real feminists
/r/MensRights27/12/21 10:25 AM

feminism is fighting for equalty of both sexes, feminists are not. the current generation is just full of #killallmen bullshit, I'm hoping in 50-100 years we'll have the same type of people who originally got women the right to own property, right to vote, etc

they have been pushing for equality for centuries... the current generation of feminists are just pushing for supremacy, and lost their chance. possibly the credibility for the entire movement, that had since then done some remarkable stuff, like voting rights, rights to own property, equal rights in marriage, etc I'm hoping that once this generation of karens dies, in the next 100 or so years feminism and mra migth do as they're supposed, and go hand in hand creating equality and fairness for b…

I'm not going to go there. those are the loud minority who seek supremacy most feminists are quiet, and don't wanna do anything right now, exactly because of all this tension let's look back at history instead, not at the current individual people, instead the movement throughout history

"Feminism is a range of social movements and ideologies that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes" first sentence from wikipedia men's rights are fighting to give men the same legal rights as women in the cases where women have better rights, while feminism is doing the same for the laws that are unjust for them and pushing for changing societal norms and stereotypes they feel are sexist both genders are favored in certain areas, and bot…
/r/MensRights27/12/21 06:37 AM

that sort of attitude on both sides is the problem as much as individual feminists seem to think feminism is about female supremacy, both feminism and mens rights seek the same goal of equality for both genders
/r/MensRights26/12/21 07:53 PM

fundamentally they both seek the same cause: equality for both (all) genders
