I remember reading a post on MRP (married redpill) about the types of dysfunctional captains (the husband) and their first officers (the wives). Basically, men always have to be the captain because it is not women's natural tendency/preference to lead, they prefer to assist. It sounds like your wife has a much higher SMV than you, and you were able to attract her due to superior knowledge, resources and maturity when she was younger. However, as time passes, she gains more perspective on life to…

Go somewhere else for the peace of mind. Mainly because: 1) You want to avoid the possibility of any argument or drama, or conversations that lead to them. 2) There's no need to monitor them? Do you really think her dad is coming to help her steal things from you?

It's just text, so no real threats to your job (meaning, not sexual harassment). Your embarrassment is something you have to get over yourself - it's in your head. Solution: Play it cool and go develop a oneitis for someone else.

Hmm, you don't sound empathetic or sympathetic tbh. Just guilt trapped. Guilt is not a good motivation so I would say cut her loose. Short pain vs. chronic pain.

Blowjob is a submissive act. She doesn't want to submit to you. You reacted to it. Move on.

LTR's mom went thru cancer last year (successfully), it sucked because I went through many episodes of emotional shitstorms with her just like your "sit here tonight" situation. I empathized and got emotional myself in the beginning just like you, but as those events (ie. breaking down, crying, venting) repeatedly happen, I grew numb and started feeling like an "emotional trash bag" for her (I guess a more human or BP way of saying this is to "be her rock") -- and I realized that it was the only…

In fact, if she comes out of this alive, she might have a whole new perspective on life that doesn't include you. Solid point.

Have your plate watch deepthroat videos and practice on you repeatedly. Reward by filming it. Tell her you'll give her 30% of your PHub profits. Slowly expand this business model and create your own film label, develop new plates, new porn stars, star in every film you make with your dick being the protagonist. As you age, you go into the "Old man fucks teen" genre. Rinse and repeat.

Anger phase is angry. For how long? A few months at least, maybe 1-2 years. Depends on what happens on this path later and what type of encounters you'll have. I would just say that don't let cynicism grow, don't beat yourself up over past actions, notice how you have an awareness now, and that's a sign of growth. Remember the goal is to be happy.

Easy. Tell her your 4-month rule to establish a basic boundary/rule, it will also set her to work towards gaining your approval for the next 2 months. Next, you can tell her: 1- I'll be sexually exclusive with ya, but emotionally I need more time (framing it this way makes her feel secure, yet leaving room for ambiguity = she has to continue to work to gain your approval). 2- Continue to vet and spin/fuck your other plates, no ways for her to verify. Technically you'll be lying but this serves y…

This is the problem of TRP, it preaches cynicism in newbies. The point of pursuing relationships is that there are long term goals that cannot be met in short-term plate swinging relationships - simple things like trust and intimacy; you cannot build them with a plate. Eventually it all comes down to personal experience and choice. I spun plates for 2 years, got tired of the lifestyle (and there are real residual costs to that kinda lifestyle - money on dates, time spent on meeting people is rea…

Rewatched Iron Man after unplugging, that scene at the end of Iron Man 2, on the roof where Pepper was losing her shit and going on an emotional rant. Watch Tony Stark's reaction, he didn't talk, just kissed her and calmed her down. Classic example of STFU and act.

I think it helps to communicate to her that, by weaponizing sex, she's actually distancing you (emotionally). Making her see that can help a lot.

I've had this happen to me. I hate how women weaponize sex DURING sex. I stopped plowing immediately - she felt unwanted and later said that I "bullied" her. "Well, I don't respond to threats."

I'd say it happens in every industry because every company needs "cheap" labor in some department or function, and those tend to be filled with unskilled/unmotivated/lazy people. My previous workplace was full of driven and motivated people. The downside was the intense competition. The new job is relatively more relaxing, but now I learned that I probably thrive better in a competitive environment.

Not unbearable yet. As you said, I should focus on doing my own work and care less about managing others, it's a shitty task and no one, including my manager, is expecting this task to be handled successfully -- I only realized it after this incident.

I find that I can discuss some of the "fights" but not the "fight club". A lot of girls (or guys) agree with concepts such as self-validation and frame. Without labeling these as Redpill, they'll just sound like regular psychology or philosophy topics.

I second this statement. I've come to terms with both TRP concepts of bashing desires to find "unicorns" (BP dreams - but it's only human, right?) as well as recognizing and expressing one's needs honestly (Frame). In my "post-RP awakening", a true love/unicorn is simply someone who can accept most of you for who you are. But the pre-requisite to achieving this is you having the ability to recognize your needs honestly, and you having the frame to express your needs honestly without bending will …

The comments man... I think most people want to be optimistic about marriage, myself included. But comon guys, we understand the concept of "on average" yet we optimistically think that we'll somehow be part of the positive outlier? Swallowing the RP necessarily implies that you address the reality as it is, and that's exactly what this post is about. Statistics and anecdotal evidence, AKA facts. I have a pretty darn good LTR right now and I still have to acknowledge the fact that my tastes and …

LOL @ comments saying he's paying for the girl. Let's stop pretending that money =/= power. He just has the "fuck you" money that you don't have. AF/BB is not a real dichotomy. In reality, Alphas have both fucks and bucks and Betas have little of both. The rich, nice-guy, Beta is a stereotypical example that exists only to highlight primal Alpha traits. Money IS frame. Those who rage about it aren't truly unplugged. They're butthurt and are using RP as a coping mechanism. True RPers will state both sluts/good girls and af/bb as plain facts. We deal with it as observed, not what we wish it was. It goes both ways, I'm a man, and I want to have fun with the sluts and settle with the good girl too.

My biggest takeaway from RP is that it made me accountable and responsible for myself. I deal with the reality as it is, not as what I want or imagine it to be. I also think that unplugging goes nicely with aging. I'm in my early 30s and I used to value relationships over other things too, now I value it very little. At times I doubted myself when I stopped giving fucks, but now I realized it was just a sign of growth. To answer your question, my satisfaction increased after becoming "RP aware",…

Now is the time to stay even more disciplined, and you will be rewarded for it. Wake up on time, avoid sleeping late, clean up your room, tidy up the clutter, start a bodyweight workout routine, learn to cook a new dish every day, watch a movie, a documentary, a new series, etc.

You should always be authentic. Faking something to appeal to others is a validation seeking behavior. If you repel some girls so be it, it's an odds game anyways, recognize the SMP for what it is, play the odds that are in your favor.
/r/askTRP27/03/20 03:52 AM

I don't think it matters. Have been to a few countries where it is legalized.. even in places where it is proliferated (ie. Thailand) the impact on the SMP is still minimal. SMV is determined by the opposite sex, men who value prostitution is still a smaller % vs. men who value organic sex. The same thing for TRP in general, BP is the mainstream, a few RP men don't change the SMP.

Following up on this. I previously thought 15x on $165 S&P earnings would be a base case scenario. My view was that caseloads will explode once the US starts testing, panic ensues, but people will also start to pay attention to stable and low death rates. But now Italy is at 7.7% death rate, which shows the importance of having enough ICU beds. If the market starts pricing in major outbreaks in US cities, we probably have more downside. If you have asthma you should be more cautious. All these bro comments are not helping. I lived through SARS in Singapore, most people in the US have no idea what they're dealing with and are not paying attention to the COVID-19 data (ie. mortality rate doesn't matter, severity rate does). The US is underequipped for this. Go for your jail workout routine. The US will dominate headlines in the next 2-4 weeks.

Ego death twice on high dose lucy (500 ug). Everything is literally in your mind. You deepest held beliefs and values will be washed clean. Lucy will make you a new-born again (in an adult body) without any existing perception or knowledge of this world (at least for the duration of the trip). It sounds like you're just not attracted to your "LTR" (6-7 weeks is a plate) but see the value in having stable access to sex. Nothing. If your BP friend is semi-aware of the flirting but he didn't say anything, he's secretly jealous and uncomfortable. You going to him will only confirm his hamstering suspicion. If he's not aware at all, then he might become triggered (by nature of being BP). Either way, it's not your job to point out the red flags in his girl by getting yourself personally involved. Last year alone I increased my N-count by another ~30 or so. I'm way passed the anger phase and Idk what phase I'm in now. Back in my HS days, my dad would wake up early to wake me up (essentially giving me daily morning calls), so that I didn't have to worry about oversleeping on my alarms. He'll also prep breakfast first, usually a ham & egg sandwich, before waking me up. After that, he'll drive me to school, and we'll chat or just sit silently to listen to the AM radio together. Well, you may have a different definition of love. But how do you love someone when you exclude them from your life? i cant talk to u, since u cannot save me She decided for OP without giving him any choice, then went on to fuck someone else and justified her cheating with "I didn't want to burden you with my condition so fucking someone else is the lesser evil". Remember when a woman says something, it reflects their emotions AT THAT MOMENT. "I love you." --> I love you NOW. Same thing for "I hate you." She wrote this under depression. She said she loved you but also admitted to cheating... a lot of hamstering going on. Seriously, if you step out from the "suicide note" frame and look at this post (which is exactly what we're helping you do), you can see the cognitive dissonance. Some mental gymnastics that I use to control my monkey brain: - First is to be aware and recognize when thoughts appear in my head. You can help yourself visualize by imagining watching yourself from a third-person POV. You're holding a banner, whatever you're thinking becomes words written on the banner. Now you see your thoughts (YMMV). - Understand that no matter how negative it is, it's just a thought. While I cannot control what I think, the though is still not ME. - Speak to my thought eit…

How long I took is irrelevant to you. The way we internalize new knowledge is to associate them with a pre-existing memory. That's basically how cognition works. So if you don't have a lot of experience, reading theories may not help you that much (and, did you even read?). The key is to practice, to walk the path (and less talking about how you know the path) until you doubt yourself, but you keep walking anyways until you have enough dots to connect in hindsight. So why don't you go to the gym…

Personal anecdote - Investing is a long & lonely road. Have patience. I used to work on the buy-side and for years I bought stocks of blue-chip companies (ie. MSFT) and got unsatisfied with the single-digit to mid-teens returns. Slowly started to trade options, which became popularized by Robinhood (no commission). I got lucky for 2 years prior to when the US-China trade war started (a few times I made 4-5x on my original investment), became greedy and impatient in the process. Slowly, my portfo…

Becoming self-validated takes time (read: years). No man is an island so we are always trapped by dogmas to varying degrees. Financial independence is a big step towards self-validation. Next is abundance, because you'll gain a realistic perspective into sex and relationship and how things are, in fact, mostly transactional. A common advice given here is to pretend to live as if your parents are gone. With nobody behind your back, what are you going to do? What are the decisions that you'll make…

I thought to myself, IDGAF about her, and I have all these "fuck you" mentality that is pointless if I don't say "fuck you". In hindsight, my frame was paper-thin and not where I wanted it to be. A lot of suggestions on DNA tests. A few points from my view: Assume it's yours, you gotta ask yourself what you want. Remember consensual sex is not consensual parenthood -- this is something you need to tell her. You are unwilling and not ready to be a father. Assume she absolutely wants to keep the child then you have two choices: 1- You hold frame and hold current life priorities. You know she doesn't know who you are so you're off the hook for legal responsibilities. 2- You be there for the…

You don't necessarily have to be overt about finding backup options. Things like keeping yourself in shape, and maintaining your own social life outside of your relationship, are your "covert backup options". Why? Because when you want to exercise those options, you'll be in the position to do it. What's the point of getting into an LTR if she doesn't improve your life? I would just enjoy being in an LTR if I decided to enter into one. If you're not prepared just continue to spin plates.

Self-validate. You're doing something for YOURSELF because YOU enjoy it. Don't worry about taking her on a date to please her, that's validation seeking behavior. If you do that and didn't get what you want (ie. no close/LMR/etc) you'll feel sour. When I set up meetings with new girls or want to hang out with an existing fwb, I pick something that I enjoy doing -- "Hey, let's go eat some smoked bbq ribs, I've been craving them" or "I'm going to this bar at XXX time to watch a UFC fight, come joi…

Good theory. We often project our ideals onto our lovers, this why RP knowledge is useful for preventing oneitis and recognizing red flags. I thought Breaking Bad was pretty RP. Beta family-provider nice-guy protagonist got diagnosed with cancer, forced himself to rethink life and what he wants to do for HIMSELF. Great plot, great character arc. The protagonist transforms from being a pussy-whipped dysfunctional soft dick to a Level 999 IDGAF Mandingo-Zulu Warrior dick, realizing his true Machiavellian nature. Lol... Who would you elect as your President when there're 3 candidates, all at their respective highest caliber. The 60yo, 40yo, or 20yo? Girls generally mature faster than guys and are innately better at covert communication, emotional manipulation, etc. A 21yo girl may have a preference for a younger guy, but when she's 25 she'll appreciate shrewdness and wit a lot more than a pretty face; in other words, she prefers someone who can humor her and see-thru her BS. No women want to be the moms …

How does gov't intervention get a parallel in the SMP? To which institution am I paying my SMP taxes to? There're no regulatory bodies in the SMP, if any it's probably the TRP principles that some people uphold as universal laws. The SMP is a zero-sum game, the girl that you failed to fuck will be fucked by someone else. Capitalism is not.

Not much I can add here, one thing came to mind (but might be just me talking out of my ass): Record all evidence of her cheating. Go to a psychologist/counselor and show them that your wife is cheating, get prescribed for depression meds. Pretend you're taking them and keep the medical records too, may come in handy during the actual divorce proceeding. So, it might be strategically better if you pretend you don't know and secretly gather more evidence of her cheating. Not sure if you think it'…

Get in. Show some intent...couple questions, tease, polarize, get out. Yup. This is exactly what I do when I go to parties. I say hi and introduce myself, within 30 seconds I'll know if the girl is interested in interacting more. If they're not I simply GTFO, doesn't matter what the conversation is about, I'll end it with something along the lines of "Cool, enjoy your night I'll see you around." Don't waste time trying to qualify yourself for the girls. You're the prize.

Well, most women don't have the capacity for such discovery when they're 20+, which is also, unfortunately, their peak. Sadly a lot of men blame women (the system, the Matrix) for lacking understanding in these things. I can really connect the dots now. Men in their 30s can slay so much more when compared to their 20s.

Women have lots of fantasies, and fucking an older guy is one. I'm 33. When I was younger I fantasized and looked up to girls who are more mature. I actually lost my virginity to an older school mate who initiated the sex. After becoming independent, both financially and mentally, I don't want to be led by any woman anymore. I want to sail my own ship, be my own captain. And to compare younger vs. older women, it's naturally easier to get a younger girl onboard to follow my leadership whereas ol…

I'm all for verifying theories in reality to examine their real usefulness. RP is very scientific for me but sometimes I run into conflicts, hence this post. It's also helpful to apply these theories outside of a sexual context -- "such as coworkers or even your boss, where incentives are more aligned". I really think RP has a lot to offer, but many young people just take it as a pseudo-science and apply them without real understanding (ie. next her because that's what alphas do).

women's incentives are far different at 33 than at 23. Yes. A 23yo is more fun, less troublesome, less realistic, more trusting, has smoother skin... I get all that, I'll rather plan a weekend with a 23yo going to a festival than a 33yo thinking about buying our first home. /r/askTRP24/04/19 08:51 AM

In a world full of vapid and terrible people, I've tried to be virtuous for too fucking long. You're going through the 'anger phase'. It's a half full vs. half empty problem, you can either see it as "there are good people, but enough bad people" or "there are bad people, but enough good people". It's fine to take a break and renounce worldliness for a while, but becoming cynical will not help you navigate the SMP. Like how some people bash RP (some of which I agree), it's really just a toolbox,…

Well, check back in 2 years and ask the same question in the mirror. I'm sure you'll feel more natural. Draining -- This is exactly how RP sharpens you. Women don't want to see how the sword is forged, they just want to see the shiny sword. Nobody said it would be easy, you'll have to deal with internal conflicts and self-doubts too. In the end, RP is just a toolbox, you dont need to become the textbook Alpha, you just need to be a better YOU.
/r/askTRP19/04/19 04:19 AM
6

Some core RP teachings that helped me, and I'm sure it applies to females like you too: You need to self-validate, get into the mindset of making decisions because you are comfortable with it, not because you want to please other people. The way I view the SMP, it's an odds game. You have to keep playing to meet someone you like, who also likes you back (at least) in the same magnitude. Where RP came in handy for me in terms of navigating the SMP is that, it helped me to set up boundaries by rea…

Two girls can both be objectively HB7, but I dig the slanty eyed short hair sassy bad girl more. So subjectively I like her better. Doesn't mean I can't fuck the other one. As long as they are all physically attractive...
/r/askTRP17/04/19 11:15 AM
8

If I really like them (cuddle after sex and having dinner together) then 2 is optimum... If I semi-like them then 3 (absolutely no staying over at my place). If I don't like them but I can put my dick in (pure fucking, no urge to cuddle) then 4+. Also, always put some investments into developing a healthy pipeline.

Thanks for the post, very timely for me. I'm at the stage where I can get sex regularly, but I can't remember 95% of them and I start to wonder why the fuck do I even want sex in the first place? So now I want sex from hotter girls, from girls that I feel affectionate towards, from girls who have a higher SMV... I'm becoming hypergamous? Last weekend I went to a date's home (second time meeting her), I knew I was already in her when she invited me to go over. Anyways, in the midst of fucking her…

What about the feedback loop in the SMP... especially for people who participate in casual sex. Is the same theory applicable? Take myself for example, I recently started to reflect on my lifestyle because I can't remember 95% of the sex I've had with random girls... only a few memorable ones standout. I feel like I'm chasing tails here, spending $$ and time on dates/drinks/getting to know people, and not remembering most of it.

I'm 32 and I've been unplugging for 2-ish years. Contrary to many others who found TRP due to cheating gfs, I found this place because I cheated and I wanted to find answers. I also lifted for ~4 years before I found TRP and I can deadlift 2.7x my bw. Finding TRP felt very natural for me, I just felt naturally "red". TRP was never about pussy for me. I never had problems with gaming girls. Even in my teenage years I was the "playboy" among my friends, the flirt that jokes with every female aroun…

You need get rid of this mindset of having support behind your back ASAP. There's nothing clear in adulthood, everyone's just winging it with more hindsight. And life sometimes feels like crossing the road, looking left and right, and getting hit by an airplane. You need to live as if your parents are not there for you. You're your own father, you validate your own actions. This is exactly how you build frame.
/r/askTRP04/04/19 06:50 AM
5

Not your fault. Some are indeed uncomfortable with "1st-time-bang". While TRP is correct is preaching organic attraction but how that theory applies in reality differs on a case-by-case basis. Some girls are uncomfortable with their own sexuality, nothing wrong with that. It's an odds game, you just have to keep playing. I've had dry periods of weeks followed up with 3 closes in 1 weekend. I would've preferred my fucking schedule to be more spread out too.

I have mixed feelings at times I want to convince her to get back with me,other times I don't. I have a male hamster, sometimes it wants to fuck with my emotional stability, other times it doesn't.

Lmao.. we'll need someone who's truly autistic altruistic to conduct that experiment for the community.
/r/askTRP27/03/19 08:24 AM
1

Probably not, it's a risky strategy and one that doesn't fit my character. Overall just too much effort for a simple goal (to turn her off). The fact that she's puking all these emotional BS to me, is an attempt to conquer me emotionally. If I yielded and let her stayed that night, I'm signalling that it's okay to come knock on my door and cry and break my frame anytime she wishes. And she'll 100% abuse this dynamic next time in order to achieve something in her favor (in fact, she's doing all t…

Let me check... Have a dinner date today to meet a new girl. Think my gunk is still liquid?
/r/askTRP26/03/19 09:29 AM

Sound advice. I need to be more machivaellianistic haha. No she doesn't have things at my place, I really only saw her twice. Second time after fucking we went to dinner and movies, it all felt normal. Oh well.
/r/askTRP26/03/19 07:48 AM

D Cup at least. Maybe the next man will enjoy them more than I do.
/r/askTRP26/03/19 07:20 AM

I was already on the bed when someone knocked. So I peeped thru the hole and saw her in teary eyes. I opened up and asked "why r u here?" And she just looked at me like she was about to cry.. I had a split second to think what to do next before she jump and wrapped her arms around me and bursting into tears. So yeah, I got soft. Told her to come in and talk. Wrong move since the very beginning. Lesson learnt.

Dad offered very little relationship/sex advice throughout my life. That's fine tho, since I got all of you bros.
/r/askTRP26/03/19 06:40 AM

Exactly. I can already imagine the emotional shit storm that she'll unleash if I carry on seeing her. This is the type of girl who will threaten people with suicide and cut herself.

If I wanted to take that route I would have fucked last night. No way...

/r/askTRP19/03/19 02:17 AM

Step 1 is to stop trying to internalize everything. With anything, the process of learning and eventually having wisdom is to convert what works for you. Write concepts that appeals to you in a note app in your phone, write them in your own words. Verify all theories in reality, some works better for you, some don't. Don't force yourself to absorb everything.
/r/askTRP14/03/19 08:26 AM

Not my only but one of the prettiest and most rational. She's given me minimum shit tests so far. I care because it's more fulfilling on my end too, I have 2 booty calls that I can use for just sex, but I'm trying to escape the "pleasure palace". I believe I have more to gift and gain from a deeper relationship, so I transitioned from just spinning plates to spinning fwbs. I'm not committing to LTRs but I'm tired of having sex with plates and not wanting to hangout with them.

Great suggestions. I'll try these.

I'm 32... youngest chick I banged is 20. Did it on first date. Never got the "you're a creep" once. It comes down to looks, how you dress, how you talk and carry yourself, how much knowledge/experience you have, etc etc. To illustrate: I can eat at a road side kebab cart or I can bring them to a Michelin restaurant, I can talk to them about what happened at the latest NY Fashion Week or what's happening on Wall St during 4Q earnings season, I can tell them my travel stories, etc etc. And in retu…

Anger phase is angry. To me, it sounds like you didn't really internalize all the concepts yet. You can identify theories and verify them in real life, but part of you still don't really accept it. "Why is world so fucked up?" Because you are not fully unplugged yet. Being out of rapport with the former value system that has supported you all your life feels uncomfortable, and it will get lonelier and lonelier. Until... You realize and fully accept that it's not people's fault, it's not wome…

Same thing for me. It's a sign of growth, because you're spending more time thinking and observing. Reading the side bar is one thing, internalizing the concepts, noticing behavior patterns, and applying those that work for yourself is wisdom. This process naturally requires you to be quieter.

Shattered Plates: Girl I met last year 2 weeks before NYE. Felt like love at first sight, I let myself indulge and developed a brief oneistis (I'm 32 and it's been a while since I felt it); it's fine I enjoyed that feeling. We spent NYE together, fucked but the sex did not meet my expectations. I lost interest immediately plus in the subsequent days, she was very manipulative through her shit/comfort tests, also intentionally ignored me at times to play mind games. What you need to realize, sooner or later, is that YOU wanted to indulge in oneisitis, and not because you truly love her. Know that saying "always follow your heart"? Well ya, my heart always led me to a fucking chlorine stink hole. Take the pill and follow logic instead. This is why the pros advocate achieving abundance, by being physically involved with other girls and becoming sexually developed/matured. The veil of love will be lifted and you'll be able to judge relationships on merits, and…

It really takes a long time to internalize it.. For me it has been nearly 2 years now. The tug of war feeling you're getting is from being disconnected with all the values that supported you all your life, and being out of rapport with a formerly "harmonious" relationship system is going to feel lonely. I'm close to being fully unplugged now after developing a brief oneitis for a girl I met in a different city last year. It was such a great feeling to feel those butterflies in my stomach (I ha…

I used to be the party king at my university, avid clubber, fun but stupid because I would drink myself to stupor (I'm 32 now, that was 7-8 years ago). Just read your posts and wanna thank you for the insight. Those posts are what I was looking for. Good points. I started thinking more about masculinity vs. feminity today, that aggression is actually one of the purest forms of masculinity. Girls with rape fantasies, girls who like submitting to dominant men, will in fact, submit to pain as well.

Put it this way, if she was at Marquee club in NYC she would still be hotter than most girls at the table. 5'10, good skin, long hair, cute expressions, well dressed, works out and have a thicc ass. I didn't wanna mention she's HB10 to draw attention to that cuz Im not having an oneitis (so far in 2019 I've already banged 6 new chicks -- not bragging but I'm trying to say that my scale for rating girls should be pretty accurate), I'm more interested in her behavior. Men-“if it works, do it” Women-“if it feels good do it” (or avoids bad feelings) This is true to a large extent; there are women who think like men though. In my own past encounters, I noticed that the more feminine women (ie. HB7+ hot chicks) are naturally better at emotional reasoning and manipulation; in fact, they are so natural at it I have to be constantly cognizant at identifying the sub-text in their words/behavior. I found red pill and MGTOW 2 days ago. Keep reading the RP side bar for a few more weeks, be patient, don't form judgement too quickly too, it takes a while to internalize everything. And like the idiot I was two weeks ago, I gave her a second chance. Love really warps a mans mind I guess. Stop blaming it on love, kill your own ego hamster too, you're a business owner now. I'm genuinely curious how old and how rich are those guys who keep claiming "money is not a factor" or "it's just 90% charisma/game". The dichotomy between judging women's SMV and rating them solely from HB1-10 based on looks vs. including factors such as female charisma is quite stupid.
/r/askTRP17/01/19 02:29 AM
3

+1 to this. The caveat is that this works (really well sometimes) when your own SMV is much higher than the girl's. Women implicitly know this too, and the lower-SMV girls feel validated when they are wanted (ie. fucked) by men of higher-SMV.

When it comes to LTR, you'll get better effects by praising vs. criticizing. "You look sexy when you sweat" is better than "you'll be healthier losing 10 lbs" (remember you're always talking to her hamster and not her logic; or at least the hamster is always there listening). Praising is actually very hard to do because you're trying to pinpoint to those qualities that are not praise-worthy, and you have to do it. But think of it as a challenge (and eventually an accomplishment for your masculin…

It's the half full vs. half empty problem. Initially you'll focus on the empty part but learn to use TRP tools to make life happier for yourself and your pursuits. Example from Way of the Superior Man on praising women: "I want you to be healthier, I care about you, that's why I think you should lose a couple of pounds" -- wife gets mad, life becomes unhappy, BP husband thinks why the fuck are women like that. "I think you look sexy when you sweat" -- wife exercises more, husband is in control a…

I'm typing this as I'm shitfaced drunk. Only young adults drink themselves to stupor. Don't do this, recognize that: 1) You need to be sharp to hold a conversation, and 2) alcohol hurts your sexual performance. But if you need the booze-boost to feel confident, have a drink. Girls love it when their men have a "big heart", and are emotionally generous as opposed to being very calculative (like a bitch). Anytime you find something puzzling or interesting, just go back to evolution, or think about how your girl would interact with his father (her first opposite sex encounter). I just started reading The Way of the Superior Man, it's honestly mindset changing and a lot more positive than books like The Rational Male (perhaps due to it's more spiritual approach). The feeling you got upon completing the race, is a reflection of you being on your edge... embrace that because only those who lean over it can experience real transformation. "Relax into fearless."…

Don't rationalize.... You need to work from the inside out. Relying on external things to change your mind set won't work (that well), just like chicks who dye their hair, get breast implants, put on makeups, etc etc. Getting ripped is the same thing, it helps you to build confidence but you cannot overly rely on it. That some aspects of RP make me go into a negative cycle, for instance the more you broadcast your SMV and status, the more hypergamous sluts you attract. I mean, I feel autistic af these days. Girls that don't bang you and make you invest? Next her because "you cannot negotiate attraction", because "a woman who make you wait for sex is never worth it." I internalized so much of it that I cannot "unthink" these concepts, and I feel I need to strike a balance between RP and everything that's not.

Yes that's a good suggestion to slap me back to thinking strategically. I got too butthurt from her text because I really like and I really look forward to seeing her. Back to the drawing board, never become more emotionally invested than the other person.

That's true. I guess I'll have to wait till we meet, why's the hamster sending this kinda msg to me though.. I hate feeling butthurt over this, what's the rational way to respond and deal with this internally?

Sure, her flight arrives at 10pm, she'll be tired, I get it. But it's not like we gonna fuck for hours. If anything I feel she's not attracted enough, that she feels a need to tell me to not to touch her. I guess I'm feeling a bit butt hurt.

So she spent money to fly over just to cuddle? She obviously invested (emotionally too) in this already.

I think it just comes down to achieving financial independence first (all these "You need frame" talks are useless and taken out of context; it's impossible for you internalize them at this age; just take my words for it and stop playing these mind games in your own head -- focus on what you can do in reality). Meanwhile you just have to make things work with existing resources, which include the home and care and whatever your parents are providing you with. I'm not sure how I would deal with s…

I was having a conversation with a buddy's boss (they are close and drink together after work). Guy is 45-50, have children who are doing very well in school, and of course making him very proud. However he's not happy with his wife, he didn't say much about it but the fact that he's always drinking after work and not going home shows it. I once asked him about the importance of having children because we all die one day, and there's nothing we can take with us, so having children is the only wa…

Nothing wrong except that she's less fun and more needy. With woman like that you'll have 3 roles to play, a good bf, a good husband and a good father. Fail at any category and you'll suffer. Basically they are more difficult to deal with, more shit tests, more demands, etc etc. But ofc if u're just looking to smash that's fine... then again, why not just smash a stunningly hot regular girl? U need mom's validation?

Story time.. During the last 2014 world cup, a bunch of my friends started betting and we got pulled into this chat group. James was one of my old friend that I've not met in over a decade (we live in different cities). He was really into soccer betting and apparently lost a few grands. Out of my surprise, Jame managed to borrow $5k from another friend of mine (Jack) in the chat group (they don't know each other prior to chatting and betting together in the chat group). Guess what happened, Jame…

Hard next is probably the real logical advice. I felt his pain so I got soft, also some personal bias on my end because I met her personally and she seemed really nice... Sigh.

They were in pure honeymoon mode prior, so he won't have discovered other red flags. Her parents are divorced btw, that might explain some of her daddy issues? Good call that she might have other issues. It's probably not worth it now to ask her for the full story (she simply won't tell would be my guess). If he wants to carry on he'll need to spend more time to learn about her background, family, etc etc.

You're right. I got soft when telling him to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Good to know that its possible. But damn, that means I haven't really met anyone that I'm really attracted to? I just thought that men are polygamous. Take porn for an example, no man will watch the same porn repeatedly, I firmly believed that it was just men's nature to seek different women. I've tried to focus on other relationship aspects outside of sex, and it worked for a while. She grew complacent, I felt unappreciated. We don't have a lot of common hobbies.. and it went downwards from the…

I'm struggling to swallow the pill to accept that NO women will ever love men in the way men need. I have friends who have wives that helped them improve or even occasionally taking up the captain role to lead them when they are lost. Maybe they did a better job in their relationship, I won't know. Yeah I got much to learn.

I'd say about 2+ years into our relationship. Nothing really happened, the passion just declined naturally? I've dated ~4-5 girls girls (meaning LTRs) before her and passion/lust just declined as we got further down the timeline. When I read that 40yo+ men still initiating on their wives every night I am genuinely surprised that they can keep things passionate. Some replies called out a porn problem. I've never taken this seriously since I watched porn since teenage years. But I see it now that …

Yeah u completely got it. I kinda blabbered in my original post so it wasn't very clear. It wasn't over because I cheated, it was over because my needs are not met. I doubled down on being nice to her after cheating to make peace with myself. Now that I'm at peace, it's clearly not working. It'll be pure stupidity to tell everything to her.

Re-read what you added to your comment. Now she's scared of me and I'm not sure how to proceed. She's asking me permission to do shit now, it's an adjustment and a true test of my ability to shut the fuck up. I'm really in the same boat as you. She's now scared of losing me and I'm losing frame to her tears.

Thank you very much for sharing. my needs are taken care of by a good woman, and that counts for a lot. That's what I don't have, and I think I did a poor job at communicating this problem. Have much to learn.

You're right. I don't know how to feel about the own-your-shit question. I completely get what you mean. I'm the first guy she seriously dated and lived with (she has not moved-in with anyone else), she's still very "pure-hearted" (naive/innocent/childish). Telling her that I cheated would destroy her... I'm a realist, I care only about the practical facts. There are two paths for me to achieve freedom, I pick the one that deals less damage to her. Idk what real value frame has in this context i…

Yes it was because it felt dangerous and new. She loves me, or at least she says so, but her actions are not considered "love" in my eyes. It's a loopsided relationship in terms of who spends more money/time/effort. I'll look into nofap, thanks
