Oh damn I not communicate what I was trying to say at all lol. I meant to say that the woman needs single in this hypothetical. Obviously a married woman should decline in a monogamous relationship. But I do understand that married women still get hit on and harassed.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:18 AM

Oh yeah not trying to discredit those women But the man is single in this hypothetical because that’s the only way it makes sense, not because married women can’t be hit on or harassed
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 12:08 AM

Oh yeah, that’s a much better way to go about it. I never cold approached women when I was single unless they gave me some kind of obvious sign This guy in the hypothetical is intentionally very forward
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:53 PM

Don’t worry, this is strictly a hypothetical experiment lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:43 PM

It’s completely ok to feel that way of course. I picked a question location on purpose
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:23 PM

That’s totally fair. Assuming he leaves you alone when you reject him, do you feel unsafe in any way?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:03 PM

I didn’t say they didn’t…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 10:02 PM

That’s totally fair, and I think for this hypothetical to work this is a single version of yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:59 PM

Oh yeah 100%. Can’t play the game if you’re gonna be a sore loser
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:56 PM

Oh yes definitely, I chose a less than ideal setting for this hypothetical on purpose
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:54 PM

Well yeah, there’s always a chance you’ll get embarrassed. That’s the game
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:53 PM

He takes no for an answer and you go on about your day
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:47 PM

I think for the sake of the hypothetical, this is a single version of you, and you’re having a bang on average day. Nothing great has happened, nothing bad has happened. As far as his fitness, I’m just trying to paint the picture of a man who tries to be presentable, but is a pretty average guy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:46 PM

That’s perfectly fair. Do you experience encounters like this often? As a pretty normal looking dude I’ve only been approached by a woman once in public, so I’m curious
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:43 PM

Well duh lol. I just wanted to see what the general consensus was. Most of my female friends like to be approached as long as it’s respectful, despite what the internet says
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:39 PM

continue working on yourself. dating odds didn’t get decent for me until after 25. but they won’t ever improve if you don’t actively try to improve yourself shit is tough at your age bc you’re competing with men who are already established in life
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 11:46 AM

the internet isn’t real life. don’t let russian psy ops stop you from getting your dick wet
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 11:41 AM

as someone who has been medically underweight/near underweight, people treat me so much differently now that i have a pretty aesthetic physique. both men and women it’s a hard pill to swallow for a lot of guys that they need 2 years (minimum) in the gym to actually improve their appearance, but it’s well worth it
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 08:49 PM
1

i dunno man. i wouldn’t post images of the woman i’m talking to now, but she’s a lot better than a 3 or 4 lol. 5-6 years ago when i was borderline medically underweight, i was invisible to women completely
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 03:09 PM
1

i dunno man, i think i’m average looking other than being fit (you can sorta see what i look like) and i get attention from women in a similar league
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 04:10 PM
2

my own personal experience is that meeting women means nothing until you cross a baseline level of attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 05:41 PM
1

you realize i’m a man right? and lifting weights helped me so drastically. i was invisible to women before
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 02:15 AM
1

how long have you been training for? but yeah that’s really important too. although it does you no good if you look like shit. and my physique before lifting was pretty shit so i would know lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:32 AM
2

i mean that’s a fine standard to have but has it made you more attractive to women or not lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:25 AM
1

the woman i’m seeing currently looks pretty good to me and is certainly not obese lol. i know what’s worked for me and im pretty average looking otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:23 AM
0

and does it not help you with women?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:20 AM
1

yall stay coping about the gym. i had a shit physique at 20 and i have a good one now at almost 30 and dating is way, way easier now
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:17 AM
-1

idk man. i’m almost 30 and those who are not taking care of their bodies look like shit now.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:45 AM
1

well yeah, your face and charisma matter too of course. but very few men are handsome enough to pull at 100lbs looking like a 12 yo it’s about the whole package. if the average guy actually put the work in, he’d be pretty above average
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:35 AM
0

i mean i think all of my friends that are successful with women lift
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:33 AM
1

meeting 100s of women does nothing for you if you’re built like a bag of milk
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 12:26 AM
4

practice. like everything else. but for me personally i became much more comfortable in social situations after improving my physical appearance
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 11:51 PM
2

just what i listed. not that those things will work for all men, but most. more than 50%
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 11:44 PM
3

social skills are incredibly important but you have to cross an attractiveness barrier for it to matter imo
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 10:15 PM
3

??? you might need to get checked out. i work construction and i can still get to the gym 4x a week and find time to skateboard too
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 09:48 PM
0

you can become less weird and awkward though lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:56 PM
-2

i’m pretty busted but it can be offset by a good physique, style, and having some amount of charisma
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:54 PM
1

i mean that’s life bro. the things that are really worth it are few and far between
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:45 PM
1

socializing is a learned skill though. most men could improve here if they wanted to
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:42 PM
1

for those of us who don’t have attractive faces, you gotta cross that threshold to where women are gonna be into your body
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:28 PM
0

you should man. it works out much better than the apps for me. but it’s a numbers game for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:23 PM
1

i don’t agree with all of it, but i think it would work. which parts seem the most difficult to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:20 PM
1

do you make attempts to approach women?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:18 PM
2

yeah men have to try harder on average but that’s the game we’re playing
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:15 PM
2

i genuinely think most men who are struggling would have a decent time dating if they had an above average physique
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:11 PM
2

why because it’s difficult? i mean genuinely improving your physique to the point that others take notice takes years
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:08 PM
2

did you ever get to a point where you had an above average physique?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:06 PM
3

there’s truth to this but you can absolutely improve social skills
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:03 PM
3

what’s funny is that i didn’t grow a beard or start lifting for women. i just wanted the other men i worked with to respect me more as a man
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:02 PM
3

i do think that women have more specific types that men generally speaking
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 08:00 PM
1

do you think you have an above average physique now?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/26 07:59 PM

i think it’s pretty safe to say ppb type relationships are more transactional in nature than dating in your typical relationship back home. not always, but generally.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 05:21 PM
3

how many men fit this criteria? 10% of the population?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 07:28 PM
11

agreed. men in this sub have called me chad and i’m 5’9, 160, and pretty damn average looking lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 07:23 PM
6

can you define chad?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/26 07:15 PM
13

“Even if she’s not into a guy in real life, he’s there. He can talk. He can make his move. Online, she’s untouchable — she decides everything, with no accountability. She can behave like a dictator over her options, and men are powerless.” use hinge then? you can message before matching
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 02:30 PM

i mean speak for yourself but i’m not quite 30 yet and definitely not interested in women much younger than 25
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 04:03 PM
1

and what’s your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 05:04 PM

yeah i mean for me sex is about the shared connection. if she doesn’t want it i don’t want it either
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 06:23 PM

if a woman entertains a man she’s not attracted to at all, that’s also on her lol
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 04:56 PM
50

what is missing on the man’s end is the feeling of being desired/wanted. no matter how good she is at what she does, he knows he had to pay for it but i don’t necessarily disagree with what you’re saying as a whole
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 03:16 AM
-1

it is a vehicle for black pill slop 100%, but i do think it’s invaded the mainstream to some extent and of course there is a point where your height as a man becomes a real detriment in dating, but you aren’t fucked just because you’re under 6ft
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:49 PM
-2

height. tall is a plus, but the biggest womanizer i’ve ever met was under 5’9
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 04:39 PM
1

lmao maybe if i was very wealthy i’d be concerned about something like that. it’s also really not that hard to tell if she likes fucking you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 07:15 PM
1

dude what? i think for most people 6 months of dating is enough to determine if there’s good physical chemistry or not. she either likes sex with you or she doesn’t at that point
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:51 PM
1

“So what does "showing chemistry" look like to you? Because that's what I was asking.” how does she look at you when you look her in the eyes? what’s her body language like? is she focused on you or is she distracted by her phone or something? does she say anything positive about your appearance? is she hesitant to touch you? if you pay attention you can tell if there’s chemistry or not. but you’ll never know how you stack up to the last guy she was with, which is your original question lmao. i …
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 04:08 PM
4

bro being solicited by a hooker is not the fucking same as having a woman meet you for a first date… again dude, how am i gonna get used for a $5 coffee? that’s just a cost of doing business if i wanna date. i’m not dropping real money on someone who can’t show me chemistry, so that’s not even a concern
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:10 PM
2

if you’re going into the first date worried about if she’s using you i really don’t think you’re in the right mindset and a lot of women now are perfectly fine buying their own coffee or a drink on the first date. although i really don’t mind buying if i’m into her
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:52 PM
3

they’re similar but not the same. if you don’t make the same moves as the last guy you can’t expect to see the same results but genuinely i don’t care about how she treated the last dude or how quick she puts out. i’m not big into casual sex, so i’d like to go on at least a date or two anyways to get to know her. there’s gonna be a connection there or there’s not. maybe she did like the last dude a little more. why does it matter if she still wants me? and sometimes it’s a bust and i know immedi…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 01:57 PM
5

damn brother, well i genuinely hope it all works out for you. steroids have fucked up some people very close to me i understand the struggle though, i lifted weights for years to go from underweight to normal looking guy. i’m probably like 5 years into lifting now and it’s finally starting to look like i actually lift weights lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 01:42 PM
12

bro it’s not that serious holy shit please tell me this is not real
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 03:00 AM
10

man this sub fucking kills me lol i can never tell if any of this is forreal like if you go on a date with a woman and you don’t smash it was just a total waste?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:38 AM
5

it’s like they get embarrassed to have gone on a date/dates with a woman to not have it end in sex
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 02:07 AM
8

dude what? if you’re secure in yourself you won’t be tripping over whether or not she’s into you lol. after a few dates you definitely know
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 01:57 AM
18

i feel like the only real answer here is to be more secure in yourself. time spent thinking about how she treated the last dude is better spent figuring out if she’s really into you
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/26 01:33 AM
1

this is hilarious but not true in my experience. well, ugly girls are gonna work harder, but my friends that really pull aren’t going home with ugly girls
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 08:33 PM
1

ain’t no way unc im pretty busted but even i can do better than 3s lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 08:23 PM
2

why would an 8 not be 80th percentile and 9 90th?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 09:02 PM
1

this is literally just in your head man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 08:30 PM
1

if 5 is median and 6 is 1std above, then isn’t an 8/10 hotter than like 97% of women? that makes no sense
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 08:13 PM
1

nah he’s like 5’7, but handsome and fit. my point was that if he’s got options that are all hot, someone with the same qualities who is 6’3 is swimming in them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 06:02 PM
1

i dunno man, i have a conventionally attractive friend who’s too short to even be in the “chad” category (i think) and looking thru his matches on hinge or tinder is crazy. theyre all hot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:38 PM
1

fair, but chad isn’t sleeping with 5s and 6s
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 05:11 PM
3

i mean an 8/10 is below top tier but still very attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 03:09 PM
3

i mean the halo effect is real, but those guys are often genuinely nice guys too at least in my experience. it’s all anecdotal.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:36 PM
3

i mean yeah i literally said that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:28 PM
9

not disagreeing at all
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 02:25 AM
18

anecdotal evidence but i think on average the “chads” i’ve known in real life are typically nice, well adjusted people. a couple of them married early, actually. i mean they have nothing to be upset about (generally). tall, athletic, good looking
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 01:00 AM
25

this sub is so fucking funny… you know the attractive women have rotations too right? and not every man with options wants to sleep around
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:57 AM
14

what the fuck even is this why cant yall make women cum you’re the real loser OP
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 12:49 AM

bitch what the fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 03:43 PM

sometimes i comment or post in here so maybe a young man will realize that dating isn’t that bad if you try hard enough
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/26 07:46 PM
1

that clavicular kid has like 700k followers on tiktok and he’s out here telling kids to punch their faces to accentuate their jawlines lol. it’s mainstream now
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/26 01:04 PM
41

look at fitness culture or online blackpill/looksmaxing content and tell me men are secure in their appearances
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/26 11:20 AM
4

yeah, being well rounded is important for sure. you could have a great physique, but still struggle dating if you can’t talk about anything beyond working out
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 02:49 PM
4

i mean it depends on like your baseline attractiveness i would think. if you’ve got a handsome face and you’re tall then for sure, for the average joe, probably not.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 02:19 PM
2

truthfully i don’t know what trp says about behavior, but black pill thinking can’t be good for anyone
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 12:24 PM
5

i mean your face def matters. but there is a baseline level of fitness where you’re obviously healthy even with a shirt on. in america where most people are overweight/obese, getting to that point is huge.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 12:22 PM
3

no lie detected
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 12:15 PM

yeah, 100% agree. the gym changed my life considerably, as both men and women treat me much better than they did when i was borderline underweight, but you’re not gonna have women throwing themselves at you cause you hit 2 plates on bench or whatever. i still feel like as a whole, men struggle most with socializing with women. looking good shirtless isn’t gonna help you if you can’t to women normally (or people in general)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/25 12:11 PM

Yeah there’s probably truth to that
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 03:41 PM

IME, men shit on other men for being short/small just as much as women do. I was never too short compared to my peers as a kid, but I was really skinny, and it was never girls that gave me shit for it

“It's not like QB chad is surrounded by doughy, ugly buffoons” Highly debatable if you’ve ever looked at the average high school O-line
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 11:52 AM

The bartender/professor/surgeon example makes no fucking sense lmao, but neither does anything else on this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 12:34 AM
2

I mean if hypothetically I were a woman, and I wanted to bang a POS guy, it would be nice if I could get an abortion lmao. Both men and women make moral concessions when it comes to who they wanna sleep with.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 02:12 PM
3

It just entirely depends on where you live my guy. In the rural south your POV is the norm, in LA or NYC that shits gonna work for you, unless you’re undeniably very attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/25 02:06 PM
6

So much word salad to say that liberals are pussies, and that’s why they have no luck dating. I don’t think it’s really that simple. Even if we follow your logic that conservatives make better life partners/fathers, fewer and fewer women are seeking to build conventional families. On top of that, YMMV, but women really aren’t gonna want to get with men that don’t support their body autonomy Is it cringe to try and use politics as a means to get laid? Sure, but it’s always cringe when politics be…

Yeah, very good point actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 07:25 PM

Lmao yea exactly. But a lot of dudes just wanna hear that shit isn’t their fault
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 06:25 PM
4

I do think a lot of men could benefit from the behavioral stuff. I know that’s what keeps me sane. At the same time though, a lot of dudes have serious problems that are probably best handled by a professional.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 04:04 PM

Just look at my Reddit profile. I don’t have any other social media to send you
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 10:47 PM

If you look at my profile, how would you rate me? I posted my experiences here once and said I was an average looking guy, but like half of the comments called me Chad, which is crazy imo. I’m 25 and 5’9
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 10:27 PM

God you’re stupid. Can you not understand how the overprescription of Oxy led to the fentanyl crisis? You do understand that very few people begin opioid addiction with fent. Yes, fent is coming from China, but they wouldn’t have a market here if it weren’t for script happy American doctors, and that was the point of the original comment anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:30 AM
2

The sacklers definitely did everything they could to change how both the public and doctors saw the drug, but someone practicing medicine should understand the addictive nature regardless imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:40 PM
3

Just because fent is coming from China currently doesn’t mean that American doctors didn’t wildly overly prescribe opiates like oxy. Both things can be true. American doctors played a huge role in creating the opioid epidemic here.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:29 PM
1

You’re not wrong; a lot of people settle in unhappy relationships, but I don’t think that invalidates the need for self love/sufficiency. The average person is making dumb ass decisions all the time, and while it’s impossible, I think we should all strive to be better than average
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 05:28 PM

Nah, I’ve personally been able to improve myself enough to end up with a good woman despite getting no action as a young adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 05:44 PM
2

Right? When I started going to the gym it was definitely in part to attract women, but there wasn’t any rhetoric behind it. I think people are grasping for one single ideology to fix all of their problems
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 04:45 PM
2

Right. I remember when Chad was 6’2+, ripped, chiseled jaw, ect. To these dudes here it’s anyone who’s halfway in shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 04:43 PM
-2

Lmao this entire sub is about sharing opinions. Don’t get your feelings hurt
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 08:30 PM
8

Well that’s fair to some extent. But if a young couple is going months on end with no sex, they just aren’t sexually compatible IMO
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 08:06 PM

Chalking it up to either red pill or blue pill has never made sense to me, but maybe I don’t understand them well enough. Being attractive to the opposite (or same) sex comes down to how attractive and personable you are. Some people are born with natural beauty and don’t have to put in any sort of work at all. More average people are going to have to work on their appearance and social skills, gym, style, ect. Some people will have to work through social anxieties. Other people get dealt the sh…

If your girl only wants sex once a month you are not hitting it right lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 06:15 PM

My boy that’s dating a single mother has been with childless women in the past. He just likes her. He’s also one guy out of 12-15 of us. My friends have the self awareness to not demand fit women when they themselves are a little overweight. I don’t ask my friends the body counts of their partners. That’s really not my business. I told you that they’re on average, good women. They work, contribute equally, ect. And I can assure you that not one of my friends would stick around for a cheater, but…

? Like I said it’s something that I had to work through, but it’s behind me now
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 01:51 AM
16

It was 100% something I had to work through myself before I was able to have a healthy relationship with sex. I thought that I’d simply lose the desire to watch porn once I found someone, but that was not the case at all. I don’t think absolute abstinence is required, but porn should never take away from sex/romance with your partner.

I’ve been in the 160 range for a bit now but it’s still really easy for me to drop weight. And honestly, lean at 160 is pretty good considering my starting point. I think if you stick with it you’ll get the results you’re looking for. If you’re average height you will probably have to cut some if you want visible abs, but not everyone wants that. And there are definitely a fuck ton of dudes on sarms currently, which is really sad because there are always consequences to using PEDs, but I guess t…

I’ve been lifting about 3 years. Started super skinny, probably like 135-140lbs, now I’m like 155-160 and roughly the same BF%. Right now I’m squatting 225 for 3x10, bench 175 3x8, and I’ve been doing RDL instead of deadlifts for a bit now, so no idea what they look like. I don’t have a lifting partner so it’s hard to lift to failure, and I’m pretty happy having gained 20lbs. For me to continue gaining good weight I would probably have to stop skating, since there isn’t enough time in the day fo…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 02:23 PM

Yeah I don’t know about that. Women do have more options in the modern world than they did previously, but when I look at couples they’re generally around the same level of attractiveness as one another. Obviously there are exceptions though, and some people enjoy features that aren’t conventionally attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 02:16 PM
2

Lmao I’m definitely not 95th percentile. Those dudes have women literally throwing themselves at them
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 02:09 PM
2

Yeah I’m giving my self a 7 at best. And yeah, people are going to skew towards being more attractive at the gym. I just don’t understand the men here who think you need to be an 8+ to be in a fulfilling relationship. My gf is pretty damn cute, a well adjusted person, and has a great job. Not a supermodel, but I’m not either lol. We’re looksmatching according to this sub I would think, which is normal. People usually don’t date way up or way down
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 11:43 AM
2

Yeah 8+ is crazy for sure. Those guys are like 6’2 and ripped with conventionally attractive faces.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 11:36 AM
3

The point I was trying to make when I posted was that most dudes could float between 3.5 and 7 pretty easily depending on how they take care of themselves. If you workout and dress yourself decently you can at least be a male butterface, which will take you way farther than a lot of these dudes will admit/realize
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 01:42 AM
1

Cap. I’m at the gym right now. There are 15 dudes here taller than me, bigger than me, and with better looking faces. I’m closer to 5 than 10 for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 01:05 AM
4

They’re chronically online, but maybe more importantly out of touch with reality. When men from this sub looked at my profile (I’m a man) they rated me as an 8+. One guy said 95th percentile. You can see what I look like. I’m 5’9. Better than average in the sense that I’m in shape/go to the gym, but not 95th percentile or even close. The men here severely overate themselves I would guess
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 12:31 AM
1

I mean my girl has a college degree and a corporate job. Can’t say the same for most of my friends, but not all of em. If you make decent money and present yourself well it’s not really an issue
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/24 09:44 PM
1

Do you think that’s achievable for the average man? I think it is, except for maybe braces, although having a crooked smile hasn’t really affected me personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:26 PM
1

That’s fair enough I can’t say I’m really educated on the subject
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:24 PM
1

They’re generally speaking, pretty good women. One is a single mom, but she’s got her shit together and not dependent on her bf to raise her kid. Couple of em are moderately overweight, but so are some of my homies. All of them work full time jobs. Most are still childless, although some of my friends are starting to get married and have kids. I have no idea what their sexual history is like though lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 12:50 PM
2

Idk anything about the Midwest bro but the country girls down south def fuck with blue collar men and will not have a problem with you being a conservative
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:50 AM
1

Brother you need to move 💀 I promise you that’s a problem for dudes in Texas or Alabama
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:45 AM
1

I mean some of the country girls down here are a little rough lol, but definitely not all of them. All of the south seems to be pretty friendly to blue collar workers since the area is overwhelmingly conservative
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:43 AM
2

Some people do. I guess it depends on where you are though. I live in the south and redneck women are definitely into working men. Not my type of lady lmao, but if that’s your thing there’s a lot of em down here
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:20 AM
2

Nah my girl has a college degree and I work in the trades. Maybe this is unbelievable, but she actually makes more money than me
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:05 AM
1

Ok that’s fair. As far as only physical attractiveness is concerned, what does it take to be a 7/10 as a guy? To be a bit more specific, a younger man, between ages 18-30
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:07 AM
1

Not at all. But I 5’7 mf will say it’s over lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:05 AM
1

Let me ask you this, what does it take to be a 7?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 01:44 AM
1

Agree with the first part for sure. A lot of dudes are 20lbs, a haircut, and a better outfit away. Some people are truly involuntarily celibate- although that dude who was running 8chan (I think) in the wheelchair was an OG incel, but he eventually lost his virginity to a woman with a fetish for disabled men. With internet access your dating pool is so massive that almost anything is possible, even if unlikely.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 01:34 AM
1

Something isn’t adding up there bro. If you know for a fact that uglier men are doing better than you, then you’re obviously doing something that is turning women off. But also I think you’re a liar lmao very few people deadlift 880 with visible abs. If you could, you would be a gigachad lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 01:28 AM
2

Speak for yourself bro but I don’t like to eat junk food. I’m too active. I’d rather eat healthy things and have energy to do the shit I want to. Difficulty is not a measure of worth, but simple does not equal easy. Yea the simple compound lifts are the best, and anyone can learn them, but very few master them. My point is that nothing worth your time will be pleasurable at first. Making changes to your diet is hard. Starting at the gym is tough. Learning a trade is hard. If these things weren’t…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 06:26 PM
3

Man planet fitness is $10 a month. You can eat for than chicken and rice and be fit. Y’all just making excuses for yourselves. There’s not shit in this world worth doing that’s truly easy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 06:08 PM
2

But we treat women the same way. That’s life humans are vain. Most men don’t want to be with a fat woman. And that’s ok. Some won’t settle for a short girl either.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:43 PM
2

Brother, If all it takes to get laid is not being overweight or obese, then that’s a change the average dude needs to make. Once you start making positive changes in life, you build good habits, and now all of the sudden you look forwards to cooking healthy foods and working out
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:42 PM
2

I mean, I think that first group of men you listed clearly fits into those with “social flaws” that I outlined in the title. Social anxiety can be improved on though. I was awkward as fuck as a 19y/o with body image issues. And I still don’t get the 6 foot thing. All of my homies are under 6ft and dating. Even the ones who are 5’6 or 5’7. Although, it’s tougher for them, they make up for being short by being fit or being well put together dudes with successful careers
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:34 PM
0

I mean, it’s working for everyone I’m cool with irl, and not one of us is a “chad”. And learning new hobbies/skills doesn’t have to be expensive. Planet fitness is like $10 a month. I learned to work on cars with all my friends because we were all broke in our early 20s driving vehicles older than we were
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:56 PM
1

My point is that it’s not really hard to boost your physical attractiveness if you try. I went from nearly underweight to looking healthy/strong (relatively) and it changed the way people interact with me. I mean no shit it can be rough if you’re unattractive or average as a man, but not really that many dudes are actually trying
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:13 PM
1

My point is that I have a regular looking face. Some good features, some bad features. But I’m physically fit, and that’s boosting me up quite a bit when most people around me are overweight or obese. There are variables that you can control. People in general did not treat me as well when I was super skinny
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:05 PM
1

This is what I’m thinking too
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:39 PM
3

You might just surprise yourself if you stick to it man. I know it’s hard to eat well when you’re blue collar working OTR but it’s possible
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:38 PM
1

You gotta work through that shit man. I watched the two most important men in my life throw everything away chasing sex/drugs. The truth is that there are plenty of women in this world who won’t categorize you as an abuser off rip
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:28 PM
0

My brother I get that women (and other men) won’t treat you very nicely when you’re uglier. I spent most of my early adulthood borderline underweight. But, once I made some progress in the gym, my life improved drastically. You have to try. There are a lot of 4s and 5s in this world that wanna be with 7s and 8s
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:25 PM
2

…I mean, my gf and I cook together, clean together, and have sex together??? Would be hard to do those things with a woman if I lived with my mom
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:22 PM
4

I have a pretty bad jawline but my beard hides it. But you also have no idea what your face is gonna look like under the baby fat until you lose it. Which I know it’s difficult for some people to lose weight, but it’s not like it was easy for me to gain 20-25 pounds of good weight either
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:48 AM

It’s really depressing honestly. I know dudes meme on hitting the gym and working on yourself, but like… sometimes you need to do that. I was not attractive to women when I was 19, super skinny, and living with my mom. But I worked on myself some and then who would’ve guessed it, people are interesting in dating me
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:20 AM
3

This fucking has to be part of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:25 AM
6

Have you considered that treating women like shit in turn produces partners that are less than ideal lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:04 AM
9

Nah gotta disagree there my girl would leave my ass if I was on some Andrew Tate shit
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 04:00 AM
1

Lmfao I’m not saying there won’t be women who don’t give a shit if you’re hot enough, but being a piece of shit isn’t helping average or below average dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:56 AM
1

Yeah my post wasn’t really referring to people like you. There seem to be a growing number of men on the internet that cannot date at all though, and I’m wondering why that is
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:31 AM
1

That’s a really interesting problem to have. Surely if you can get a doctor in bed then you can find someone else who maybe is more compatible? But also if you’re been on 50 dates it’s hard to say you’re struggling to date entirely. Like you’re getting dates lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:19 AM
1

Yeah a weird work schedule can limit your options but women like to get high too bro. Believe it not, lots of them will get high with you and have sex with you
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:13 AM
2

I mean I can see how having obscure interests makes things harder. But building a robot is still cool. That’s way better than the average dude who only watches Netflix and scrolls tiktok
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:10 AM
1

What eccentric hobbies do you have?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 03:00 AM
1

I’d say social skills matter a bit less for women, since men are generally hornier and lonelier by nature. Just more likely to be desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:47 AM
2

You don’t need a basic bro hobby. It could be making music, creating art, although there probably is a benefit to hobbies that make you look more traditionally masculine if we’re being real.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:46 AM
2

Nah, but I can look at my own life and see that all my friends are dating too. None of us are rich, super jacked, tall, ect. So I have to wonder, you know? Is it just coincidence? Like I can gauge how attractive my group of friends is. There are like 12-15 of us, none of us are chronically lonely
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:45 AM
2

Nah bro there’s definitely some 8s and 9s in regular places. I’m not gonna comment on women since I’m in a relationship, but I see dudes at the gym all the time who are 6’2+ and muscular. Many of which have better looking faces than I do lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:41 AM
3

Yup. The most chronically single dude I know will say misogynistic things in front of women and then wonder why they can’t stand him
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:36 AM
1

I mean I don’t understand how it’s really a problem that older men have more success. Like not from the perspective of a man at least
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:32 AM
2

I’m just saying there are certain real life skills/hobbies you can have as a man that will make you seem more attractive to women
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:29 AM
4

But you don’t need to meet women at these activities anyway. That’s what online dating is for. Put some effort into your appearance and have hobbies beyond nerd subcultures that are known to be toxic towards women. It’s ok to like trading card games and anime, but if that’s your whole personality, you won’t get laid unless you’re hot
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:27 AM
3

By having other male dominated hobbies that don’t make pussies dry
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:21 AM
1

I could easily be balding with a patchy beard if I had low T from being overweight/obese
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:21 AM
2

Cmon now dog. I’m not a 9.5 out of 10. 7 is pushing it. If I shave my beard knock me down at least a whole point.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:17 AM
4

All I’m saying is that these dudes who act like the game is rigged probably aren’t trying hard enough. Like no shit you can’t get laid if you have an average face and you’re obese. That’s gonna drag you down to a 2 or 3 when you should be a 5 or 6. I don’t think women are quite as effected, but as a trade off they’re expected to wear makeup and shit. I’d rather just go to the gym (and a lot of women do both obviously)
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:15 AM
1

Most women that are chronically single have the same problems. But I think fewer young women are single cause they generally have better social skills. Generally
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:09 AM
2

I’ve got an average face. I just go to the gym in a country where most people are overweight
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:05 AM
3

You don’t need a co-ed hobby to reap the benefits of social interaction. But at the same time, dudes definitely do yoga as well. At least at my gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 02:03 AM
5

I think that’s a silly reason to be alone. A lot of men are shit partners but you seem to have self awareness.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:39 AM
3

But here’s the thing, in terms of a weightlifting/body building perspective, I have shit genetics. I’m just trying some, and that’s enough to get laid
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:37 AM
2

Lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:34 AM
3

Can you link it? I’m genuinely interested
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:34 AM
3

Hahaha I’m riding a 32 inch board but if you really want me to I’ll get someone to measure me. Last time I checked I was a little over 5’9 without shoes on. I do have proportions that make me look taller than I am though
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:33 AM
8

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhsr/nhsr179.pdf CDC says 45% for men, 67% for women for ages 15-49. I wonder if women are more likely to want children though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:31 AM
4

I mean there are definitely factions of the Internet that argue women are happier alone, but I don’t know many women that truly enjoy being alone irl, if any at all. But yeah it’s hard to date living at home as an adult. But assuming you get your own place again there’s nothing stopping you, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:27 AM
2

Same. I didn’t feel good about myself when I was 135lbs. I had no self confidence because I looked like shit. But it bothered me enough to work towards changing it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:25 AM
4

Yeah exactly what I’m asking
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:21 AM
5

Yeah that’s fair serious might be an exaggeration. Although I would argue if you have problems that are serious enough to prevent you from finding romantic fulfillment, then they’re serious problems for you. Poor social skills can be improved upon. A lot of the population is overweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:06 AM
3

What do you find is preventing you from dating then?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:04 AM
3

Man some mfs will really act like that though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 01:01 AM
4

That first stat isn’t that crazy. I’ve had a year long dry spell. And from 18-20, I lost my high school friends, the few I had, and really had to work towards building new friendships and trying to meet women The second stat is pretty concerning I’ll admit
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:59 AM
1

Yeah I think if you leave that environment you can def find some success
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:38 AM
0

Man kids don’t smoke hookah anymore though lmao. I feel like there are plenty of college bars alive and well. Maybe not as many as there used to be, but that’s ok
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:37 AM
4

Do you think those incredibly intelligent men can improve their social ability in any way?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:34 AM
5

Nah I think my girlfriend and I are similarly attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:34 AM
5

Nah man. I have a big nose that I was teased for a lot as a kid, and I have pretty bad teeth as well (crooked with a messed up bite, not dirty). I’m just in shape. I don’t have the best looking face, but I lift weights and get some cardio in by skateboarding. I’m not super jacked or anything though, usually only 155-160 pounds. A pretty regular build
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:30 AM
4

Do you have trouble socializing?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:25 AM
2

I dont disagree with any of that
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:24 AM
1

Yeah I feel you. Dating in Miami is probably fucked. But to be fair I think Miami is probably a shit place to live overall
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:22 AM
-2

I mean that’s not that crazy of a statistic. When I was 19-20 it was tough to get laid lol. Pretty sure I was dry that entire period
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:19 AM
1

Lmao my apologies
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:18 AM
6

I would say I’m pretty neurotypical but I was raised mostly by my mother. My dad was in a rough place for a lot of my childhood. I do feel you on the destruction of the 3rd place and our reliance on online communication. I spend a lot of time at the skatepark. I know I can’t skate forever but I hope to be active my whole life
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:18 AM
7

This is a huge, huge part of the issue. No friends, no hobbies. It’s really sad
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:07 AM
3

Yeah, I think we’re just defining “struggling to date” differently. Like you said, you can get dates, and have been in 3 LTRs. But yeah people are definitely in need of therapy in these times.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 12:05 AM
5

Just open my profile and look
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:55 PM
1

I can see how that environment could be problematic 100%, but I still think that if you’re fit/decently employed/a functional adult, there’s probably someone out there for you. Maybe I’m being unrealistic though.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:54 PM
2

Bro you literally said it. Your physical attractiveness was better, along with your social skills. That’s the difference
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:51 PM
16

Yeah, when I listed physical flaws in the title I was kind of referring to bad physical appearance. I know that it’s possible to lose the genetic lottery, and I feel for those people. I think men and women are both broken because we’ve replaced real interaction with the Internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:50 PM
4

Lmao my body count is higher than hers. Neither of us really slept around though
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:41 PM
2

Really only 2 LTRs
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:35 PM
5

Hmm. I did kind of consider that. Do you think it’s abnormal that my gf is college educated?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 11:34 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
