Get into Men's issues without making it seem like you want to completly ignore women's problems or blame women for certain problems that men have. If you write your article with the attitude "Women have problems but men do aswell!" you'll be able to convince a lot more people even if you shouldn't have to do this in order to raise awareness of a topic like men's issues.

I was just mentioning that she could've been an innocent feminist (the ones who are unaware what feminism nowadays is and still interpret it as being equal) and that you scared her off. Could also be that she is a radfem but it's far less likely since there aren't a lot of those around. Still possible tho!

Maybe you were too serious about it and went far too political for her? Also when you are saying that you are pro women rights and only talk about how men are getting treated badly it maybe made her think that you are a radical MRA who hates on women instead of someone truly pursuing equality?

I've been catcalled in a large shop in my city and literally no one of the dozens of people around me cared. I didn't bother me (I partly think that's because I don't fear them because I am stronger than an average woman) but it still made me realize how no one cared about me because I was male. They forcibly held my shopping cart and refused to let me go, asked me private stuff and one of them made a handjob suggestion with her hand. This wasn't the only time too

Women cause 100% of child births!

I meant that as in I think it is just as bad to do both. You shouldn't do either. (I am not assigning myself to any of these groups, exactly because I think both communities can be pretty hateful and are not always working for equality)

I don't see the difference between feminists who say that all men are trash and men's right activists saying all women are trash.

It is amazing how you decided to completly ignore my original comment, gave an example we didn't even argue about and then proceeded to make a point out of it.

But men are more violent than women. That's just a fact. Men are more likely to be physical, while women are more likely to manipulate or destroy reputation. Both are equally aggressive but show their aggressiveness in different ways. Men use more direct ways of aggressiveness while women use more indirect ways of showing aggressiveness. We should always put the truth first. Don't make the same mistakes feminists do.

We kinda went into philosophy and I didn't compare him to a murderer. I made an example of a murderer to explain personal responsibility. We kinda slipped into free will and determinism.

It's really annoying that both men's right activists and feminists have these radical few who just hate on each other.

Okay, yeah I completly get what you mean. Life isn't fair for most of us. Tho I think that just because you had it rough doesn't justify being shitty. It's not all his fault but then again is a murderer truly fully at fault? We have to give every person individual responsibility. There is a limit to empathy. Otherwise everyone is a victim and no one is ever at fault.

A small percentage of feminists are hateful towards male virgins.

If someone came up to me and said that I slept with some friends so I have to sleep with her aswell, I'd think she is a piece of shit. Saying that she slept with friends so as long as she doesn't say she wouldn't sleep with him, he can assume she would sleep with him is not okay. These are not missing social skills. Honestly I'd be scared of him.

Honestly I am kinda disgusted. Just because she has friends that she sleeps with doesn't mean that she sleeps with everyone. He makes it seem like he thinks that she is sleeping with everyone close (almost like a whore) and that he is entitled to sex since she already slept with her other friends. I don't think that his drunken message were very "nice" aswell but we can't tell. I am not saying that what she did was justified but I can atleast understand where she is coming from while this dude s…

This is why I don't see myself as a men's right activist or a feminist. Both have valid points but both are super stubborn and only look for arguments that supports their side of the conflict. Ofc men are more violent in general. If we took a random person out of society and it was a man, he would be more likely to be violent than women. This is because of hormonal differences and the difference of societal expression of anger in men and women. Can we please not do the same mistakes as feminism …

Psychologically speaking: Looks is something you are doing because of how someone else views you and not for yourself. The reasons are very broad. Maybe you want to look good for societal reasons, maybe you want to attract someone, maybe you just want to express yourself... to someone else. Many people I talked about this have said that they just feel good when they look good but this is connected to your self image which reflects from the input from others and the serotonin you get by increasin…

You are talking about violence in relationships. I am talking about violence in general.

Your personal experience doesn't make an universival point. At the age between 12-14 girls become less physically abusive towards men because humans are animals and through instincts we most of the times don't take fights we cannot win. When boys reach the age 12-14 they develope more muscles and the difference between boys and girls in strength becomes a lot greater. This is one of the reasons why women tend to use indirect abuse like spreading rumors, hurting ones reputation and sabotaging. Yo…
