It's not my toxicity. Am I a cog in it not quite fighting back? Sure. But idk, been hit through the toxicity pretty bad in terms of both highs and lows, I just recognize it for what it is after a life and appearance glow up after being not so great in both areas and always having had low standards even today

Certainly depends on the city

I've dated just fine and don't always think like this but sometimes it's time for strategic cold blunt reflection

I've never seen a positive social media post about hinge from women or heard many of my peers speak about their matches with much joy

The world is shallow unless you're lucky to live in a very insular group of open minded and kind people who only have you interact with the same. Even then, most of the time it's just obliviousness towards it or discounting one's own privilege

Women would be complaining less were it the case. It's either that or you're saying they're very neurotic and never satisfied

Men simp for all sorts of women, not just the conventionally approved kind

Yes but also women who are unaspirational also pick the dream man so Why backtrack and go for those women as a man who's reached the threshold of aspirationality Those women get real results and a much more gradual transition of attention and successes the more aspirational they become compared to the sharper turn men have. So if they're looking for a partner, becoming a 6 or something and aiming for a 5 or 6 is smarter

I don't think we disagree lol I'm saying what you're saying. Life isn't fair. As a man no one wants you when you're down. Everyone wants you when you're up After you've learned to compensate and work on your shortcomings, you'll go from 0 attention and success, to a lot very sharply and suddenly. So at that point why pick the people who are unattractive and didn't like you when you were unattractive when you could have the attractive?

"Attractive women and unattractive women take the same amount of effort to impress so might as well go for the attractive ones, and both will reject you if you don't pass a certain threshold of conventional traits even if they're on the same level . While as a woman, where you stand in terms conventional attractiveness and social level will directly impact who you have access to very gradually and 1:1"

The point is as an unattractive man there's no attention from unattractive women "in your league". So once you put the effort and start getting attention which will usually be universal attention from both attractive and unattractive women, there's no point in picking the unattractive

It doesn't apply to women because typically a man who's put in the effort to become an aspirational dream man after being rejected by both aspirational and unaspirational women, is going to pick the aspirational woman since they take the near same exact amount of effort to meet and attract

Do you acknowledge that some people are more conventionally attractive, social, and superficially considered "aspirational" by people as dream partners? Those are the people I'm referring to. A man who's attempting to date and meet people will typically either get rejected by people who fit that bill and those who don't, or have success with both groups as soon as they pass a very sharp barrier of being considered aspirational. So there's no point in lowering your standards since either you're u…

I apologize for not having the vocabulary to describe it better But I do mean what I said. The amount of effort, social energy, appearance upkeep, and lifestyle improvement needed to get a date as a man usually doesn't differ much whether she's attractive and social, or unattractive and asocial While as a woman there's a very real correlation with being attractive and the dame efforts resulting in a man who's done the same

The US is less important in the world than you think it is, and I'm saying this as a Canadian-American China, The EU, The UK, Saudi Arabia, and Russia who basically got all of Europe to panic about their energy independence and grain when they started their Ukraine invasion are powerful world players. The US is just the most militarily armed, invested the most in tech/media, and most diplomatic

Another aspect of this though I'm trying not be rude here is that a lot of academia is nerds with a chip on their shoulder. Yes a college or university has plenty of athletes and rich party kids. But also many many studious intelligent motivated people who while great for that, pride themselves in nothing but that and view everything else as inferior.

Even among children. Can't give too much disclosure as these are real personal stories but I can tell you there's plenty of cases where if there's a domestic violence situation involving an older woman and a teenage boy, even just 14 and with them as the primary victim, law enforcement will come in with the assumption they have to deal with the teenage boy

Sometimes it seems everything about women's attraction is how much you can get them think they're getting something of value through advertising and context Men are kind of just "see pretty girl, like her" regardless of if she's a McDonald's cashier or phd candidate olympic athlete old money heiress. Usually only selecting for the latter through social pressures from family/society or due to the convenience of it through sheer logic But for women? This car thing? Same man, but one gives him the …

While shortness is penalized, tallness does not increase marital success. I've been saying this forever. Lots of fakecels and kids with failed potential but you don't need to be 6'4 or rich or shredded or have a perfect face in most cases You just need to not have anything wrong with you and then let RNG happen, ideally in a social space like college actually interacting with people to maximize RNG. Just don't be short, an actual hopeless 3/10, or have an actual functioning IQ of like 60.

They are. Just being nice is bare minimum and required for the social contract of existing in society and socializing. It's nothingburger. You actually have to have something attractive about you to attract. 17 year old mediocre boys get told to just be nice to girls as their mating strategy for their whole lives and then get confused and crash out when it doesn't work, while a guy who didn't focus as hard on the basic advice of niceness and actually had attractive aspects unsurprisingly attract…
