1	This is very common in the human services field. Women are allowed to work with male clients, but men aren't allowed female clients. This double standard would never fly if it was the other way around. And since I forgot to add it in my first comment , women who prey on young boys and or men sexually are absolutely predators. I guess on the rest we will have to agree to disagree....I think that if women in a program were made to be more anxious and uncomfortable by the presence of male employees that their feelings are valid and largely rooted in the reality of being a woman. This double standard would never fly if it was the other way around. First, to address your last point, women victimizing young boys is not patriarchal in and of it self, society's reaction to it is. Those boys are told they should have wanted it and "are lucky". People react to them by asking if the woman who victimized them was hot, the boys don't get to be seen as victims. This is just one example of the role assigned to boys and men by patriarchy, they must always want sex and pursue it. A "real man" is a man who has sex with lots of women. I personally would not consider it problematic to give men preference when working with boys, that being said, violence is more often man on woman than the other way around and that's important to consider. Yes but a history of abuse makes them understandably fearful of men, imagine building up trust again only for the male employee to turn out to be a predator.
