Women being 51% of the electorate split at least 2 ways is not sufficient to push for any one candidate outright. Besides, the OP is conflating societal norms and establishments which reflect century long power among (white) men versus the relatively recent enfranchisement of women. The premise is faulty. This does not mean that more women are in a position to run for office nor does it mean women will vote for women strictly because they're women.
