This is a hard truth for manyWell to be fair, a lot of my colleagues are into tech and engineering precisely because it's a field that is more like a video game: you level up the better you are at it. As a result a lot of tech people are very work focused. So less hobbies outside of the day to day grind. And not just tech people live in tech cities. Plenty of aerospace engineers here in Seattle too. But yeah I have plenty of money (compared to the average guy) since tech pays well. It literally makes you bond with them. Currently, if an airtag is away from its user for more than I think 6 hours or so, it will start beeping every few minutes. So you should hear it. Secondly, for android users Apple did release a very limited app called "Tracker Detect" that tells you if any air tags are nearby.
