This has always interested me - except it's not a field I can make a transition to - is it? If I'm tech savvy, degree educated in an irrelevant field - how would I go about training to make that kind of career change? It feels like the technical knowledge needed for this kind of career is beyond my reach at 30 years old.

Show me the most beautiful woman in the world & I'll show you a guy who's tired of fucking her.

It's not mobile responsive so I can't view it. So no. No it's not. Is it yours?

Yes! This is why this place is so interesting; everyone's got their own completely individual experience. OP's is still valid, though, if a little misguided.

The latest Turd-Flinging Monkey vid touched on this; about men losing their perceived "purpose" and committing suicide after divorce & redundancy. I mean, it's called "redundancy". You're being made redundant.

I don't want to spend my time fighting a battle. The feminist propaganda doesn't infiltrate my own life too much. If a conversation comes up I act polite, note them as an idiot, and move on. My goal is to be content with myself & to achieve my goals; I can do that much better if I don't spend my time caring about what idiots say on the internet & hopefully advise others to do the same. There's no crusade.

Who cares what they think? Listen to them talk - it's inane chatter. It's narcissistic, egotistical bitching between people who make videos. They have to be 'too edgy 4 me' to retain their audience. The real problem you have is that you expected anything different. They've made entertaining videos & you seem to have put them on a pedestal, now you're 'disgusted' by the arrangement of words coming out of their mouths. Nobody has your back in the long term except you. Everyone's MGTOW is different…

Sounds like you're a bit angry though. Jokes aside - this wasn't written for you, then.

I understand but I'm not advocating abstinence. Your improvement is validation-seeking, right? You seek approval from females. Look into that first. "No More Mr. Nice Guy" (the book) is a good start. You ever had an addiction that's all-pervasive? You might see some parallels. Sabotaging your self-improvement IS your issue, so start there. Don't punish yourself for wanting female attention. I would say that once you don't give a fuck about them it's easier to find a no-strings-attached "red-pill…

Acknowledge the feeling, then move on. It's natural to you too - you're conditioned to feel that way - so let the feels come. As long as you exercise self-discipline by not action'ing your feels, they'll fade soon enough, then you can move on. Soon you'll get skilled in recognising the feels & they'll become less intense. The next time you see a pretty girl that's all she'll be. A pretty girl. Nothing more.

Because they're in a polyamorous marriage isn't another reason for me to get married. I don't care & it's none of my business. Whatever makes them happy.

I had a gut appreciation for "red pill truths" but didn't have a name for them. I had several long term relationships - every girl was 'in love' with me & I broke up with each one, chasing a different girl each time. These girls were very beautiful & I felt great when I was with them. I already knew AWALT, I was just playing the game I didn't have a name for. So when it happened to me by my 'unicorn' I felt loss & pain I'd never felt before & went on a self-destructive trip. I either needed to f…

I believe it's important to think of life as an ongoing transformative process, which like I said, is a painful process. We don't have a choice but to keep going because we know we'll be better off and more content when the dust settles. "If you're going through hell - keep going." It is easy to by cynical but it's important to note where that cynicism comes from, right? A belief system has been shattered. It's going to take a while to pick up the pieces & put things back together - onwards to p…

You need to work on yourself instead of becoming jealous of what other people have. That self-hate you're feeling? That's going to hurt you more & more in the long term if you don't address it today.

Thanks but I don't need to read the 'most hateful and dishonest article against men I've seen this week'. Why would you? You're seeking out someone else's echo-chamber & surprised with what you hear? Tell my something interesting about your MGTOW lifestyle instead; that'd be much more interesting to hear about.

Hiking! Walking a good 200+ mile coastal path alone. Camping through storms & popping blisters, to wake up alone on a mountain top with a view you'll never forget.

I work for someone else during the day & work for myself in the evening. I've changed my patterns recently & I suggest you do too, if you're anything like me; Stop playing computer games. Instead I read. I'm currently between The Red Knight (Fantasy) & a book on Digital Marketing. Stop watching TV/Netflix. Instead I get creative every night. I practice guitar (got my new band's first gig coming up), I learn to paint, I write. Stop watching porn. Instead, I lift weights. I'm not going to the gym …

Haha I love it when I see this on other posts. Feels weird on mine. Like when someone calls you a liar when you know you're telling the truth - the injustice of it all! But really, I've no need to make up stories on the internet.

Yeah, agreed. I wasn't necessarily trying to get her to "go her own way" but to think about why a man is the focus of her life at the moment. People around my age (30) are lost sheep. The ones I know, with a wife & kids, seem to be the MOST lost out of everyone.

I'm not sure what you mean by this - could you expand? Expound? One of them.

Thanks for taking the time to share your viewpoint - it's been good to think about it myself. I'm going to leave it there, though. It's not a big issue for me. I've never visited Menslib but I'll take a look, thanks.

I agree, feminism strives to get rid of oppressive gender norms such as "Men can't get raped". So highlighting the issue with a real life example of a male friend laughing at the suffering of other men - when he would never do the same if the genders were switched - highlights how far we've got to go to get rid of the "men can't get raped" gender norm. This is why it was relevant to the feminism subreddit, as I understood it. However, I was banned for the post. Which makes me realise more, than …
/r/MensRights16/03/16 07:40 PM

I stupidly though that my previous comment was the point you were making - I guess not. I brought feminism up because I posted the above pic to the feminism subreddit as it highlights inequality in the way sexual harassment is considered - and was banned for it, which I found interesting. I then thought the original pic + the fact I was banned from feminism for it, would be midlyinteresting for this subreddit. My logic is sound & it follows. What do you think about the pic itself, the subsequent…
/r/MensRights16/03/16 07:22 PM

Nothing. Because despite what many people have been told to believe, feminism does not mean "equality for all" at all.
/r/MensRights16/03/16 07:10 PM

The pic I posted shows a male colleague laughing at the suffering of men who were sexual harassed in the workplace. It's clear that had the gender roles in the article been switched, it wouldn't be appropriate to write "HA! Not the worst problem to have." on the photo. It highlights the inequality of the sexes when it comes to sexual harassment.
/r/MensRights16/03/16 06:56 PM

I thought feminism was about equality for all?
