Most men never felt like anyone owed them. it was a narrative invented by women. I've noticed in modern dating, you have to make it all about the woman up front. Then when she gets a little more invested, you can start to show more of you and show you care. Women also do this this thing where the man carries / directs the conversation, getting one to two word responses. Then runs out of stuff. Then the woman says, "You don't talk much do you?"
