many claim women have better emotional intelligence than men (abilities to recognize other people's emotions, deal with your own...). I base that saying on the studies that are made on the subject. But sure it could just be biased studies, so you might be right. My personal experience tho is that girls/women I know have waaay less emotional issues than the guys I know. But personal experience vs personal experience will lead us nowhere.

Idk, I find 2 months to be pretty short personally. Even as a kid, I often had to wait for months or years for things, I don't think it had any bad influence on me. You know, that's really good points and I think I've just let myself get angry for almost nothing. I still think it's a dick move to restrict toys for children even for a short period, but I guess maybe there weren't enough legos for everyone and boys were more focusing on it so she wanted a short period of "test" for the girls to try it, it makes sense actually. I had actually problematic phimosis, the skin was closing so much that the foreskin would balloon everytime I needed to pee and I would cry in pain every time I did have to. It might very well have been necessary, what makes me sick is that the doctor didn't even try other alternatives and just said "the only drawback is a tiny of loss of sensitivity"...
