It's tough when there is a huge obesity epidemic throughout poor communities and no one does anything about it because the sugar/fast food lobby has convinced everyone that eating healthy is expensive or difficult. I cook about 1 hour a week preparing all of my food and it is at most half the cost of prepared food at the super market and even less than half the cost of fast food. The only thing that eating healthy for a low cost takes is self discipline.

I have known multiple people who do this and none were ever caught. Makes you wonder how much actual abuse is going on undetected.

We must be pretty different because I appreciate it when people to call me out on my hypocrisy. This means I know that sometimes I am a hypocrite and I want people to point it out when I am. What were you saying then if not that you want people to ignore hypocrisy when they see it?

We must be pretty different because I appreciate it when people to call me out on my hypocrisy. I know it doesn't feel nice initially but I take value in my consistency of beliefs. I like to understand where I am failing and why. Understanding my own hypocrisy helps me change my beliefs or fix my behavior. I care much more about that consistency than I do about the 15 minutes of shame I feel after realizing I am being a hypocrite. Afterwards I always remember everyone makes mistakes and I am hap…

If I was really opposed to unrealistic depictions I certainly wouldn't intentionally use and unrealistic depiction of myself.

The utopia of left ideals you are imagining is not real and shooting left is as far left as it gets.

I'll give you good looking people can fuck who they want, but I haven't noticed good looking people being better at convincing a partner to commit.

Oh no not strong rhetoric!!!! The problem is that you think equality is possible for such a diverse and complex situation. We should strive for fairness, but equality for everyone is never going to be even close.

You keep talking about an endless cycle, but it's not endless. I have no idea what child support is but let's imagine it is 10% of take home income to make things easy. I'm also going to be using after tax numbers but it doesn't really matter. Say I need 20,000$ a year to live. So I'll make at least 22,222$ to pay for child support. 90% of 22,222$ leaves me with my 20,000$ that I need to live while still paying 10% to child support. Notice that I have to work harder to make more money to live be…

I don't know, I hate listening to people complain about their problems and it seems like most of my male friends feel the same. A lot of females I know will sit around and talk about that shit all day. I imagine there is some genetic component here, maybe related to breastfeeding and caring for children? Female animals tend to have much larger roles tending children as well. It's most likely not all genetics, but I don't think it's entirely nurture either. Anyways, if you love talking about peop…

If you need 50k a year to cover the expenses for your family you will work more to make more money, even if it entails your child support payments going up. Child support may take more money, but you will also make more money. Men paying child support have to work more to make more so they can live.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
