Literally the only profession this works in is (accepting or) hiring more black (potential) doctors, because then those doctors typically go work in neighborhoods that need them. That sub is one of the most toxic popular groups around on reddit. /r/hotpass This is actually common in ANY case where a ridiculous amount of charges are pled down to what actually happened, in this case 3 charges for 3 individuals. (edit: charging multiple times for the same repeated act with one individual is a scare tactic used by prosecutors to get the defendant to plea) 3 years will be a pussy pass, 45 will not.
