I was in a very big stoner fraternity in college. We did pretty well with girls though. The general consensus we had was that it was better to wait to smoke unless trying to pull somewhere that you didn't have to verbally communicate with girls. I always just a kept a doobie in my pocket and smoked it with a girl outside the club about halfway through the night and it worked well too., regardless of if she was the one I went home with. I wouldn't start the night with it though personally

Im not discounting what you guys are saying, but there are plenty of people who shouldn't do standup just like there are plenty of people who shouldn't be doctors. I think reading too much into this metaphore overlooks the message that hes trying to get at, that you could be trying to do only one thing when opening yourself up to other avenues could make you happier

I second this, although at the start of my time in pickup reading about being an "alpha male" may have helped me in some ways i think that in the long term it has severely damaged my ability to connect with others and made social settings much less enjoyable. I still struggle with unlearning a lot of the stupid alpha male bullshit I've read

I have read many books on pickup and this book easily reigns king over the rest. I too move for this book to be put in the essential reading. I understand that having r/seduction sponsor a book could be a slippery slope but I hope that if nothing else it becomes easier for newcomers to find this book.

I have the exact same thing, glad im not the only one. I noticed I stopped wanting to "smash the shit out of her" when I hit puberty and started lifting. Maybe it was the big boost in looks which lead to me having more girls into me but somewhere along the lines I stopped thinking that way.

I think your under the impression that every approach needs to be flawless. Either that or your far too insecure to accept someone elses sucess.
