I think that in this sub a lot of people are looking at this from the perspective of being newly dating, but it kind of sounds like you guys have been together a while. So there may be a bit of a disconnect.

I don't understand why. You HAVE a second car and it's more economical to not buy gas and pay for maintenance on one when you're headed there same way.

There is a difference between a guy expecting you to be his taxi service and a couple making a conscious decision that one car is more practical. Sounds like you two made the best choice for the both of you.

I've always been a big fan of the "block and move on" strategy. Whether it's been the end of a serious relationship or just noping out of the beginning stages, I tend to remember the good times over the bad and want to reach out when when feeling lonely/vulnerable and blocking then deleting the number saves me a lot of trouble.
