I haven't seen much of Chris Williamson's videos on dating or red pill, but I think Macken Murphy is a great suggestion. Macken Murphy analyzes the red pill from a scientific perspective, and clearly shows some of the inaccuracies of red pill beliefs. Doing this is much more persuasive than critiquing the rp on an emotion level. I think most of his content is on Tiktok though, not Youtube.

Isn't this subreddit for people who are seeking support with getting out of the red pill mentality? You were condescending me throughout your whole post and calling me names. I believe I've been making progress since I started this thread. I haven't had those negative and hateful thoughts come up much towards women. I choose to accept all women as they are. If they choose to be promiscuous, that's fine. I won't put negative labels on them such as hoe, gross, and I won't be hateful towards them. …

Your response is actually one of my favorites, and I've been using it to reshape my thinking since I read it, so thank you for that. I like the point you made about sex being natural, and not dirty or immoral. Most of what you said in your third paragraph was insightful too. It helped me see things from a woman's perspective. I decided that I will no longer label women as hoes, gross, or used up. I realized that those words have created a lot of unnecessary stress for me, and it's just not worth…

I've made some progress from the time I started this thread. I feel confident now that I can let go of the hateful thoughts I had been experiencing. I choose acceptance, and non-judgment regarding women. However, I still hold my standard for not wanting someone promiscuous when it comes to the person I'll have a loving, and committed relationship with. Saying and assuming that a man is insecure for holding this standard is disrespectful. It's a form of shaming and you're claiming that something …

With the help of some of the answers on this thread, I feel confident that I will move past these hateful thoughts. I can keep my standard for not wanting a promiscuous partner for a long term-relationship without hating the women that are promiscuous. Before learning about the red pill, I didn't really know how how easy women's access to sex was and how many options they had. I also didn't think the majority of women engaged in ONS, or casual sex. I thought the mostly had sex in the context of …

So, you're basically saying a woman with a lower body count doesn't exist?

That is a useful thought experiment. With the help of some of the answers I've gotten on this thread, I feel confident that I will move past some of the hateful thoughts I have. I'm not going to use the word disgusting to describe promiscuous women anymore because I realize it just creates unnecessary stress for me. Regarding the scenario you mentioned, I wouldn't consider either the hooker or the woman that was sex trafficked as disgusting. However, from a romantic perspective, I would say the …

Can you give me some examples of how grown men act like children?

I didn't edit that out of my post. You can still find it. I don't think I deserve to be called names. I was mostly respectful and honest with what my thoughts are. These notions come up in my head on their own, I don't support or want them. You made an important observation though. I'll stop referring to promiscuous women as "something." I admit that's wrong.

You're missing the main point. It's a metaphor and you're taking it too literally. The only thing that may be possibly negative in that statement is them saying that women don't know what they want, and to not listen to them. They're not saying women are actually fish. If you want to make a good rebuttal, you're arguing against the wrong thing.

There's some women at certain stages of their life that just want sex, but women who are seeking long-term relationships also want to feel fulfilled emotionally, intellectually, and for some, spiritually. Good sex is important, but there's more to what women want than that. You make them sound like animals. Both men and women are human beings and our interests in life consist of more than just food and sex. You don't want companionship from a woman?

Good character and decency is understandable. The red pill men would say those married men were guys the women settled for after their hoe phase was over, and a lot of their options dry up. Just because a man is married doesn't mean they have highly attractive traits. I'm undecided if marriage is really a mark of success for a man.

That is a funny experiment. The rapper Drake literally has a huge collection of bras that women throw at him at his concerts: https://people.com/drake-bra-collection-its-all-a-blur-tour-7966346

Interesting. What do you think of the statements "Don't ask a fish how to fish, ask a fisherman," and "Don't listen to what a woman says she wants, watch what she does." The concept is that what women are truly attracted to and especially sexually aroused by is politically incorrect, so they tell half truths that are more socially acceptable. I believe this is true to an extent, but I think I took it to far which made me ignore a lot of things women say and not consider their opinions.

I really like this response because it's in-depth and I look for similar traits. It can be puzzling when some women say they like a man who is kind though because I've seen a lot of women go for bad boy types. I use to wonder if I had to change my kind ways to fit that archetype.

I think I've gotten enough responses to help me effectively get my mind where it needs to be regarding women's body count. I singled out your "most people are probably gay" line because it is an absurd statement. Then, in your second post you said that everyone is bisexual, and straight people are just unenlightened. Lmao. I have never been attracted to a man's butthole in my life. Getting women is not difficult for me. It's getting the women I really like that can be a challenge which is okay b…

You really drove way off course when you said "most humans are probably gay and only largely have heterosexual sex to produce children." You're definitely projecting. Lol. You did make a couple interesting points that I will reflect on though. Thanks 👍

I sincerely and deeply apologize for how I communicated in my last message. I was overwhelmed with all the answers I received and I didn't bring enough mindfulness to my replies. I want to be clear that I don't define women who have had a lot of past sexual partners as "gross." It is just a thought that comes up in my mind that I don't support, want, and am working to let go of. I truly do want to change. I think one of the reasons why I prefer my next girlfriend to have had not too many past pa…

I guess it's just an attraction to sexual purity. It's just attractive knowing that few to no men have been with her. Value is tied to scarcity. If gold was everywhere, it wouldn't be as valuable. I'm not talking about personal value though, only value in a dating context.

I looked into the background of that survey. It wasn't anonymous. It was done in face to face interviews. It said the median count of sexual history for women was 4-5. "Most women in the world will never be your partner, so why does the body count of your potential partner reflect on how you view women?" This is a great point. I'm getting a lot of valuable perspectives on this thread and I will take all of them to my notepad soon so that I can question my thoughts again. Honestly, I'm aware that…

I would admit that it is wrong to determine someone's personal value based on how many sexual partners they've had. That is something I need to work on. I do think it's okay to use it as a way to determine their mate value though when seeking a long-term partner. It is a legitimate preference.

I like the points you made here. I'm going to start listening to different perspectives especially from people who are in happy relationships. Jordan Peterson has been married for over 30 years and speaks very highly of marriage. I want to fill my mind up with more ideas like those. What kind of videos do you think I should watch that are directed at women?

Yes, I've always thought a promiscuous woman was unattractive as a long-term partner way before I learned about red pill. However, I never had these hateful thoughts until I starting consuming the red pill content. The red pill message makes it seem that most women are ultra promiscuous, and that's what brought up the hateful thoughts.

I don't think it's disgusting. What I want to achieve is to let go of my hateful thoughts, and be more accepting of women. I don't think I would let go of my preference for dating a woman with a smaller sexual history though. These are two separate things.

I've only really argued against the people using the survey as proof of what people's sexual history is. I have said thank you, and complimented other people for good points they've made.

I am interested in changing my thinking about women, but I don't want to have my head in the sand either. I want to see the world for what it is, so when someone tells me the average number is 4-5 because of a survey, I'm gonna be skeptical because I know that this is a topic people are commonly dishonest about. "maybe try seeing us as people and not just thinking about us in terms of how our sexual history makes you feel. It makes you seem like all you see women as is a potential partner for yo…

I care about a woman's past sexual partners because if she has a high number it's just unattractive. I think it's similar to asking a guy why he likes women's feet. Lol. You can't really explain it. We just find certain things attractive and other things unattractive.

The Durex and Nectar Sleep surveys can be comparable to the CDC survey because it doesn't really matter what organization does the survey, what matters is the methodology. We would have to look at the details of how the surveys were done. I was just giving an example of how surveys can give different results. The other thing I would say is that the CDC surveyed people aged 25-49 and this gives us an inaccurate picture of the current landscape because Tinder and Instagram only became popular in a…

I really wouldn't care if a woman judged me based on my sexual history. We all have our preferences. We're already judged on various factors in the dating arena such as income, confidence, looks, etc., so it would just be one more thing.

Lol. Why is that type of person notoriously not interested in talking to me? I understand what you're saying and it makes sense. I still think that even the women who are not exceptionally outgoing can rack up some high numbers though because all women have to do is show up to get sex. It doesn't matter if the woman is introverted because it is usually the man that is expected to initiate, plan the date, be charming, and sexually escalate.

I don't think the claim can be "easily" refuted by research. We know that both men and women can lie about this and they frequently do. I don't really think much about how promiscuous women would be more likely to cheat on me or compare me to their past partners. Some of the thoughts that come up in my mind when I think about them are: it's dumb to commit to and be romantic with that type of woman, they're gross, unattractive, and I don't want something that everyone else has already had. Why do…

I'm familiar with neuroplasticity and how thinking in certain ways can rewire your brain. It is something I have to work at. I already stopped listening to Rollo, F&F, and Richard Cooper because of their negative attitudes towards women. It's just the message about women's promiscuity that has stayed with me and deeply disturbed me. I need to figure out different way to think about it. I may take your advice and check out more red pill debunked content though 👍

Thank you for your response. I don't think surveys are a reliable way to get accurate information especially on a topic like this since men and women may feel judged by the answers they give, and can therefore lie. There's also surveys that give different results. A 2006–2010 National Survey of Family Growth shows that 18.6% of women aged 24-29 have had 10-39 past sexual partners: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5795598/ A survey done by Durex showed that women in New Zealand report…
