Remember: you cannot test very reliably for genital warts or herpes. Blood tests can help but in general those are the ones that need to appear before you realize what's going on. Use condoms, always!

A celebrity as big as Kanye stalking and terrorizing his ex sets a horrible example for the average creep who sees this mega celebrity normalizing this behaviour with zero consequences. Stalking often does escalate to violence. His actions should ban him from public life and result in legal ramifications.

When people show us who they are, believe them. This is an adult man who co opted feminist ideas (probably at an extremely superficial level) to lure in and manipulate women. In my experience it is these men who parade such an image that turn out to be some of the most inventive and cruel abusers.

Part of the scam of patriarchy is convincing women that our entire worth is tied up in attaining men's approval. One reason why men hate this sub is that women are openly interrogating and critiquing these norms. Women are by-and-large significantly more attractive than the average man. Men are scared shitless that we will continue to reject their self-serving narratives. We are lovely and should focus on looking how WE want ourselves to look.

Very reductive (hard to get a true sense of people from pics & short prompts) A lot of deception & lies (increasingly high number of romantic scams; out-of-date/fake pictures; ppl cheating) It's a meat market-- very objectifying & too many ppl in-general

I love this hilarious stereotype that older women are desperate and easy to impress bc the truth is we get increasingly savvy and insightful with age. Also we get more established as we age. I love shooting down the incorrect assumption that I am dying to be partnered bc Im over 30. I can see more clearly than ever that my life is full and whole whether or not I have a man in it.
