"Be yourself" is classic blue pill advice and absolutely worthless. Don't be yourself. Work to become better than your current self. There's nothing intrinsically valuable about how you are now, especially if you are not getting the results out of life and women that you want. Parts of your current self need to die. Change is fundamental to growth.

For when you shoulder-ram her. Just kidding, it's part of the kino escalation ladder. You just touched her shoulder, next step is to touch her hip.

Why would we want to convert people? This is not evangelism. We have nothing to gain from more people adding red pill to their identity outside of pure altruism. Unless you're so unsure about your conviction that the subscriber count helps you validate your beliefs through groupthink. Just present people with the facts and the supporting evidence. If they emotionally deny it, that's their choice. Perhaps this type of language bothers me more than normal due to my Christian upbringing.

I hadn't heard of this. Interesting, and very relevant. Thanks for sharing. I don't mean to imply that we should compromise on incorrect ideas, rather that we should identify them instead of vilify them.

Perhaps true for something simple and complete such as particle physics, but not so for complex areas of scientific research such as neuroscience and indeed, sociology.

This is my own exact personal experience. I've been fired from two high-quality, high-paying jobs, despite producing better work than my peers, due to my social difficulties. I avoided any pure social gatherings such as parties, events, meals, and beers, preferring to stay at the office and focus on doing more work. They don't teach you about how important social networking is in school. My peers all rose to lead positions despite being technically weaker than me, while I was shown the door. Liv…

Thank you for sharing this. It took a few paragraphs to get what you were REALLY talking about, but the analogy speaks volumes of truth. One part I think is not quite right is the crack dealers getting upset when they find out the people making heroin had to put a lot of effort into it. This doesn't make any sense in terms of the story and is totally irrational. But in terms of relationships, there seems to be a legitimate aversion to "learned" alphaness that is biologically motivated, since a "…

I found TRP through a reddit comment that was bashing it. I wanted to investigate for myself if this sub was as terrible as they said. Amazingly, I found a bastion of rationality, common sense, self-improvement, camaraderie, support, practical advice, and mind-blowingly accurate observations about reality. I could find practically no evidence for why this person had talked down about the sub apart from a few posts from angry extremists. Needless to say I have never looked back and feel this sub …

I don't understand why the whole "imagine what you will regret on your deathbed" motivator is mentioned so often. It doesn't do anything for me. Why should I care what the frail old me on my deathbed thinks about anything? What's so terrible about "regret" when you're about to die anyway? Surely nothing you could have done would change the outcome of being about to die due to an illness you cannot control. For me, it's much more effective to think about myself in 5 or 10 years. What life do I wa…

Performance problems are normal when you're putting a lot of pressure and expectation on yourself. Don't be so hard on yourself. Try again. As long as she gets paid, she doesn't care. It's supposed to be fun, relaxing, and exciting, so try to achieve and hold those states. How can you feel turned on when you're anxious? Your brain hasn't associated interactions with women with sexual pleasure yet. It might be easier for you to date an overweight or unattractive girl for your first time since it …

Thanks for your comments guys, actually very encouraging! I will make a new post describing my actual situation and asking for the support I need without worrying too much about it getting deleted. I'll need a bit of time and focus to write it up, maybe in a day or two.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
