How was he supposed to know all that in the short interaction he had though... I think you are projecting your own requirements for a partner onto him and getting mad that he didn't observe that, kinda odd..

A lot of intelligent men like to talk about very logical rational things, and a lot of times that isn't conducive to having a fun interaction that shows you in an attractive light (at least not for initial encounters). I struggle a lot with this myself tbh, I am super analytical. What do you usually talk about with these women? Here's a non red pill guys take on it, I'd watch this: https://youtu.be/OyFnAhGMItM

Average income is not enough for a lot of women these days....there are articles about women not finding enough marriage able men due to them outearning a lot of men. This post is too idealistic imo

Guy here. I think the problem is you're basing your own self worth/esteem on the points of view expressed in that content. To be honest with you, I don't agree with them on everything fresh&fit/the roommates say, but they aren't wrong about everything either. They do use crass language a lot, but they are mainly talking about what high earning men want in a woman. However, just because they say women should dress feminine etc, it doesn't mean you should do that. Above all else you need to be aut…

Any advice on being fun? One of my core insecurities is being too serious lol, I don't really like to go to clubs or party either which i worry makes me appear "less fun"

25 being the wall is total bullshit. I've seen so many attractive women past that age. Tbh having a regular workout routine and proper diet will take you a long way. Also, skincare has come a looong way, and you can use things like retinoids to look younger. I really wouldn't worry about it.
/r/ExRedPill22/03/21 06:16 PM

Eh I'm not RP but I've heard women openly say that it matters, and there's nothing wrong with it. It may matter more to some women than others. There are things you can do to improve your looks anyway.

No it's fine lol I appreciate it. I usually just go to random meetup groups at some bar or some speakers events or indie concerts and meet women there, I usually fuk it up in some way cause I'm too scared to escalate it or something though.

Yeah thats what I mean, and I'm thinking this now due to the thread today about what makes a job attractive to women and what not. I suppose that's true, based on the way PPD describes it it seems that it's seen as unattractive due to its association with nerdiness and foreign immigrants (both of which I have/am lol) Ya probably sorority girls and me would not have much in common lol. I think i just need to stop being so nervous when I try to flirt 😩
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 11:48 PM
1

Tbh I struggle to get dates irl although I am trying, but honestly this place isn't full of tips, its more full of one gender bashing the other because they don't like something about how that gender inherently operates, or one gender saying X traits are always unattractive in the other and so on lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 11:09 PM
1

Has reading PPD make you guys feel more confident or less confident? Honestly PPD has sort of convinced me that the attractive qualities I have are completely negated by things that are mentioned on here as unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 08:41 PM
1

My god this is so stupid. Men and women just communicate a bit differently. This whole thread is either men bashing women's method of communication or women bashing men for not getting it and blah blah blah. There is no need to be so adversarial towards the opposite sex..
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/19 08:29 PM
1

Yeah.. these people probably won't ever have a fulfilling relationship because they just care about their own selfish desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 10:12 PM

I think it's stupid. Seems like they only care about what they can get from men instead of working on bettering themselves. I wouldn't want to date anyone with this mentality.

Not really... I live in the SF bay area and work at one of those companies.. many FAANG companies and unicorn companies have highly paid individual contributors and have dual career tracks for people who want to go up a management ladder or an engineering ladder and the "plateau" can be quite high, especially considering equity as part of compensation.

Very extroverted personality, likes to go out at least on Friday/Saturday if not more than that to nightclubs or house parties or what not. Also enjoys drinking to get wasted and likes doing other drugs. Likes to be impulsive and cares more about having fun in the moment instead of thinking about the long term. Normal bar goer still goes to bars and drinks but is more reasonable about drinking and doesn't go crazy. Probably also frequents lower energy venues.

Go to a bar or nightclub, are 80% of men you see standing against the wall talking to each other? This is mostly correct actually... where I live, most men are not coupled up based on what I observe.

I'm not very smooth/witty, I don't like to party/drink, and and I'm more health conscious. Based on what I read here on PPD, this means I'm basically screwed in the dating market. I know I have other qualities, but I sometimes feel like they are negated based on those aforementioned things. I can also be somewhat argumentative and I get annoyed very easily. The latter I try to just keep to myself though, and the former I am working on.

What if a woman is raised in some culture where its expected for men to pay? It may be hard to see things a different way with such ingrained mentality. For example in Russia I heard that men pay for literally everything and the man has to share his bank account but the woman gets her own or some shit. Idk why they put up with it but 🤷‍♂️

Yes. Exhibiting some behaviours that PUAs commonly talk about, like having a "bitch-shield" or doing weird "shit tests" (not talking about teasing here) would be a turn off to me. According to mark manson, if you sleep with a bitch, it's not a good thing. You need to have strong boundaries and not involve yourself with people like that.

I'm talking about time on a date, not time in general. Also even men do not have infinite time if they want children. As they get older, they may not have as many potential suitors. Plus, you dont even need a man to have children nowadays, if you want that, it's a choice you are making. Also there are fertility treatments nowadays. To be brutally honest with you, guys probably aren't paying for you because they can sense how entitled you are on a date (very evident from your post). If a guy want…

I went to 2 large party schools and I was friends with people involved in that scene, so I can say this from experience: the people that tend to participate in the party and drug scene do not tend to place too much importance on academics or career, they care more about having fun in the moment. People involved in academically demanding majors have way less time for this
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/19 05:21 PM

That would be ok given she's just as attracted to her guy as the lesser guys. In the scenario in your OP it seems it's not the case though

That is true actually, it's not universal. For example, in many asian countries, women tend to like effimate looking men like the ones you see in KPop bands, where as in western countries a taller guy with a strong jawline and a broad shouldered physique is attractive. The Infographics show on youtube did a cool video on it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RPJEBQ8UFs

Broad frame really means a V taper physique, so big shoulder to hip ratio. It's influenced by bone structure but you can also become wider by working out upper body, pull ups and shoulder press will help a lot.

.....you are completely out of touch with reality. Lots of women out there in western countries who can provide for themselves, and middle class men definitely don't get women falling at their feet. It's true men don't really care about a womans income as much, but that's personally because I can take care of myself just fine. Because of your flair, whenever I see you post I pictured you as one of those slavic girls I usually see on my instagram, for example: https://www.instagram.com/p/Butpnn1Aqnq/

I have heard that longer ones help to reach the A-spot and give A spot orgasms, isn't that harder with average length?

man with a strong social media gig going is a total turn off to me anyway. Why is this do you think? Cause as men we are regularly led to believe that social "status" is a turn on, and nowadays that seems to be extending to showcasing that "social status" on instagram as well.

I think a more accurate portrayal of what RP is saying is that women do like sex, but they only want it with "chads", and with betas they will only have sex to get resources. I don't necessarily agree with this since it's not so black and white and these generalizations don't apply to enough people to make them valid, but yeah.

In Israel, it's the only body type women are even friendly to. This seems oddly specific.. you are saying women in israel only like skinny guys? Is this from personal exp?

I think being super outgoing only matters in certain environments like bars or clubs. Of course regardless of environment you usually have to approach, but that's a given regardless of ethnicity. I think really the downside is that as Indians we may not pass a woman's initial filters since we are perceived as coming from a regressive patriarchal culture, but showing that you are more westernized can help offset this.

Or if a woman makes fun of me/treats me in a way I don't like --- I'll tell her right then and there, calmly, that I don't appreciate being talked to in that way or jokes like that. I've seen a lot of guys (mostly guys that listen to PUA shit) emphasize this sort of behaviour as a "shit test" that must be passed, but its refreshing to see that some guys won't put up with it. Good on you man.

I was emphasizing that it is sarcastic lol. Imo, if a girl gives you a "compliance test", you should obviously not do what she says, but also stop seeing her.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/19 09:12 PM

I think what people mean when they say that, is that trying to be someone you're not (e.g. trying to act like you have a different personality type) is not going to work. A better statement IMO is to be the best version of yourself, and that applies to men and women.

As a childfree man myself, I understand wanting someone that doesn't have kids, but what's wrong with divorced men? A man that has divorced, might have gotten a divorce because his former spouse wanted children and he did not.

Why do you want a beta bux? You probably wont be attracted to him at all sexually and its not fair to you or him.

I think women can be just as visual as men and I don't think you should be shamed. It's probably best that you do date someone you are physically attracted to. I think a lot of men get angry about this because some of the physical attributes that determine if a man is physically attractive to women (like facial bone structure/jawline, height, skin color) are more or less unchangeable.

If he can’t be bothered to put in the effort to woo women organically for mutually pleasurable casual sex, then he should just purchase all sex in the future and take himself out of the dating market permanently. What's wrong with a man that has seen escorts in the past working on himself, improving his social skills, getting fit, and then finding a willing partner later?

A 30 something can't hold a candle to a man in the prime of his 20s. But whoops no one ever mentions that.. Many women have voiced the opinion that older men are more attractive cause of life experience/having their stuff together, are you sure about this part? It might be just a minority opinion.

I see. This is a bit of a grey area then.... it depends. Imo, if it's something you want to do regardless of being aroused or not its fine, but if its something where you are like "blahh, lets get this over with" then it's not too flattering from a mans POV (imo)

I'm curious, does your man know that you do this stuff with him even though you don't want to? Is he under the false impression that you want to? Personally I would feel really bad if my SO felt she had to do this just out of a sense of obligation or maintenance, it's not very flattering. I'd rather she fulfill my needs because she is actually attracted to me or she enjoys it. If I knew it was done because of "maintenance" i'd probably honestly not be in the mood anymore.

Lets say a married couple has a joint account and each has a personal account. Do you think they should be able to keep all of whatever is in their personal account if they split up? I think so. Even if you marry someone, I think you should still be able to have at least some of your own money, to have some financial independence.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/18 06:33 PM

To be fair, other men are intimidated by things like education level, etc. Also, another main reason is men think they aren't attractive because they believe the standards for men to be attractive are so high.

People may not like nerds for many reasons, such as their interests don't seem masculine or relateable, because of low popularity or social standing, they may not enjoy the same social activites like drinking and partying (!= not being social), which equates to people seeing them as no fun, etc.. Also, I lived in LA for over a year before moving here, lol. I don't think my calibration is off, but most of the nerds I've known (which has been a lot) have been pretty well adjusted socially, which i…

I work in software engineering, and personally have known tons of software engineers and people in other STEM disciplines, and I have known many that are not awkward. I live in the San Francisco bay area, which is the tech hub of the USA. Yes, there are awkward people, perhaps more than other professions, but based on my experiences I feel the stereotype is overblown by people who don't like IT guys, lol. I am very surprised by this, I am an engineer and mostly I have heard that women don't find it attractive because they associate a whole host of negative weird qualities with us like awkwardness and pretentiousness (I can think of negative qualities for many other professions but whatever..), I have seen this sentiment on reddit quite a bit.
