I don't know why you're being downvoted. I think this is pretty accurate. People who float along doing nothing would likely be just as unfulfilled if they had been designated another role they weren't *actually* interested in.

It's frustrating that people equate feminism with misandry, and often proudly. I think every time we realize that a group of people deserve xyz-rights they weren't getting, that the pendulum tends to swing ridiculously far in the other direction, before it centers again. The marginalized group went without power for so long, that there's a stretch of time where it goes on a powertrip. We seem to do it every time with every thing.

I'm with you as far as focusing on what you can control, rather than what you can't. *But* I also think it's easier to be chill and not give a fuck if you're not working and someone else is paying your way through life, while you spend your time doing self-satisfying things without any kind of adversity.
