| 1 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right?I am just saying that things aren't always black and white extremes, there are variations in between. People develop relationships for a variety of reasons but if someone gets around to propagate the species or whatever and then complains about being broke and poor I don't have too much sympathy for them. On the other hand I know people legitimately screwed by child support so how do you fix it. | /r/MensRights | 22/07/13 02:06 AM |
| 0 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right? If your only criteria for attraction is physical, then you would fuck a braindead girl in a coma. Long live the species! | /r/MensRights | 22/07/13 01:31 AM |
| -3 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right? If your only criteria for attraction is physical, then that might be objectification. Maybe that is why some people end up with spouses that are physically attractive but have horrible personalities. | /r/MensRights | 21/07/13 11:04 PM |
| -1 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right?I agree, also men and women tend to objectify in different ways, women even sexually objectify themselves. So it is common, and not necessarily a dichotomy of good vs bad, it just is and there are various degrees and types. But I also feel it also boils down to a lot of MR movement, treating men like people rather than fighting or money making machines designed to be used for others convenience. | /r/MensRights | 21/07/13 09:28 PM |
| -2 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right?Under that definition, isn't commenting on any solitary aspect of a person objectification? If "damn, that chick has huge tits" is objectification, why aren't "boy, that guy is tall" or "man, she volunteers 30 hours at the homeless shelter" objectification as well? Most of those statements depend on context, but it is possible to objectify anyone for anything, including the kid that mows your lawn. If you want to use somebody just for their big tits, tallness, willingness to help, or cheap labor… | /r/MensRights | 21/07/13 07:12 PM |
| -8 | Now imagine this is 2 guys getting up early to go watch netball training. They'd be creeps, Right?Objectification is not extremely rare, it is a philosophy that an unfortunate number of people partake in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_objectification When I hear my friends gawk after women and make some statement on their "fuckability" without in the slightest knowing them that is objectification. Somewhat surprised someone in MR saying objectification is rare and doesn't exist... | /r/MensRights | 21/07/13 05:34 PM |
| 0 | Body Language Question: Stiffness in Standing Straight?Assuming you know what frame control is, maybe try framing your thoughts and emotions in a similar way. If you don't know: http://www.lovesystems.com/audio/vol-5-frame-control-subcommunications-savoy-sinn disclaimer: I don't consider myself a PUA and wouldn't recommend buying anything from that site, was just the first thing I found on google | /r/seduction | 20/07/13 04:50 PM |
