Move on. As mentioned, there are plenty of singles out there. But since she ghosted you, block her. If she wants to reach back out to you, make her put the effort into approaching you. Ghosting is a rude, immature behavior. You will find mature women that are able to communicate positive and negative messages. Do you need more time? Who knows. Be happy with yourself, go out and enjoy yourself. If you date and it feels good, keep dating. If you don't feel right, or keep thinking of your ex or the…

Don't just read it, leave it on the coffee table while you are in the process of reading it!

Are you $1 million curious? Or even $500k curious? How about $250k curious? She can make this hell for you, just read some posts. Any apology would be fake anyway. It won't make you feel better. She would only come back to butter you up to take the money. Please do not say a word, do not comingle the money in any way, do not tell anyone for a few years. If you have to, fly to Columbia and rent 5 of the hottest girls for a month (yes at the same time). You will see so many things that you were mi…

Try to be amicable first. $4500 probably won't be enough for a single lawyers retainer, let alone for both of you. If you really have no assets, it would be stupid to go right to lawyers. Next step would be mediation, but again, list your assets and start splitting. Neither of you have any reason to make this ugly. My neighbors daughter is in a similar situation, and they are getting ugly over kitchen utensils. Like be an adult and just let it go. I will give you $35 to go to Walmart and get bra…

There is no formula or timetable. You have to use your judgement as an adult to see if both parties are being realistic and honest. How they separated, why they separated, are they in therapy? So many factors. I would actually say that she is the one to keep your eye on. Death is much more abrupt and final, with no closure. Feeling often never go away. I have read posts on here that widowed people don't date for a decade.

Yeah, OP, you may want to look into this discretely. I read somewhere that this could be considered insurance fraud. And they will ask for the divorce decree when you remove her from your benefits and as a beneficiary. I hope for your sake I am wrong. But why are you still paying for her when she has a full time job with benefits?

Don't say anything until the divorce is final and everything is sorted. After that, if you still feel the need, simply send a message that says that she lied about why she left, but she needs to be the one to tell them the truth. The truth will eventually come out. Adults aren't stupid. And if they are, then there is nothing you could have done. Take care of yourself. You know you are better than her. Her issues are not a one time thing.

He is "a month away" from a final divorce and throwing red flags all over the place just in this post. He needs to focus on himself, finalizing his divorce, his next chapter of life and independence, then dating, in that order. I would also hope that he thinks of the women he is dating and is open and honest about his situation and intentions. If they are ok with the situation, that is fine, but they need to know the situation. Most women will find this story as very fishy. And one month is so s…

If you are lonely, figure yourself out first. Go to therapy, start with meetups, or a local bar that has events or music. Become who you want to be before you go find someone to add to it. If you try dating apps now, and are honest in your profile, you will be eliminated by the "best" options and never have a chance in the future when you are actually ready. You will also be posted on the awdtsg site and blasted there as well for all to see. Based on what I read on here, most med are actually mo…
