I think most men would prefer being “pumped and dumped” (ie sex without commitment), yes. It’s pleasure without the responsibility of commitment.

Men’s desires are never treated this way. To the extent our desires make women feel bad about themselves, there’s always pushback, never “oh well, it’s just involuntary shrug”. There’s basically an ongoing campaign social campaign in the West to stop people from scorning and shitting on fat and ugly women, while it’s open season for ridiculing and attacking men.

Sex. Lots of people put up with a lack of trust (among other faults) in a partner in return for sex. Women never get criticized for prioritizing their sexual pleasure, only men do (especially when men prioritize this over women’s desires).

This may be an ethnic divide. Are you White? I’m not OP, but I’m Mexican-American and my mother has made it clear she’d raise my child if I had one. It’s not an uncommon set-up in our culture. It gives the parent some personal freedom while the child is raised in a stable home.

You look tall. Being tall and Black, I feel like you could easily attract women in NYC, where I’m from.

Anything that runs contrary to feminist doctrine, which much of TRP does.

That sounds God awful compared to a more casual sex oriented lifestyle. I would never want to give up that much of myself for someone else.

How is a relationship best for both people? What if the hypothetical person in this scenario would be miserable in a relationship? Would you feel the same way about a woman that expressed no interest in relationships and wanted to play the field?

Would you leave that relationship? What would be the point in staying?

I live in NYC, which is a pretty blue/liberal/non traditional and I think the more feminist / non-traditional the woman, the more brutal they’d be toward a short man. There’s really no sympathy for men who have insecurities in these feminist dating circles, and it’ll be presumed that you have insecurities simply based on your height. In my experience, feminist women often revel in being cutting toward men who they perceive to be socially below them, so you’ll have to develop a really thick skin …

Wilt Chamberlain slept with thousands of women. You’d be surprised how much even married NBA players get around. They’re highly selected for due to the height.

I’ve spent most of my working life in white collar professional environments (I used to be a BigLaw lawyer who transitioned into non-legal in-house banking work; always worked in either Manhattan or remotely from the beach cities of LA). That statement about short professional men having gorgeous wives or GFs is cope / delusional. That’s just world fallacy. I know lots of short men who tick all the boxes for a good partner except bright and avoid the pitfalls that this sub warns men against (ie …
