The dishwasher happens to be one of the few female inventions. Of the inventions you've probably heard about. Women invented the dishwasher, the rolling pin, disposable diaper, windshield wiper, liquid paper (tippex) and kevlar. Damn near everything else was invented by men.

Nothing. Arguing with him won't change his mind, it'll only annoy him and get you into trouble. Your objective at college is to get a qualification. She isn't clear about where she is getting her numbers from or how she worked it out. Throw in that she's writing a book and there's plenty of reason to be cynical.
